What a GREAT TOUR! I enjoy biking all by itself but when you add in pizza, beer, and hot dogs what else could one ask for? Julia our guide was a ball of energy and a ton of fun for the whole group. She made all 10 of us feel like a family by the end of the trip.

Had a great Bites Bikes and Brews tour. I felt safe on the roads and enjoyed the sights and food stops. Brook made the tour very enjoyable and was passionate about the city and it’s food. I’ve never done a bike tour before but would recommend it strongly for anybody wanting to catch a bit of the city and a good portion of the lakeside trail.

Greatest way of sightseeing Chicago. Our tourguide Paul was just magnificent. I love traveling and biking, so mixing both of my hobbies was one of the best experiences ever. Took the bikes, bites, and brews experience and had so much fun...plus the beers and food were delicious. Also Paul took some pictures and they were just amazing. I totally recommend this!

The bikes are very upright for a hybrid but comfortable nonetheless. Easy checkin and out. Cool Looking t-shirts to buy. Biked 25 miles in the 4 hours and bike had no issues.

Last minute trip to Chicago, and this ride did not disappoint. Great ride, Jake was our tour guide, and a great storyteller. He kept us on track, even we we came upon a hot wing festival! Fun, informative and safe riding conditions the entire way. When we come back, we’ll book a different ride. Jake, I hope your mom will print this post and put it on the fridge, you did a great job, we had fun!

Having been to Chicago many times, we were looking for something new & different to do. We decided to try a Bobby’s Bike Hike Tour, it did not disappoint! Our guide, Lou, was fun, friendly and informative! We saw so many different parts of the city we’ve never seen before, learned some interesting facts and enjoyed some delicious tastings along the way!! It was a great time!!

This place is amazing. Our tour guide was Jake. A really fun and cool fella who made the tour very interesting and fun as well. The bicycles were in excellent mechanical conditions. The gears changed smoothly all the time, brakes excellent. The pacing was just right.If you want to really enjoy Chicago from the inside and visit the most important and beautiful landmarks, this is the way to do it.TIP: try to arrive other than by car. Parking is difficult to find and its quite expensive.

I booked this for my brother and me at the very last minute. We chose the 5:30 food/beer tour. Bobbys was very communicative and told us that we were going to be the only two on the tour that evening and gave us a few options. We chose to stick with our original reservation and were very glad we did. Our tour guide, Chloe, was awesome! She just did her thing and rocked it out; not caring there were only two of us in tow. Shes very knowledgable about the city as well and had plenty of interesting tidbits to teach us. Food and beer stops were great. It really gave you a taste of local Chicago. For anyone concerned with the difficulty of the ride, it was extremely easy. Our loop was around nine miles with only two or three minor hills. It did rain during our tour. It wasnt a torrential downpour so we just kept going. I personally thought it was an extra bonus and quite enjoyable. All that being said, I would absolutely do it again and recommend that friends do as well!

What a wonderful experience. My first visit to Chicago with limited time yet I came away after five hours with so much information and history not to mention great food and beer reflective of the Windy City. The 5:30 pm tour gives you daylight plus beautiful night light views of the skyline. Julia was the BEST and very attentive to this 70 year old lady!!

This bike tour was the perfect way to see all the best parts of Chicago! Our tour guide, Brooke, was incredibly charismatic, cool & knowledgeable. She gave us background info on the history of each place we biked to, as well as additional recommendations for her favorite restaurants not included in the tour. About a 4 hour, 12-mile ride & it was well worth it!

The bites and brews was am awesome adventure even though I dont drink. Brookes energy and knowledge were simply spectacular and she did a fantastic job getting us around and accommodating us. Would HIGHLY recommend for anyone visiting the area as its a perfect introduction to the city.

We didnt have much time in Chicago so this was perfect: tour of the city + Chicago food staples = perfection! It was 3.4 miles of walking so wear something comfortable! I would highly recommend!

