I need a cleaning company for my home because my family want to stay for vacation and I do not have time to clean the whole house since I have work and I. Was lucky that I found E&K Cleaning Service. I contacted them and they were responsive and told me that they will send someone to clean my house on a certain time. They send two women who arrived on time and were very polite. I have to tell them some instructions about cleaning the house and they were very attentive. They disinfect everything they could see. I do not have the time to watch them so I continued on doing my work. After it, I was amazed because my house was absolutely cleaned and organized. They really did follow every instruction I told them which make me really happy. I will definitely give them a call again if I will needed someone to clean my house because they did a great job and the price was very reasonable but affordable. This company is highly recommended.

I will move out in my apartment and I need a move out cleaning services just around the area and I was lucky that I found E&K Cleaning Services. I immediately contacted them and glad that they are very responsive. I easily got a schedule the next day. Then the staffs came just on time and they were very nice. I kind of had a talk with them while they are cleaning and I was okay with it and we share some few stories about ourselves. I like that kind of staffs. They are expert and professional on their job. They finished cleaning the whole apartment after a few hours. They did a excellent job because the apartment was cleaned thoroughly. I highly recommend them for being reliable, trustworthy and most importantly is that the price is very affordable. I will definitely ask for their services again.

Looking for the worst cleaning service in Chicago? You found them and you should avoid them.We contracted them to come 1x/month to clean the common area of our condo building. Its 2 stairwells and two entry areas.They charged $70 for the service. Which seemed a good deal. But after a while, things got fishy. Owners in the second stairwell asked at a meeting if we ever planned on having building cleaning service again. I replied that I was surprised they asked because we did contract cleaners. Another resident said that they usually were on site for about 5 minutes and then left.So the next time they came, I watched. They were here for just under 9 minutes and cleaned 1 stairwell. Sort of. They vacuumed landings and then left. I would call it the bare minimum, but that seems generous. $70 for nine minutes equates to an hourly rate that even my lawyer doesnt charge.I emailed and they said they would come back and remedy it. They didnt. They say they did, but if they did, they managed to clean without any evidence of cleaning. So then I told them that we wouldnt require their services any longer and they should send back our keys. Which 3 months later they still have not done.And normally I would let this all slide as a bad vendor and not leave a review. But then they went and sent the bill for $70 for that last 9 minute visit to a debt collector. I mean after not providing the service for which we were paying for probably close to a year and not copping to the fact that they charged $70 for a 9 minute visit, they went and did that? Come on, now They claim that they track time per visit. Which they might. But I can sit in my car for 30 minutes and say I was somewhere for that time as well - I saw them spend 9 minutes in our building - and other owners think that 9 minutes might have been an extended visit.Again, bad service. Dishonest owners. AND THEY REPORTED A DEBT TO A COLLECTION AGENCY FOR A SERVICE THEY DID NOT PROVIDE.Avoid at all costs.

Sweet lady that came in… But an absolute waste of money. Wish somebody could pay me $160 to wipe down a couple of counters. I mean, the floor was this dirty (pictured) 5 minutes after they left…in the living room! Especially after I had said that the focus of cleaning should be the floors and the bathrooms. No attention to detail.Pay $20 more and go elsewhere. If they do a poor job, they’ll just text you “sorry for the inconvenience”. Disappointing!

I usually dont write reviews, but felt the need to talk about this experience. Very poor, cleaners came late and thee three cleaners took less than an hour to do a deep clean of my 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment. Tons of spots missed, basic wipe down of surface, and was not what I expected for a deep clean service. Do yourself a favor and look for another service.

We have had E&K Service do a monthly deep clean for our apartment since February. Our cleaning professional Maria is prompt, reliable and very thorough. We have never used cleaning company services before so I was not sure how it would work -- I didnt need to worry. The few minor suggestions that I had after the first couple of cleans were cheerfully and quickly incorporated into the routine and did not have to be repeated. She does excellent work -- and does not mind our very friendly dog, either! Their rates are fair and reflect the type of quality work that is provided.

This is the worst experience every for me personally. We booked there service for move in cleaning with many things on my plate I asked them to clean and leave the place when done. After checking later that night I saw none of the things listed on the website where cleaned.I requested them to come back and clean again which they arranged and after looking the way the work is use water to clean with no product at all. It was also surprising to me that the deep cleaning is only done within one hour.Never doing business with them again.

Very professional service and reasonable pricing too. Anna is amazing. She arrived 10-15 minutes early. She was very thorough and never rushed and really focused on leaving every thing clean and spotless.

Ive been using E&K Cleaning service for a few years now and I am always pleased with the great job they do cleaning our apartment! They are very reliable and flexible with timing around my schedule. Their prices are great and they do a wonderful job every time.

We used this service weekly for over a year and were fine with it for the price. We took a break from service for a few months when we were traveling and then in quarantine, then agreed to resume service recently when the company offered and we had returned to work. The service we paid for was the same as wed always had, but none of the specific surfaces we pointed out were cleaned and the floor was seemingly mopped without sweeping so all the dust and dirt ended up just pushed around. After we called about it, we were told that theyd come back to clean again free of charge. That happened today and we came home to find that half the floors werent clean, the only bed wasnt made, a closet that wasnt supposed to be cleaned (since its a closet) was opened and left that way so our cats got in and ate a bag of dog food, and most importantly the bathroom counter and shower werent even touched. We woke up early and made sure that the dishes were done and extraneous things were out of the way so theyd have plenty of time to do the basics, so I really cant figure out why the most fundamental things like the shower werent even started.Its a shame that things have gotten so bad, but at this point well just move to having a more expensive service less often. No point in saving money if nothing gets cleaned.

