Do not do this, the only thing it does for you is ruin your credit score, you honestly are better off filing bankruptcy if you are struggling. This program sinks your credit score by 100 points minimum and makes it almost near impossible to bring it back up. While you are not adding any additional interest, you still are paying the same amount you owed in debt to begin with. with 15k in debt, I saved less than $500 and ruined my credit score and chance at buying a home anytime soon. They are unprofessional to feedback, do not help you at all, and blame you when they made a mistake. I would not recommend this service to my worst enemy, and you should stay far away from them.

Total waste of money and time. They promise a lot of things and do not deliver. They say they’re here to help you and you’re important to us but nothing could be farther from truth. I realized after nine months I had made mistake choosing Turnbull Law Group in association with Freedom Debt Relief. Don’t be fooled by their commercial ads on tv and Facebook making them look like your debt saviors, they’re not. Stay away. I feel sorry for those who have not seen what you really get.

This company was supposed to help me get out of debt. They promised alot but deliver very little. They gladly take your money and give you nothing in return. They have been taking money for over a year and in the process totally ignored one of my creditors. That creditor sent me a summons and when I tried to get in touch with my attorney I could only contact customer service. Customer service said they would send an email to my attorney. It took over a month to hear something back and that was only because I contacted just about every lawyer in my area to see if they work with this company. This lawyer told me I either settle with what the creditor wants or I go to court on my own. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, you will be sorry.

Great option if you want to sink your credit score and have the Sheriff summon you to court. Easily one of the worst financial decisions Ive made. Non-responsive and will likely blame you every step of the way. Good for you if you had a good experience with them, but my experience has left me with horrid credit, still in debt and likely having to appear in court. This is all after paying my monthly fee on time every month. There has to be a better option.

Their debt consolidation is a scam. Whatever money they save you, they turn around and charge that amount as a settlement fee so youre literally paying thousands of dollars for someone to do for you what you could just as easily do for yourself and NOT cost yourself extra thousands of dollars. I understand they have to make money for their services but it cost you WAY more than they originally advertise. You are so much better off working with the creditors on your own.

When initially enrolling in this program I was at a point where I thought there were no other options. However, as time has progressed I realized what a bad decision this was. With all my accounts being settled they were settled anywhere from 45 to 51% of the actual debt. However, when you add the fees your total you owe Turnbull is almost the full amount of your beginning debt. Personally I would have done better negotiating with the creditors myself. Especially as time was going on the creditors were sending me settlement requests directly. That I should have accepted and then no fees from Turnbull. So think twice before you chose this option.

This company does not consolidate you loans or offer a consolidation loan. Turnbull does not take a part of your settlement. Credit score will go down but they help you get out of debt. You basically put money in an escrow account to pay off your creditors at a settled amount. Ive always had a great time calling CS and they were always responsive and helpful. I have managed to pay off 7 out of 8 of my debts!

Very happy with Turnbull 5 months into program and they settled a 19000 dollar debt for 5730. Dont believe bad reviews. They get paid only when they settle a debt. They never take your money monthly like other people say without settling a debt. So far all i have to say is keep up the goid work Turnbull

I have been able to benefit from TLGs Debt Resolution Program. Although my credit score went down, I was able to settle with 2/5 of my creditors in my first year. The minimum payment and interest was not helping me get out of debt. The attorney and negotiation team was able to work out a settlement. They do not consolidate your debts rather I just put money away in a dedicated savings account. I really didnt need to worry about my credit because I wanted to get out of debt anyways and didnt want to fall into the same trap. They call me often and as long as I make my monthly program deposit, everything goes fine. TLG took a $15,500 debt of mine and negotiated it down to $7,900.

