They have the worst communication hands down! They throw in a class thats about to end just to keep the money
Do NOT schedule a Pearson vue exam here! They canceled my appointment without properly notifying me. I paid to come all the way here and took time off from work. The person working the counter told me it happened to lots of other people too. I lost an afternoon and the cost of getting here and back. I will never book any exam at this facility ever again!
Whoever is responsible for responding to these reviews is very unprofessional. I was browsing the reviews to learn about other’s experiences with the medical billing and coding program and saw their response. It was very unprofessional I will look somewhere else to get my certification.
Great place! Everyone who works there is on their game, the ease into enrollment is fantastic. Would highly recommend this school, Ive also been witness to the testing site and honestly i dont see an issue. Everyone has to wear a mask and there is no talking inside the testing room.
Best decision I could make! They walked me through the entire process of getting a grant to pay for my classes and I didnt spend a dime. In less than a month, I started classes and received a free laptop. The instructors are very knowledgeable and make it easy to follow along. Im A+ certified now and working on my next certification. Not only that, I was able to get the perfect job making almost double what I was making before and that works around my difficult schedule from the resources and connections they provided. Theres no way I couldve found this job on my own.
I have a great experience when taking my exam. The check in process was smooth and the staff was very helpful. Great location and clean safe environment.
Great Leadership staff and students. I have worked her for years and love it. We have a great family atmosphere and have changed hundreds of lives.Education is the key to improving your future.
Very insightful class, teaching methods are hands-on to make sure you understand the class material. highly recommended.
I have been trying to get in touch with someone who can help me and I have moved/relocated twice since starting class last April ‘19, I had some really pressing issues going on and my last my computer has been lost for a 2nd time. I’ve been requesting assistance since my arrival almost 2 weeks ago. But my professor/instructor P. Kinard assistsWhere he can I continue to Learn When I can.
I am incredibly disappointed with the Computer Training Institute. I arrived this morning to take a Pearson exam for my National Board Certification- a test that I have studied for for over 10 months. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the employee who said he would get us started on the test early. Great! I will finish early. We began the exam and about 10 minutes later, he came in and said the computers were going to be shut down because the internet was out. He said it would be about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, more people began to show up to take exams. I was in a small room with 8 computers. There were now 8 people waiting to take a test. The employee came back into the room and began logging onto the computer next to me. I asked, is someone going to be sitting here? He said yes. I said, thats not 6 feet apart and he told me it was okay because we had masks on. An hour went by and the internet was still not fixed. Then, some time later, the employee said we could start the test but it might kick us off again. No. I will not take a test under these conditions. The internet went out again a few minutes later while I was waiting for my case report so I can reschedule. The employee had to complete the paperwork on his phone. This is unprofessional, unsafe, and no way to run a business during this difficult time. The director was also walking around the facility without a mask on. It is clear this was about collecting as much money from test takers and not about providing a safe environment in which to take a high stakes exam.
Great place to take a test, the rooms are clean and very quite and the administrator was very helpful, . Great place
What I like most is the classrooms are small, no more than 8 students to a class. You receive individual help if needed, the owner taught my class and is very know his subject and patient. They also offer great student services like lifetime job placement and you are able to retake or review a class.
This school changed my life! I took the business management program through SACM. The Six Sigma Instructor Paul Johnson is absolutely amazing. I learned so much from him. I am going back to my county with more wisdom than I got from my Masters Degree Program. Six Sigma is globally recognized so my Certification will still be valid in my country. Thanks to all of you guys so much!
I believe this place has potential.I was here as a Youth Worker with One Summer Chicago. We learned how to use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Our teacher was wonderful as well! What could have been better is to have another curriculum after we were finished with the class. We spent majority of the last two weeks either being in the classroom watching documentaries and movies, or exploring the city of Chicago. This is not bad, but if I am in a classroom for computer training or graphic design training, I would expect to visit places relating to computers and art.A minor inconvenience for me was the computer mouse. Only my computer mouse needed to be cleaned. I know it was my fault for not speaking out about it but the mouse was still dirty.
Really good school. Paul is so knowledgeable about any class that he may teach. I would recommend this school to anyone.
In January 2019 I enrolled in the Computer Training Institute of Chicago. My knowledge of computer systems and the way they work was minimal but I was eager to learn! CTI offers small classes which is a plus to me, also when needed, my instructor always took the time to break a subject down so I never felt left behind. Despite me having a few months left to achieving my goal, I feel CTI has provided the knowledge and skills needed to obtain a career in the IT field! Computer technology is the future and Chicago Training Institute of Chicago will prepare you for just that!
