Horrible service! My toilet came with broken tank cover. Followed their directions and sent pics - nothing! They keep saying 24-48 hours for it to arrive but that never happens! Cannot reach anyone at corporate, of course. Call center person, Mary, is nice but not helpful. BUY ELSEWHERE!

Well i put in an order for a part for my AC. part arrived destroyed and i called to communicate that with them and they said my money would be refunded however its been about a month and i still dont see my refund in my account i have message them and called them and all they say is that it has been refunded. its so upsetting cause its my hard earn money they havent refunded. Absolutely under no circumstances should you order from this company. Any good review you see on here I assure you is fake and written by the company themselves. Had I read their reviews prior to my purchase I never would have done it. I ordered a sink from them, it came broken. They are IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with. No one ever answers emails or the phone, and when they do, they just tell you that they can’t help you, that they are just there to write a ticket. There is NO supervisor, or manager to speak to. It doesn’t matter how many times you try or ask there is nobody that will actually help. They will tell you to email HED support- but they will also give you the run around. I’ve emailed them about 30 times asking for my refund and all they say is “we’re looking into it” not sure what there is to look into. My sink was broken, I returned it, they received it, give me my money back.I’m now having to go through the process of filing a claim with my bank. This has been nothing but a headache and this company should be shut down. BUYER BEWARE!

Item arrived earlier than expected and works fine. Resulted in a big improvement in the bathroom. The manufacturer could do a MUCH better job with instructions on replacing this part, but that is not the responsibility of the seller. Fortunately I was able to find a video online showing how to install this deodorizer catalyst. HOWEVER, if it is coming from China, it will take 48+ days BUT, China always says its shipped immediately after its ordered

I would give less of a rating if possible. Iplaced an order for an item I needed. Then I found it cheaper with faster shipping. I immediately emailed the company (with-in 30 minutes of my order) as well as called 2 times and left 2 voicemails and then emailed again through a second method. The status of my order was still waiting to be processed and never changed. The last email I sent finally received a response, “we can’t cancel the order it has been shipped” the status of my order never changed. I asked that they issue a return label and I will send it back. They refused and said we do no do returns for Buyers remorse and said they would also charge me 20% restock fee if I sent it back at my costs. I will never use this company again. You can not reach an actually person by their phone number and the only email that works is if you open an account with them. The contact us one they provide gets no response. They do not change the status of your orders properly and ship items out after already being immediately notified the order should be cancelled. I never receive a status change notice until 10 hrs after they told me it shipped. Up until that point the status was still in process.

Full disclosure: I never even got to the point of submitting an order, and in retrospect I’m glad I didn’t. I emailed their support asking if a particular item listed on their site included a part - the item subject line said it was included but the description said it was not. It’s been 4 business days and I still haven’t heard back. I called their 1-888 number and was met with a recording asking me to email them for a faster response. I stayed on the line and was eventually directed to voicemail, but I hung up. In their defense they did try to call me several hours later saying they noticed a missed call, which I ignored because I had already purchased the item elsewhere.

I wish I could give this company a negative 5 as this company stole money from me. My card information got stolen and was used to make a purchase with them and a other company. I contacted the other company and they were very helpful and had steps to make sure purchases like that don’t happen and help me dispute the charge. This company on the other hand (Home Essentials Depot) was the least helpful customer service I’ve ever experienced. The lady couldn’t speak English very well when I called to get information on the order and cancel it so the POS didn’t get what they ordered with my money. I stayed on the phone but from the start I could tell they already weren’t going to help me. She told me she’d send me a email to talk with someone who works on things like this. The email was no help. They wanted a order number for a order I didn’t make. I explain my situation again and never heard back. Don’t do business with this company, I’ve read the normal purchase reviews and they are mostly bad. I’d do business else where.

I ordered a faucet from this site the middle of this month. It got shipped fairly quick. I received it, opened it up ready to install it only to find it was not what I ordered. I called customer service and explained the problem. They understood completely, said they were sorry I had this experience. They reviewed what I ordered and said it would be shipped out today as we spoke. (Yeah, right) Much to my surprise I received the faucet I originally order the next day. I was looking for a wall mounted water cooler for my business. I googled to find the best price. This company came up. After checking other sources, Home Essentials was the best price. I ordered it, had it in two days. Installed it the next day and had cool water in an hour. They came thru for me in both product price and delivery. Very happy doing business with Home Essentials.