This was a Father’s Day (belated) outing for our family of 4 - including 2 older teenage sons. Perfect fit! Our tour guide Julia was funny, engaging and knowledgeable and she gave us some options among the standard stops. Can’t beat the food: deep dish pizza, hot dogs, and Eli’s cheesecake. We covered 10 miles of the city from the Gold Coast to Buckingham Fountain with stops at Millennium Park and Navy Pier some nice time on the lakefront trail. Great family time in a great city!

This was my first ever guided tour and Im so glad that Brooke led it. She was soo kind, funny and professional. She definitely knows her Chicago history and she presented it to us in a very engaging and interesting way. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would have. This was an amazing first experience!

We had the absolute best time on our bike tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and so fun! We took kids 8-11 years old and they were entertained the entire 3 hour ride. It was such a fun way to see the city! Without a doubt I would recommend this for families touring the city.

LOU - our guide, was fantastic! He was informative, shared just the right amount of info, looked out for our group when navigating city traffic + neighborhoods, and was a ton of fun. A great way to experience areas of Chicago we wouldnt have otherwise known about.Took a star off b/c wed upgraded our West Side Foodie Tour to include the craft beer experience - for $40/person getting two 1/2 chalice and one 6 oz. portion and a piece of chocolate wasnt worth the money at all. Only disappointing part of the experience.

The ease of using this business was amazing. We reserved our bikes online and got there a little late (the parking garage was tight with our SUV, so the struggle was real), but we got there and they had our reservation ready. They gave us a map and some basic rules and instructions and then we were on our way! The shop is conveniently located by the bike trail . We highly recommend this place for your bike needs. It was fast, easy, and very professional.

We did the food and beverage walking tour with our very entertaining guide, Gabe. I got exactly the types of iconic Chicago foods that I hoped for, and he chose just the right places to try them out. It was a nice small group, and Gabe had so much information that was interesting and fun about the history of the town and the sites along the way. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We took the Bikes, Bites, and Brews night tour with Thomas and had a fantastic time! Felt safe on our entire ride and had some great views. Food and drinks were ready as soon as we arrived. Thomas is knowledgeable and so funny and really made the experience that much more enjoyable.

Easy to select products and book online. The location was easy to find and conveniently located. Customer service was nice, but mediocre - not much direction on exactly how to get to the trail (which is on the other side of a highway) and questions about bike trailer were left with a shrug.Our two comfort hybrids were good, although my husband had to fix his chain a couple of times. The pouches at the front were nice for the locks and to put your phone to have it handy.DO NOT rent a baby/kid trailer - the brand they have does not have adjustable straps inside and our 1.5 year olds head was wedged between straps instead of them being on his shoulders (he regularly rides in a trailer at home) - use one of their other options for bringing a kid along.Overall, we would use Bobbys again because of cost and location, but were not super happy with the quality of the equipment.

Had a great four hour tour with our guy Thomas. Bikes, bites and brews was well worth it. We rode at a leisurely pace through Chicago neighborhoods stopping for deep dish pizza, a Chicago dog, and a brownie. Murphy’s bleachers and a lakefront bar where our stops for the bruise. Thomas was friendly and professional. We had a great time and would highly recommend!

We took the walking food tour with Sam and Brooke. We were completely stuffed with pizza, hotdogs and beef sandwich in 3 hours. Sam was energetic and funny, very polite and full of interesting information. Brooke was along for the ride but contributed and was very friendly.We had a great time. We did the bikes, bites, and brew tour for my birthday. It was an incredible value with full size servings of Chicago classic food items like deep dish pizza and Chicago style hot dogs. They also provided a great variety of local beers. Julia as our tour guide was the star of the show. Her positivity, energy, and vast knowledge of the city made the tour even better than any of us expected. She made a rain storm into a fun event at a bar in Wrigleyville. Highly recommend attending any future tours with Julia!

Its called a bike hike but you have the option to do a walking tour which is what we chose. I really enjoyed this tour which was surprising to me because most tours are boring. Our tour guide Nick was great and very knowledgeable about the history of Chicago. He was very engaging and enthusiastic. As we toured the city, we would stop and experience foods that Chicago is most known for. You do plenty of walking so wear comfortable shoes! Overall enjoyed this experience .

