In 2014, I went through one of the most difficult times in my life, I was faced with a divorce. Like everyone in that situation, I was confused, scared and unsure. I did not know the first thing about hiring a lawyer let alone talking to one. A good friend of mine told me to contact his attorney, Anita Ventrelli. He told me that even if I hired her for a one-hour consultation, it would make a world of difference and help give clarity to the situation. As I am writing this and thinking about it, in my most sincere and heartfelt matter, his words could not have rung truer. From the first moment I walked in her office, Anita was professional and compassionate. She helped me sort through and answer all of my questions. She explained the law to me and what to expect, and told me what I needed to do. I walked out of the office with a feeling of reassurance that things were going to be ok. Her experience and understanding of the law blew me away. She is amazing and I couldnt have been more happy with the outcome of my case. I have found Anita to be one of the kindest, most honest and good people that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Anita along with her entire firm, Schiller DuCanto, and Fleck are at what I deem the pinnacle of practicing law. Anita Ventrelli by far is the best family law attorney in the City of Chicago!

Schiller Ducanto and Fleck is easily the most despicable law firm I have ever encountered. Of course they would want to drag cases out as long as possible to maximize their billable hours, but they do this so shamelessly it is amazing they havent been disbarred. Attorneys like these are the reason why people hate attorneys!! Not one ounce of ethics or conscience in this law firm as far as I can tell. Schiller Ducanto & Fleck, though claiming to be a family law firm, apparently has no qualms with their talentless attorneys pretending to be qualified experts in trusts and estates law. Just another example of their willingness to exploit clients(even after the divorce is over) - although their deception and manipulation is almost impressive when you consider the total incompetency of the attorneys of Schiller Ducanto & Fleck in essentially every other aspect. It seems they have found their calling in taking advantage of their own divorce clients and their children. Run as fast as you can to literally any other law firm.

Do not hire this firm. They take all your money, play the game of going around and around, petition after petition with no resolution. He does not have your best interests at hand, I would make settlement agreements with my ex-husband and then the attorneys would disagree to disagree and drag it out for months and years! Charging you for every minute. A simple divorce with a very modest middle income family, cost me alone over $200,000 by the time it was finally over. I had to fire him in the middle of the mess and find another attorney.Absurd and devastating to say the least! Then they file a lien on your home which crushes your credit report. Its enough to go through the divorce let alone be abused by money hungry attorneys who do not care if they force you into bankruptcy.

I had the worst possible experience with this firm! I would highly advise anyone with a Family Law issue to steer clear of Schiller, DuCanto, & Fleck. Their attorneys are arrogant and seemingly unconcerned about the value that they provide to their clients. I set up a conference call with Jason Sposeep; he was unprepared, late to the call, ended it before the consultation for which I had pre-paid was concluded without providing me any advice. Worse, he insulted my family! When I complained to the senior partners I was totally ignored. Apparently, whatever successes they have achieved have left them with the belief that they are not beholden to their oaths or to customer service. This is an awful firm with horrible client service.

As an Illinois divorce lawyer, I have a great deal of respect for this firm.