I needed an out of production instant hot water heater--the replacement model was larger than its predecessor and didnt fit the space I had. Thought Id found it at Home Essentials as they specifically advertised the model I needed (at a higher price than Amazon charged for the replacement unit, but I figured they were charging more because no more were being produced). They did not ship the advertised model, but instead the replacement. It took them way too long to authorize the return, and they then refused (or, rather, ignored) my request that they reimburse me the cost ($20+) of returning the INCORRECT unit they sent me. VERY dissatisfied.

We ordered a screened door from this seller. The tracking information stated it was delivered to an address about 100 miles from where we live. We notified the seller and got a new delivery date. On the day we expected delivery the door never arrived- the driver put “attempted delivery” in the tracking comments- a blatant lie- I was home all day. Then, when the door was finally delivered it was poorly packaged and damaged. The seller filed an insurance claim which they claim was denied since we didn’t require a signature upon delivered. Can you believe they are refusing to give us a refund for their damaged product? Do NOT trust this seller.

Scammers. Showed a picture of a digital deadbolt and then sent me just the lock cylinder then charged me to send it back and a 20% re-stocking fee. Bought the same digital deadbolt from Amazon after for $2 less than their price. Big hassle to return and lost 40% of purchase price after paying shipping. Even the box they shipped in had been returned before had RMA number from previous person they scammed, so beware.

Ordered item, waited 2 weeks and never received. Emailed company and was assured the item would be shipping out that week. 2 weeks later emailed the company again, received no response this time. Called and left voicemail after 2 days of no response and also got no response from voicemail. After a week of no responses have cancelled order. Poor customer service.

I wish I read the reviews prior to ordering from them. I ordered a toilet online, said the expected delivery was 3-5 business days. Three days later, the order still says Awaiting Fulfillment. I sent them 4 emails and I have yet to hear back from them. I contacted the customer service number and I was rerouted to the Philippines and she was not able to assist me at all. She assured me that someone would call me within 24 hours...still waiting.

This company is also known as Zappy Sales. They take a long time to deliver the product to get their money before you receive their bogus product! Their website is set to where you cannot leave truthful reviews. The 2 day shipping is a complete fallacy! You must leave voicemails and emails. Customer service you can get anyone...is short with you. The shower stalls are NOT as advertised! They will send you walls and no seating nor pan-even though the product description says it is included. The pan is an additional $253. The seating is not sold. They dont even have it. All of this is in the photo as well as the product description. I was told that they sell this a LOT and customers send it back. What a WASTE of holding my money and shipping!!! It will be WEEKS before I receive my $700 refund because they ask you to email photos and await their claims department...mail it back and wait MORE time for processing of the refund!!! Yeah. Awful. Ordered an item and a week later they refunded the money because it was out of stock. But, amazingly, theyre still selling it on their website! And Google isnt being honest with their reviews because when looking up the item, Google says theyve got a 91% positive reviews, but when you look up the actual company (separately) you can see theyve got terrible reviews. I would have NEVER ordered from them based on their actual reviews, but Google completely misled me about this company.

I recently ordered from HED through Amazon. A glitch occurred with the shipping tracking - the item was noted as having been delivered. I contacted Fed-Ex and was told the tracking number I was given was not mine. I then contacted HED and was told of the glitch. The CSR gave me the updated tracking number (USPS) and the item was delivered two days later in good condition. Customer Service gave me the information I needed and, the item arrived on time. Thank You, Customer Service! (I would have given 5 stars if it were not for the tracking glitch)

No stars would be more appropriate. Ordered replacement toilet tank. It took 10 days to receive the tank. Wrong tank sent to us. Part number not even close. It then took 6 days to have them instruct us on shipping return. We had to send the tank back to a company called Zappysales, not Home Essentials Depot. Look up ZappySales!! The shipping cost to return was almost $95.00. I sent shipping receipts for reimbursement. Why should I have to pay to return their mistake? They offered store credit. Why would I order anything from them at this point. I have been emailing and calling daily for our reimbursement and absolutely no response. Really bad deal. I will be contacting the BBB in Chicago for what ever that will be worth.

