I had a Juno-106 and Matrix-6 synth that were acting up and Mike took the time to do a thorough inspection and was able to fix the Matrix-6 on the spot. Super knowledgeable and will definitely come back if I need anymore tech help with vintage gear.
I have a custom pair of Cary Audio tube amps that needed service. I found Borish Electronics through a web search. I can not tell you how surprised I am with his service. It is five star all the way. He was personable and listened to all of my questions and concerns. When he sourced new tubes, he gave me his advice as which one to acquire, and that were not the most expensive. He is just a pleasure to work with and a super nice guy. He cares about his quality and it shows in his work. I strongly recommend him :-).
Michael is very straight forward no BS best you can get at electronics repair. I had issues with right on my receiver between all three channels along with my light bulbs in front were going dim. Not only did he find the sound issue within three days, he gave me a great quote on getting the lights fixed. He put an LED mod upgrade in the front panel making my receiver look beautiful. As this a piece I was given by my dad I am happy I had it fixed by Michael. Very affordable and very reasonable.
Mike helped me with my TB-303, JUNO-106, Pro One and SH-101. Hes a true pro. 100% recommended.
Very unprofessional when answering the phone, he immediately had an attitude when I asked if he can do a repair and cut me off before i could even tell him the model of the equipment. Basically acted like I wasted his time though I just asked a simple question about his services.
My Juno 106 has never sounded better. The sound chips installed sound excellent
Owner operator Mike does clean work at a fare price.
Incredible service. Fast, efficient, and thorough. He was able to diagnose the problem with my synth with a quick look at the circuit board and fix it just as quickly. Fair pricing. Would definitely come back.
Rude on the phone. Asked for help with a power supply and all I got was “no” and he hung up. Nice, Borish!
Mike is probably the most knowledgeable electronic instrument user, designer, and technician you will find. Not only did he make quick work of my Juno 106 repair, hes clearly up on the current analog renaissance and all of its pitfalls for consumers. I wouldnt trust my gear to anyone else.
Serviced my vintage Minimoog Model D and got it sounding like it should! Very friendly, quick turnaround, reasonable cost. Im very happy and highly recommend Borish Electronics!
I contacted him to try to have him fix my alpha juno synth, all I got is an email back saying I cant help you, maybe your battery is dead I then replied specifying that I didnt need a diagnosis over emailt but for him to actually fix the synth and even asked if he couldnt do it or if he was was too busy or if he could refer me to someone else, a few days passed by still no response, thats bad customer service in my opinion.
Mike is an excellent person, and runs an excellent shop. I highly recommend him!
Excellent work, he repaired my synth quickly and it’s been working great!
Mike does exceptional work! One capacitor at a time, he brought my Classic Memorymoog Plus back to life and I would highly recommend his service and expertise to anyone needing to have repairs done right.
