Guess what? Im on chat support with ActiveCampaign right now. Whenever I have an issue, I go to support, and someone shows up to help me. In the last couple of months, ActiveCampaign contacted me, asked specific questions about how I was using it, and then met with me to educate me on how to use the tool for my needs. As a Leadership Coach and Spanish teacher, I have to manage different sets of contacts. Im learning how to use ActiveCampaign in my business to send the right message, to the right people, at the right time. I learn best through dialogue, and AC gives me the support I need.

I am a website designer and marketing strategist and I made the switch to ActiveCampaign a few years ago. Ive loved it ever since. I have a unique perspective of getting to see behind-the-scenes of a lot of different marketing tools and email platforms when Im helping my clients. ActiveCampaign is hands-down the best value for the money. Since switching weve been able to really scale our email marketing efforts and increase sales. I just got a client yesterday who has been on our list for 2 years, and thanks to the ongoing nurture automations weve set up, she is ready to take action. I especially love that I can clone my automations into my clients accounts to give them a head start on their marketing. It saves them (and me) a tremendous amount of time. Great platform. I highly recommend it.

I had high hopes for this tool after researching it, but implementing the sync between ActiveCampaign and Salesforce caused mass data erasures and overwrites of olddata from ActiveCampaign replacing newerdata entered into Salesforce. The Salesforce sync unfortunately has bugs and the risk involved with mass data erasures / automated systematic overwrites is too great to use this tool with Salesforce.

I work for a non-profit organization with around 50 employees. We’ve been using Active Campaign for 2 years now and love it. Previously we were using CiviCRM for most all our email marketing and CRM needs, plus MailChimp occasionally. We’ve now gone exclusively to AC. It’s a dramatic improvement over both those systems. The organization options in AC are super easy to use and the tracking is better than MailChimp. I love being able to link up to tracking embeds on our websites and, through Zapier, to link up to our other SaaS apps. Tracking is not a panacea, but it is helpful to look into the past and see how groups of people responded to any given email. The only negative thing I can say about AC is the HTML editor for email templates is pretty limited. It’s clearly a system that’s designed to be used by marketers and designers, not programmers. I am a web developer, so I find the code limitations frustrating. As a designer, though, and as a marketer, I love the system. I give it a hearty endorsement!

Their email templates are beautiful. You can easily get technical and marketing support from their team. I have been using ActiveCampaign for some time. I have been delighted with it. Having previously used a much more complex and difficult-to-use system, Ive been very pleased with ActiveCampaigns more visually appealing interface, ease of use, and intuitive approach. While I have needed support only a few times over the past year or so, each experience has been favorable. For the busy small business person, ActiveCampaign just might be the ideal marketing automation tool.

Ive used many different email marketing platforms over the years including some of the most expensive options. Ultimately I chose to stick with Active Campaign and have been with them for several years now. I love that their interface is easy to navigate and understand. Managing automations is a breeze based on triggers, and workflow conditions. If you are just getting started, the price point is affordable and something that you can grow with. Highly recommend.

I absolutely LOVE ActiveCampaign for our CRM needs - as a non-techie, I find it very user friendly & pretty intuitive but on the rare occasion I get stuck (setting up a new automation with triggers & goals), their support team is quick to help! They truly have your back and want you to succeed using their platform. Plus the studyhalls they offer are a wealth of information and Ive made great connections with fellow attendees/like-minded entreprenuers. I highly recommend ActiveCampaign.

A lot of CRMs basically do the same thing. But in 2020, there is one big thing that sets great companies apart from mediocre ones — their customer service. And THIS has been at the heart of my love for Active Campaign. Incredible people to talk to, support articles are well constructed, AND I dont have to go digging through some forum just to try and find an answer.Highly suggested!

As a blogger, Ive used a variety of business services for a variety of purposes, and I can honestly say that ActiveCampaign stands out. Not only is the product well-rounded and surprisingly intuitive to use given the depth of its functionality, the customer service is stellar. I pay for one of the smallest possible product tiers because of the size of my business, but the ActiveCampaign treats me as just as valuable as their highest-paying customers.