Great place! Recommend it 100%!
What an amazing school! Great job placement in the technology field! 100% recommend
School is in a great location,in front of art institute of Chicago. Staffs are so friendly and they help you to be successful.I highly re command to upgrade your skills with this school.
Being apart of the photoshop class was fun and informational, the teacher was friendly and gave us time to meet the standards, she didnt pressure us on anything.
Best training institute out there. Great professors and friendly teaching method.
Such an awesome school! Took PMP classes here and I was able to obtain a job shortly after finishing!
Great school. I love the expertise and experienced staff and personnel. Technology is above standard and administration is helpful and professional. It was a great learning experience. Thank you CTIC for everything.
Great programs that focus on real world application of knowledge to increase earning the power of students
This was one of the worst training facilities I have ever experienced, and I was in the military. I used my GI Bill to pay for the Cisco Course which for some reason kept getting rescheduled. The course finally starts after close to a month has pasted from the original start date. The trainer they had was not certified and didnt even know his material. Even worst the desktop computers we were using didnt even have all the required applications needed. I was also promised a laptop which I never received. I stopped going and reported them to VA. In response to the complaint Paul stated I was lying but would issue a refund. VA has not received that refund. Stay away from this place! To clarify he called me a total of 2 times, both I allow to go to voicemail. One to ask me would there be any other classes I would like to register for, not why I havent attend class. The second time was to respond to the VA Complaint telling me how untrue I am and that regardless a refund would be issued. I was fully aware of the attendance policy as I have attended other training facilities in the past but this was the first time I EVER had to report one. I could care less what praises he is getting from others as he did wrong by me! If you want training in Windows Server, ITIL, Cisco, or even PMP for example just go to New Horizons Learning Center and stay away from this place as I have previously stated.
I was in need of certification training to help improve my knowledge and job prospects for the future. I searched around for affordable options and also something that would fit my work schedule. My wife sent me a link to this place and it was too good to be true, the cost for CCNA certification was right up my alley and very affordable. I scheduled a visit on an evening after work and was very impressed by the instructor, Chuck Lay. I asked if he could instruct my class an he was available, so I was all in! So far the experience has been very positive and I am truly learning a lot. And on pace to be prepared to test for my certification soon. I will also be attaining my CCNP once I get certified with CCNA. Paul runs a very efficient institute for the cost and Chuck Lay is one of the best, if not the best instructor one could ask for! CTI Chicago will be my go to for more training and instruction and I would recommend it to anyone who works but also wants to attain certification at an affordable price.
My experience was very similar to Will Turnage and Shadi Beidas. This “school” should be investigated. And I find it interesting how the response to Shadi, is requesting proof and denying he was ever a student. There’s really no way to prove being a student on a Google review, however, I have many emails between myself and Paul Johnson, starting on January 9th, 2018. They mostly consist of Paul making up excuses for everything going completely wrong the entire time I attempted this place. I have an invoice, and I have a schedule, that was never followed. I’ve reported this to the BBB where I, also was accused of never being a student. Clearly, Paul is trying to cover his bases. I’ve sent in my proof, and hopefully something comes of it.I deserve a refund, because this is place is a joke.
From a student perspective relative to, CTIC CompTIA program. The combination of instructor led, visual lectures and hands on labs given from a experienced instructor such as, Andre McDearmon, is everything I look for from an instructor. When you have an engaging family dynamic motivated class thats team orientated, the students win collectively. Witnessing this, I look forward to obtaining, CompTIA A+ which will play a pivotal role in my it career path. If anyone looking to get CompTIA I highly recommend, Mr. McDearmon.
Great environment for learning, small class size which is a plus for me been a while since I been in a classroom🥴professional staff, easy to get to on public transportation. Check them out 😃
Highly professional service and organized syllabus for course. Recommended!!!
The best tech school in Chicago! Im so glad for the service!!!Thank you Paul for the assistance.
All modern facilities available in the training institutes. Amazing school
I really learned a lot about Photoshop from here. The class size was small and the teacher took her time with the material.
Dope school! Took my App & Design skills to anutha level!
My exam was cancelled twice, causing me to miss two half-days of work. The second time, I received the notice via email 87 minutes before the exam was to start. I didnt find out until I got to the center, as I had my notifications off to help clear my head before taking my test.I was dismissed rather unceremoniously, and no assistance was given on-site to help reschedule... Again.Find another testing site.
Great professors. Highly recommended!!!
Do not schedule your tests here. Took 2 exams here and the internet went out both times!
Great School!! #6Sigma
