I am always impressed by how quickly CHP responds to maintenance requests! Juan Ruiz is terrific, as are all the wonderful staff.

Hector came to my apartment to repair a malfunctioning window shade within ten minutes of hearing that I had a problem. He diagnosed the problem quickly and made the repair carefully. Hes a very knowledgeable and courteous person.

Juan is amazing! We had a service request and he went above my expectations to get the job done!

I love that Mac properties has a maintenance system in place. It makes it so easy to put in a request and get some help with the apartment in a timely manner. Also, Stefan is great! Hes the handyman for my building, and hes always so helpful and respectful of my space. Highly recommend him!

Stefan has been fulfilling our recent work orders. Hes prompt, respectful and has fixed everything perfectly and quickly. The Mac team in general has also been very friendly and helpful in getting various work orders completed as soon as possible.

I needed to have a security rail added to the toilet seat in my mother’s bathroom. Jerry & Hector were awesome as they had to go back and get a specific tool to complete the install. Greatly appreciated as I know she will be safe.

Stefan came to snake the bathtub and sink drains. It was extremely quick and he did a great job. He responded to the request extremely fast as well.

I put in a work order on a Saturday to have my shower head tightened. I didn’t expect anyone to show up until Monday, but Juan showed up within a couple of hours and fixed the issue. Great service!!

We had a closet door come off the roller. Maintenance sent Stefan to fix it. He did a great job. He repaired the door and it works as good as new. You couldn’t tell he was here, he cleaned everything up and was super quick. Thanks Stefan.

Lameka is the first person I see when I enter my home. She brings joy and happiness when she reaches out to greet me. Shes pleasant and always have a smile on her face. Its been a joy knowing her and her ability to make me comfortable.

My toilet was clogged. I put the request in at 12:49pm and Juan Ruiz was at my door at 1:24pm. He wore booties and was super professional and friendly. Very happy with his service.

Ive been living at City Hyde Park for a little over a year now and its been a shelter and refuge from how chaotic and stressful life can be, a home in the truest sense of the word. And what makes a home a home are the people, and everyone who works here is so helpful, kind, and generous with their time and spirit. The people who work at the front desk, Lameika, Pat, Ebony, and Natasha are wonderful and always greet you with a smile. Whether they dispense wisdom, manage the constant flow of traffic, or make sure issues are handled promptly, its always done with the same warmth and excellence. The maintenance and engineering staff, especially Tiffany, Shakira, and Hector do great, prompt work and keep the building running smoothly. The kindness of all these great folks cant be praised enough.

Never park here. The absolute most rude customer service ever. Waiting in line, for 20 minutes, to exit garage due to a someones credit card getting jammed inside machine. No one ever came out to explain that theres a problem with the card machine. Instead they made us each stop, insert our card, only for it to tell us, ticket jammed, which they already knew, with no apology at all, but instead with annoyance. They were aware there was an issue and as a courtesy to their guests, should have apologized for the inconvenience and just left the gate up instead of acting like they aware or did not care.

I must compliment one of your employees, Lameka Kennedy, for the excellent service she has provided me over the past few months, As a former homeowner and recent resident of City Hyd Park, she has been exceptionally welcoming, patient, friendly and polite, answering any questions and concerns I may have to assist me in my successful transition to apartment living. Although I have been very pleased with the service I have received from City Hyde Park staff, its important to take the time to officially note how helpful Lameka has been.

I recently applied for a affordable housing apartment, with City Hyde Park.I turned in my application and I was called back the beginning of July from Krystal Black (Leasing Manager),in which she stated that I did not qualify for the program because I am a student in college, so I told her that the paper I was given from City Hyde Park stated that FULL-TIME students did not qualify for the affordable housing program, she proceeded to say It doesnt say on the paper, but its FULL-TIME and PART-TIME students that dont qualify then I told her that I do not receive any financial assistance from school and she stated that she would give me a call back when she contacted the city to see if I would qualify then. On July 6, 2016, I received a call from Krystal stating that she WENT AHEAD AND PROCESSED MY APPLICATION and that I was conditionally approved for the credit/background check portion of the application, which meant that the next step was to get approval from the city. At the time that I submitted my application my fiances name was on the application as the co-applicant, however they ignored the fact that my fiances name was on the application. When I turned in my required documents Krystal seen my Fiances name on the tenant income certification form and then stated that my fiance would have to fill out a application and turn in the required documents, that I had to turn in as well, which delayed us a week, then I received a call from Krystal Black stating that my fiance and I did not qualify for the program due to our income. Our income did not exceed the maximum income requirement for two people. I informed Krystal that we did not over qualify because the check stubs that were turned in to her were for bi-weekly pay periods, and did not exceed 30 hours. I then received a call from RaMara Vassel (Project Manager) she tried to break down to me how my fiance and I were over qualified (making too much money) and I explained to her the same exact info I told Krystal. RaMara then stated that the total was calculated based off my fiances verification of employment form which stated that she received 40 hours every week, RaMara stated that my fiance could turn in a new VOE form since her employer filled it out wrong, We also turned in our W-2s. Our profile was then submitted to the City Of Chicago for approval which relayed back to Krystal that they needed a letter from all of my previous employers stating that I no longer work for their companies, I was only able to obtain one letter from my previous employer, I then emailed Krystal the letter that I received, and after three days I have yet to receive a call or conformation email from Krystal Black stating that she received the letter. Krystal then emailed my Fiance stating that she needed a VOE form from her previous employer. Since then we have been calling Krystal and leaving voice mails and yet to receive a call back, to answer further question that we have. My fiance and I feel that we have been discriminated against because of our age, and my fiances race (Hispanic). We have been delayed over and over through out this whole month and a half application process.