ActiveCampaign offers so many tools that allow me automate my marketing but also ensuring my campaigns are MINE. Unlike other email marketing platforms, AC works with my companys marketing plan and style. I love the personalization.

Ive been using Active Campaign for over 5 years. Its a very solid platform that has all of the functionality a small company needs for email marketing and CRM. My only complaint is that the UI can be slow and cumbersome. But if you want a lot of what Hubspot offers without paying Hubspot prices, Active Campaign does the job.

Our company has been using Active campaign for about 2+ years now. It has been great addition for us. The system is very easy to navigate and learn, there is no need to hire someone to manage this system. Between their extensive knowledge base, online tutorials, and lifesaving Live Chat, your questions are sure to be answered. Furthermore, the options for use of ActiveCampaign are endless. Its ability to integrate with other business software makes the day-to-day workflow that much easier. Another key benefit of using ActiveCampaign is that you can quickly and easily change your package; which has been amazing for us during the COVID-19 pandemic. We were able to reduce our package and still have full functionality! i would recommend ActiveCampaign to just about any business!

I strongly recommend against using ActiveCampaign if you are not based in the USA. Im calling the support line (which claims to be 24 hours) at 12pm my time (11pm Chicago time). The automated phone system hooks me through to support (option #2), but it cuts me off after two rings.The 24 hour claim is a lie.And... the reason Im calling support is because they shut my account down at 11pm my time and wont respond to my emails because when I start work at 8am in my timezone they have all left work.

So far, I am extremly unsatisfied with Active Campain. There are two or three facets of the software that havent ever worked for me (though I have been paying for the service for over 6 months now) and no one on the support team can figure them out. I havent been able to send out one newsletter, Im less organzined because it wont sync with my gmail and I cant add contacts to my newsletter lists (in case one day I can actually send one out.) Apparently, my issues have been escalated but still no results. I feel stuck at this point because Ive already invested a ton of money into it, so if you are thinking about this for your business, proceed with caution.

The worst customer experience and at the rates ActiveCampaigns bills at, you would think their support would match the fees. You can never get through to them! I am mean NEVER! You call and sit on hold while the recording is stating that you are next in line to be answered. Only then to be redirected the voicemail. I do not know what their Support Department Head is doing, but, I think the CEO of ActiveCampaign needs to rethink who they have managing their customer support. What they are doing -- IT IS NOT WORKING! Because of this continued horrible support I receive every time I interact with ActiveCampaign has left me no other option but to end my relationship with them. There will be no renewal this month.

So, I signed up for the trial. My first attempt to get support was fine. Got an answer and solution. So far, so good. I ran into another snag, could not find the answer in FAQs or video tutorials, called tech. support, they asked for best time to call I had a 2 hours window, pretty good, right? I get a call roughly 4 hours later. Of course I was busy, plus during that 2 hour window I figured out my problem myself. I think it was about an 1 to 1 1/2 hours time spent Another snag, (in other words, the process is not as easy as lead to believe) repeat, Tech. support returned a call in an 1 1/2 hours. OK, I guess. Now here is the kicker. I receive an email asking if I would like to continue after my trial. Of course, I tell them I have yet to complete setting up my campaign. I receive an offer for help to do just that. Great! I will finally get this done! Set the appointment. 15 before my phone meeting I put my ducks in a row, so I dont waste their time. 15 minutes after the scheduled time, I call to find our why, while on the phone, I receive a cancellation of said meeting. Slow to respond tech support and absolutely ZERO respect and consideration for their customers time. I will now be checking out their competition. Any suggestions?

By far, the worst customer experience Ive ever encountered. Two days trying to get an answer to a question — via email support and via live chat (which I disconnected from after 25 minutes of crickets. Tried calling corporate phone number and all go directly to voicemail. If you covet customer service, or even think youll require speaking to a live person, do not consider ActiveCampaign.