Horrible. I ordered 2 Toto drain assemblies on June 21. There was no 2 day shipping for sure. I have emailed them twice for a date I would receive them. Both times I was told about 2 weeks. Today I just got an email saying my order has been cancelled. I have had a handyman just waiting for my call to come install them. The think this company is a fraud.

We purchased a Toto brand toilet thru Amazon, fill by Home Esssentials Depot. A tiny, hairline crack in toilet tank was not visually evident until after assembly and install, when we saw water weeping thru the tiny crack. The packaged toilet sat in original packing for a few weeks, as we awaited tile work completion. We expected they would ship a replacement without delay and instead, they denied our claim because more than 48 hours had passed from the time of delivery. I would never again make any purchases from the Home Essentials Depot as they evidently lack any semblance of customer service, common sense or compassion. It seems we just wasted alot of time and $ 350.00. In reading thru other reviews, it seems this kind of problem is not uncommon.

They don’t stand behind their products and returns are all on you including restocking fees for items which don’t fit the items they are shown to fit. They pretty much have a screw you attitude. I won’t buy from them again.

In spite of the many negative reviews, I ordered from Home Essentials against my better judgement. What a mistake. While I was trying to place the order online, their system kept giving me an error. So I tried again to place the order, and again received an error. So I called them and they said they couldnt tell if the order was placed.I then checked my email and got confirmation that BOTH orders were submitted. I didnt need two sinks. So off I go to call them again. You wouldnt think it would be too hard to understand my issue. Cancel one order, keep the other order. I only need ONE SINK. It took about 10 minutes for the customer disservice person to grasp what I was trying to do. Not rocket science. Two duplicate orders. Cancel one. Keep one.Well, I did get email confirmation that they had canceled one of the orders. And today I get another email saying they canceled the other order. Off to the phone I go again. Im sure I was talking to the same person each time and she still just didnt get it. I explained to her that they had canceled both orders but I only wanted one of the duplicate orders canceled. She said yes I see we did cancel both orders per your request. To which I told her that I was not going to be ordering from them. Now Ill wait to see how quickly they refund my credit card.Beware - if you want to waste time expecting an order to be processed, and it to be processed wrong, by all means then order from them. Otherwise, find someplace else to spend your hard earned $$$.

Watch out for their return policy. When they say a 20% restock charge may apply, it should read a 20% restock fee WILL apply. I asked to return a product after a quick inspection. It was just poor quality, and I stated that in my return request. I returned it in the same box, and in the same condition, but was dinged 20%. I asked via e-mail for an explanation, but NO RESPONSE. I will never buy from them again.

This is an unscrupulous seller... I purchased 3 items from them on Amazon, but when I received them they were not correct for my application. I returned them by USPS, but they arrived on 3 separate days ... I have the delivery confirmations from USPS that says that they were signed for by an individual.... HOME ESSENTIALS DEPOT claimed to me by email that 2 of the 3 items were damaged and un-sellable, however, they told Amazon that they they never received the other 2 items and AMAZON has denied my claim twice.... So I am out $200.00 and then miraculously Home Essentials Depot had the same items that I returned for sale for $35 less..... I would not recommend doing business with them and I will most likely cancel my familys Amazon Prime account because of this...

I bought a stove as a mothers day gift. I purchased the stove a month in advance and even though the website said it was 2 day delivery. However, it was never sent even though the payment was taken. I waited a week before I emailed them for any update on the shipping and got an automatic email saying it would be shipped later that week. I waited another week and still no update. I emailed them again and got the same message. I gave up when I noticed they were automatic emails and choose to call them.I got a lady on the phone that let me know that shes not sure why it has not been shipped to me yet and she would contact me back later that same day for an update (that never happened).I had to send another email later that week and was finally given an update. I was told I could not have the item due to it being out of stock and they would issue a refund due to the mistake. Which they did, but I went back to their website again and see the stove I ordered that was mistakenly sold to me even though it was out of stock was still on their website at a higher price than what I paid for originally.I didnt mind waiting for the stove thats why I bought it so early. However, to sell me a item, charge me, have me contact them more than once and wait almost 3 weeks before the mistake was corrected, is terrible. What really upset me was the fact that its still being sold on their website for a much higher price. So its either they choose to not honor the rate they sold me the stove for and lied about it not being in stock or they are externally unreliable with the items they sell on their website.

