I was drowning in debt and decided to consider filing bankruptcy. Of course Geraci was a law firm I’ve heard of (if you live in Chicago it’s unavoidable lol). I actually tried to contact others first as I always wanted to support smaller firms. Believe it or not, I didn’t hear back from a few and others I felt were just not professional. After doing research and comparing to another big name firm, I finally contacted PFG. I chose this branch and was given an appointment the same week. This was all pre-pandemic. I met with Wiley and he was very professional, straight forward and walked me through my options. At the time I didn’t qualify for chapter 7, so we filed chapter 13. It was such an easy process. I wished I would have done it earlier. Fast forward a year later and I was laid off and on unemployment due to COVID. I called Geraci and explained my situation, and they said I was eligible to convert my case. They assisted me through the process, and again it was so easy. I had some paperwork to fill out and send. My court case was virtual, and it was all done faster than I thought. They even worked with me on a payment plan for the fee that I had to pay for the conversion. I am paying $100/month for one year then I’ll be all done. I only wish that my student loans could be included but that’s the law and the not law firm. They are easy to contact if you have any questions during and after the process and I highly recommend them.
