Hi, I just wanted to point out again that Ashley is amazing!!! I am so happy we have her as my sons therapist. She really really knows her stuff and has great ideas and is such good energy for him too. He is so blessed to be working with her.I just wanted to share a little story that happened today that I saw as a huge breakthrough: we had been working for years with a previous company on teaching him conversation skills, with very little success. More recently, Ashley (and Naomi of course) started a program where she asks him a question about himself and after he responds, she prompts him to ask her a related question. Its always been very prompted and very rote, with him repeating back verbatim the question that was just asked of him, and Ill be honest I had my doubts whether it would ever translate into anything practical for him. But this afternoon, Ashley walked in, her usual friendly self, sat down next to him and totally naturally asked him if he ate lunch yet and what he had eaten. After he told her what he ate, he BY HIMSELF WITH NO PROMPTING said Ashley, whats your favorite flavor of cereal and milk? Which, (aside from the fact that he on his own decided to continue the conversation) is a totally new statement and totally new question that he worded all on his own, not memorized or heard anywhere else before... Just 100% generalization of a new skill that he just learned because of Ashleys commitment to trying again and again and her confidence that one day hell get it! I was shocked and so impressed! I am so excited to see my son finally learn some functional communication skills.Thank you Steinberg Behavior Solutions for all you do to teach our children with so much love, care, and expertise.

We had Steinberg Behavior Solutions for 6 years. They were very diligent to help my child improve. When they started working with him, he was only able to say three or four words. Now, he speaks fluently and able to express his feelings and share his opinions. If I had an issue, Sarah would take action right away to address the issue. You would be surprised to find out how intelligent and creative Sarah is. In general, I was very pleased with their services and professionalism.

I direct the preschool at Cheder Lubavitch Hebrew Day School. Sara Steinberg has worked with students at Cheder. One student had selective mutisim. Sara came to work with the student and the child started talking to the teacher and the children in the class. We watched how Sara transformed this child into a verbal, productive and happy child in the classroom. We had another child who refused to use the bathroom at home or any public place. Sara worked with the child and the child started using the bathroom in school and other public places. Through the magnificent work of Sara, the child matured and became independent.