Worst decision I have ever made. Failed to respond to a creditor despite me sending all communication immediately. They told me most creditors dont file suit so they didnt try to contact them or negotiate a payment agreement prior to suit being filed. Ended up with a lawsuit filed against me and then failed to send payments to creditor despite my consistent, on time payments to them. This resulted in my paycheck being garnished while the ENTIRE amount past due to the creditor sat in their 3rd party account. I could have addressed the entire matter myself and prevented ALL of the legal issues. Tough lesson learned. 0/5 stars if I could.

Horrible, they say they will negotiate within 5 or 6 months and have you put money into the account. Of course they settle the biggest debt, take their fee upfront, knocking your savings down to nothing, and then say we cant negotiate the rest of your bills unless you add more money. Meanwhile my credit score continues to go down, and down and down. Been 7 months and they negotiated two of my bills. Meanwhile, fees continue to come out of my account. My thoughts, stay away, work with your creditors yourself. Very sorry I signed up. I will need to stay with it since I am stuck.

I have paid 3 months of payments meant to go to my credited but nothing has been paid. I was told to contact a law firm for advice. I called. Sent emails and no response. They need to be stopped from scamming people who are trying to pay their debts

First of all, their debt resolution program is not a debt consolidation program. Second, of all its not a scam, otherwise they would not be around helping me out. Their fees are all upfront. It does take some time for settlements to complete but that depends on how much you are putting into the program. Its my fault for getting into this mess and TLG are helping me out. My attorney is always there to respond to my phone calls.

The negative reviews are fake reviews I am soon to be going through freedom debt relief. You will be given an amount to pay into a escrow acct. All your creditors will be contacted within 30 days to note that they are now representing you. They will then negotiate with you creditors an amount to settle at. note: all. Late fees and interest are already applied to the total you owe Turnbull. If you think theyre doing this for free youre crazy, of course theres a fee in there probably cycled into your monthly payment. Of course your credit score is going to go down but what do you expect? Poor 82 yr old grandma in a previous review was either fake or she stopped making her payments. Get real people if you dont understand what youre doing them dont sign the paper and give them your money.

If you are on time with your accounts and feel like you run the risk of falling behind, I strongly urge you to speak with your creditors to work out a payment plan. This law group will force your accounts to close so they can receive a settlement, and this will take a huge hit to your credit report. On top of all that, they will charge you a fee on each settled account(mine was 27 percent) which you could have just used to pay down your balances. When you decide to terminate, they will threaten you and say you could run a risk of being sued by creditors. Don’t look forward to a refund because it will all go towards their fees. I do not recommend this company and I’m worst off after their services.

Be cautious when reaching out to these ppl they are crooks. When I had to cancel the program, they paid my debt collector $150 and they took the remaining of my money Kyle the debt counselor said it was was more available they would took that as well. They are suppose to help ppl but all they are doing is helping themselves. A total waist of my money and my time, you would be better off filing bankruptcy at least you would see results, trust me I would stay far as hell from them or don’t it’s on you.this the WARNING!!!!

I agree with all the other negative reviews. I entered into a program with them. They have paid themselves so far with all my monthly deductions of $600/monthly and have not done any settlement. My credit score is in the gutters now. I could have reached out to my debtors myself instead of using these crooks.

First of all I want to address the other 2 reviews. #1 This company does NOT consolidate you loans or offer a connsolidation loan.#2, all these type of companies work the same way and charge just about the same amount.#3 They do NOT take a part of your settlement . Proof ? Everything is in writing. You see the amount the Credit card company settled for. And Turnbull charges a flat fee for their service.#4 Yes your credit score is going to that a big hit. But if youre to the point where youre telling your creditors you cant pay them, youve got no business buying anything else on credit. If you dont know how this program works; you stop paying your credit cards till the get disperate enough to accept a lessor amount. In the mean time, you are putting money into an escrowl account so when the credit card company says what amount they will accept they can be paid some or all.

These people are crooks. My grandma tried to consolidate her debt with them, and they did nothing but pay themselves the whole time. They do nothing but lie, lie, lie. My grandma had soooo much taken from her by these people, and shes 82 years old. Never trust these criminals.