Wish I could give zero stars - they sent me 2 bulky sinks that ended up being slightly too large for the space where they were needed. The return cost of the sinks ($150 shipping) plus the restocking fee meant that my $200 purchase ($100 each) was basically a wash. Think twice who you order bulky items online from - amazon has a great return policy - Home Depot, you can take it back to a brick and mortar store - this place - you are screwed. I hated to spend another $150 so that they could refund me a pittance. I asked them to send me a shipping label and deduct it from my refund, so that it wouldnt be any more money out-of-pocket. This was too difficult for them. They couldnt do it. After weeks of calls, emails, begging and pleading with them - I give up. Lesson learned.

Dont order from this website! You never get anyone on the phone and if you do, they take a message and you might get an email back. We received a damaged sink and had to wait on an email and then they asked for a picture and then after another email they sent Fed Ex to pick it up and you never hear back. Fed Ex picked it up on 3/38 and we have not heard anything on 4/10. I finally called them again (5-6 times now) and they will take a message and have someone get back to me by email. The headache and time and frustration is not worth the little money you save! The site says price match guarantee which is BS. When I emailed about matching a lower price I found I was told they no longer do that. Then remove it from your website. I asked about sendiding item back and was told they will charge a 20% restock fee. Terrible customer service. Once I get stung by a business like this I never go back. BEWARE doing business with them.

Ordered a faucet, believing their 2-day shipping policy. Didnt hear anything for weeks, and received multiple generic emails claiming my faucet would ship this week or next or sooner. ???I was also promised that Id receive a notification as soon as the package was shipped out, with tracking info. Nearly a month later (28 days to be exact), I see security camera footage of a package getting stolen off of my front porch, and couldnt figure out what it could be. Turns out it was the faucet, which this seller not only dispatched 3 WEEKS after I ordered it, they didnt even notify me it was on the way so I could be home for delivery. In fact, even up until the moment my package was stolen, the status of my purchase on HEDs website was Awaiting Fulfillment. I had to call UPS to find out where the package was sent from.I tried contacting them regarding filing a lost package claim with UPS and theyve stopped replying to my emails.Shady, unprofessional, unbelievably frustrating experience.

Stay away from this seller, total scammers. Horrible horrible customer service thats outsourced to another group. Never again will I buy anything from them, still waiting on my refund. Buyer beware and run the other way!!!

One of the worst online stores I have ever dealt with. Useless customer service. Order arrived 2 weeks late and then was broken. They refused to take a return on the item. Never again. It may have been the cheapest but it ended up costing a lot of money

The item pictured was not what we got! They deceived us by showing the entire drain cleaner and a crossed out price of $533.00. Instead we only got the coil. Buyer beware! Or you will end up feeling as screwed as I did

Saw pending charges on my credit card for items I did not order. Called the customer service number provided by my credit card to inquire about the purchase. Could barely understand the rep. Being that I did not order the items, there was no order number that I could provide them. The lady hung up on me.

I recently ordered a sink from Amazon in which went through HED. I was promptly sent shipping info. which was incorrect. Evidently they had a glitch. I contacted Amazon which then contacted HED while I was on the line. HED quickly got back to me the next day with the correct shipping info. I received the sink in good condition with no problems. So only gave 4 instead of 5 due to shipping issue. Other than that, everything is good.

I looked everywhere for this fan and found HED to be the cheapest. I ordered the vent and it was delivered within 2 days. Ill order again from HED if need be.

Do not buy from this place. I sent something back that was $121.54 because it was the wrong hand door knob hoping for a simple exchange. They gave me the address to return it if i would pay to ship. I waited a week AFTER THEY SHOULD HAVE RECIEVED IT before bugging them about a refund or exchange. They told me they would take care of it and I would recieve a refund but all i got back was 84.28 out of what I paid. So dishonest.

I placed a small order on Dec 14th I received the order on Jan 5th. In between that time, I called 3 times to cancel the order and left messages, of which nobody returned. I also emailed, no response. I finally get my item and the return policy is ridiculous! I pay return charges, plus I wont get refunded my original shipping cost plus, theres a 20% restock fee. This order was pretty small and its not worth the hassle of this pathetic company to return the item. Buyer: shop elsewhere.