It was a great ride through the city. We rode through a lot of neighborhood streets which kept us out of a lot of traffic. The neighborhood streets are heavily shaded which is very nice on a sunny day! The ride along the lakefront is great too!

This was such a fun and perfect trip for our family! Our 3.5 year old was in pull behind wagon and it was a very thrilling time! The sites and stops were very cool and definitely new experience! Highly recommend this trip in the evening!!

Our family rented bikes to spend a day along the lakefront and Bobbys Bike Hike was just what we were looking for. The bikes were very good, reliable, and safe. Rental came with helmets as well. Location was perfect, and the price was reasonable. Very satisfied.

Very friendly staff. Was on a bikepacking trip with the whole family and got a flat and didnt have the right pump, they lent me a pump and purchased a new tube in case my patches didnt hold. Ended up using the tube on a different bike a few days later. They are located super close to Ohio ST Beach and the Lake front bike path.

We had 3 days in Chicago and made the Ultimate Tour our first must do activity. Paul, our fearless and fun loving guide, led us on our amazing 3 hour tour by showing us the highlights of Chicago and sharing the historical events telling the incomparable story of a one of a kind place. Btw, have your camera ready. We hit several “Instagramable” spots and travelled approximately 9 miles. Worth it! And very doable if you are in reasonable shape. Highly recommend if you want to experience the greatness that is Chicago.

Planned for a 1 day rental and switched to a 3 day over the phone with ease. The whole crew was very professional and easy to work with. Best part is the easy access to the Lake Shore bike trail from the business.

Rented 2 bikes for myself and son to ride on the lakeshore. Staff was friendly & helpful; I used their website to rent & received a 10% discount-there’s also a link for discounted parking. Great place to do business with, they also have bike tours and repairs.

We took our family of six to see and taste the highlights of Chicago. They had comfortable bikes for all sizes, even a trailer for our youngest. The food and beer was excellent with soda and cupcake stops for the kids to enjoy as well. Tough to keep up against the wind but we all did it together and had a great day!

The weather was cold and windy (it is after all, Chicago in the winter), but fear not, we covered all the stops enjoying chicago style pizza, local cupcakes, a verifiable Chicago hot dog, and great local beer - 5 stops in all through great North side neighborhoods of Chicago. We stopped at famous Wrigley Field which was a first for me!I enjoy experiential activities that combine history, food and exercise. This tour checked all the boxes.The tour begins at the shed with bikes that are in great condition (tuned thoroughly), easy to ride and include pouches for small items (e.g. umbrella), ponchos if needed for rain, safety vests if you prefer.Ill take the tour again in the summer! Great staff once you get there, but horrible at communicating via email or phone. Coming from out of town and wanted to do some simple preplanning; had to take a leap of faith that they had what we needed.

Best activity to do in Chicago during Covid!!I always say that bicycle is the best way to see a city, and my tour today was absolutely amazing. Babe was so I had fun, and so knowledgeable about everything in the city! There’s so many little things I would have missed out on. The bike ride is easy, very flat. My sister found this place on trip advisor. Had an awesome time on this tour! We did the food and beer tour where we stopped at Lou Malnati’s for a slice of deep dish(best I’ve ever had) a few bars.. one including right across from Wrigleyville, Murphy’s Dog for a Chicago style hotdog( again, best ever! Sad it’s closed now) and Swirlz( for a very good cupcake)Our tour guide was awesome and hilarious. Our group was a fun one. If you want to have a good time and explore Chicago, this is the best way to do it. You definitely get a taste of the city! Pun intended.

Not only did they have the part in stock, they were able to fix it for me in 10 minutes and at a fantastic price!Would highly recommend this business for anything bike-related. Excellent Bike shop! Perfect location, very close to the lake. I rented a Fuji road bike bike. The bike was well tuned and had a very nice ride to it. was able ride in the rain with no problems. The bike shop is very well equipped with most everything needed. You just have show up and they have helmets and locks available. they let you test ride and make any adjustments needed. Im from Colorado and have high expectations when it comes to bikes and bike shops. I highly recommend Bobbys Bike Hike for any serious bicyclist!!