Apparently, Active Campaign thinks it is illegal for an insurance agent to create a guide for those starting onto Medicare, written by a Medicare insurance agent. This is crazy - Days spent building out a campaign which mirrors, exactly, what our other agents are doing, then told that it is Misleading to offer such helpful information to people in direct response to their request for this information on Facebook.Complete and utter waste of time trying to explain the insurance business, to only be replied to with a cut and paste of the original accusation of being misleading and violating their rules.

I signed up for Active Campaign as I found the system to be very robust yet cost effective considering the number of licenses/users you get for the price.The staff member who did the initial onboarding sessions, Spencer Wild, was also very helpful and explained things really well.Ultimately, after 9 months or so we decided to cancel our subscription as the product was too complex if anything for our needs given the amount of data you can collect and run reports on, the insight you can gather, the hundreds of different automations you can run off any action a client takes and the numerous different tests such as split tests, A/B tests you can do. For us, being a small firm, it was probably overkill. But I can see if we had a dedicated marketing team this would be a tremendous product and will no doubt work well for other firms and across all industries.Finally, we also need one product I felt as we need emailing marketing, send out detailed forms/questionnaires, appointment scheduling, invoicing, to send out fee agreements once a client has signed up to use our immigration services etc and we managed to find one that covers that which is a more law/immigration specific CRM.Anyway even after cancelling, Active Campaign gave us a complimentary month which was a nice gesture.I have no hesitation in giving the company a 5* review.

Horrible customer service. They are great when you are on the 14 days trial but once they get get your money they forget all about you. It took 2weeks to get a demo scheduled and when the time came for the demo the guy that I was scheduled with was out of the office for the day! I would not recommend using them

I have to agree, their customer service leaves much to be desired. I just got off the phone with them. The person conducting the demo sounded like he couldnt wait for it to be done, and although he made an offer, it was only valid if I signed up for a half year plan ON THE SPOT. There was not even a 24 hour period to consider committing to a longer term (instead of a monthly) package.. despite me being on the call at 2am in the morning my time! Really dont like how they dont even give you time to think about it. (Its 2am!!)

I have been with Active Campaign for over two years and have been using Enterprise service. I am SO fed up having the same problem over and over again and no one cares to look in to the root of the issue or has courage to say that they are incompetent to solve the issue. The issue is as simple as this - Without no logical reason, our emails stop syncing with our Gmail only to find about this when we realize we missed important email communications and lose the sales. Ive kept the enterprise level service to have a dedicated customer service rep. Weve talked multiple times over the emails, online meetings and he promised to find the issue and get back to me and he never did. No apologies, no customer service, no how can we make it better. Whats the point of doing the marketing and get new customers when you do such a poor service and keep losing the ones loyal to you. Im from Chicago area and really wanted our fellow local company to succeed, but this is really a big let down. I hope you guys get your act together.

I agree with prior reviews re their customer service being awful. I spent approximately two weeks going back and forth with their support team about my campaigns not being delivered during what could have been a lucrative launch. I included evidence of my claim and, instead of taking responsibility and resolving, they shrugged their shoulders. Ridiculous!

Although I tested my Active Campaign email, I did not test it in every email client. As it turned out there was a formatting issue where there were two random instances of [http] appearing in the email. I saw this issue in a email client sold and distributed by a world class company I will refer to this email client as bgemail. I called customer support and was told that this was an bgemail issue. The rep told me that bgemail is archaic. The representative threw bgemail under the bus. Blaming another company for a problem is not a good business practice. Fixing the problem is a good business practice. Of the people who received my email, 11% of them use bgemail. Because of Active Campaign, my organization looks unprofessional to bgemail users. In Active Campaign you cannot view email code. I should also add the the rep sent me an email that had nothing to do with the problem. I know from personal experience that other companies that provide email services dont have these types of issues. Also, Active Campaign only records an open when the images in the email are viewed or a link is clicked on. Because of this, I am not getting accurate information on how many opens I actually had.