I did a lot of research for cleaning services and selected E&K. They did an initial cleaning which was wonderful. The cleaning lady did a thorough job throughout the house. She arrived on time and was courteous. Our bathrooms were spotless; the dusting was thorough and our kitchen never looked better. Immediately after she left, I called E&K to schedule weekly cleaning for our townhouse. Their work is outstanding and my wife and I couldnt be happier with the results. I highly recommend them!!!

I couldnt be happier, one of the best cleaning services that I used! My parents were coming to town to visit me so I needed some cleaning immediately. Their crew came by in a couple of hours and did an amazing job. They did deep cleaning in the bathrooms, kitchen, wiped all cabinets, baseboards, washed all the windows from the inside. Miguels crew did a fantastic job yesterday. 5,000 sq ft house post construction. They were able to do everything during one day. I forgot to mention that it was a last minute call.

This company has been providing service for my elderly parents for the past few months now, and they have been very happy with the service and especially that they send the same cleaner each time. Other services that I have tried out for my parents were never able to maintain the same cleaner coming in, which than I had to go over what had to be done in the cleaning each time. This was extremely frustrating, and E&K understood the frustration that I had from the other services and I’ve not had that problem with them till this day. Very Satisfied : )

I live in a three bedroom apartment with two others and recently we called EK Cleaning to get our place clean. Two girls came and did spectacular job. We were very satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone.

Rip-off!!! Very Lazy cleaners. Works very slow to kill time and then asks for extra money to finish the job or leaves without finishing. I tried them for almost 3 months and every single time they came to clean the house had some sort of issue with their services.

I have used E and K Cleaning Service before and everything was great my last cleaning was horrible and the cleaning was not up to par. I believe they may have hired new people the old staff was much better and my home was left with the clean fresh smell to it when the old staff came! 

We are getting ready to put our house up for sale and we hired E and K to do a one time deep cleaning prior to going on the market.I would not recommend E and K. Nothing was cleaned to our satisfaction. We presented them with a checklist from there own website and almost none of it was completed. Cabinets were still dirty, dirt was still on the floors, etc...At the end (7 total staff hours) I did tell them that it looked ok, but that was mostly because I needed to get out of the house, and I no longer wanted them on the clock as they did not seem to be worth what we were paying them.I would not use again. I have had much better results with other services, but unfortunately they were booked this time around. After calling to complain I was offered one free hour on our next cleaning visit, what a slap in the face.

Fantastic cleaning today from E&K. They came on time and the service was very attentive and thoroughly.

Horrible! Im 39 weeks pregnant, have a 3.5 year old and moved last Friday. Were renting out our old place and, while Id normally have cleaned the rental myself, thought it was high time to bring in reinforcements. I called E&K, they estimated the cleaning at 1 person for 3 - 4 hours or so. Then they pulled the bait and switch. They gave me a time frame of 10-12 to arrive and promised that they would call 10-15 min ahead of time to let us know when to meet them. HINT 1: We got a call at 11:54 am saying they were there ringing the doorbell and noone was home (well, really, you promised youd call so we could meet you). HINT 2: Two, not 1, VERY YOUNG looking ladies showed up to clean (double the price per hour!). They looked around and thought it might take closer to 3 hours for both of them (6 hours total), which was well beyond the original estimate of 3-4 hours for 1 person. About 2 hours in, they hadnt matriculated down from the first floor so I went up to see what the fuss was about. I looked in the tub and it was stil really dirty on the bottom. I let it go, but about an hour later, I clocked the one young lady taking 25 minutes to clean the MICROWAVE. Thats when I lost it. I asked her if she had cleaned the tub, she said she had. I grabbed some soft scrub and a sponge and with some good old-fashioned elbow grease (at 39 weeks pregnant) had the dang think sparkling in 5 minutes.Then, I told them they could finish up in the next 10 minutes and be gone. If I had to redo all the work anyway, why would I have them stick around? I offered to pay them for the initial 3-4 hour estimate and they refused to leave my front stoop without more money saying they would call the police if I didnt pay in full. Laughable. Next stop is the Better Business Bureau. Im sure these inexperienced young ladies did the best they could, which, unfortunately, was slow and incredibly un-detail oriented. But, I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy.Be warned.

The service was bad pretty much from start to finish. First of all, they got lost because they had the wrong address. Next, the two ladies, who came originally to perform a move out cleaning (deep cleaning) of my apartment, didnt seem to know what needed to be done in spite of this service having a list on their website. The only things that seemed to have gotten cleaned well was the microwave, the stovetop, the kitchen sink, and the main bathroom. When I went over the work upon arriving home, I noticed so many things on the list that didnt get cleaned well or at all. I called the next morning to complain and was cut off as I told the representative about the situation and was told they would come back to re-clean to make up for the shoddy service. They not only didnt do a re-clean but they brought dirty and dusty cleaning supplies with them and again didnt seem to know what was going on. For all the good reviews of this company, I was very unimpressed.

Horrible!!! 1 Cleaning lady came in the house when there was supposed to be 2 and then walked out without cleaning anything claiming that she couldnt clean the house. You cant trust them. Miscomunications on the phone and very rude people! Horrible service, I would NOT recommend to anyone.

My bathroom shower shelves were not cleaned, garbage wasnt taken out, garbage containers werent cleaned, window stills not cleaned, kitchen chairs not cleaned or moved, mirco wave not cleaned.
