Diane is the best! She showed us several units and helped us work out what would be best for our needs. She was knowledgable, kind, and super helpful. We had just come from a terrible experience at a different company and she showed us how storage business should be done. We are so pleased with the ease of access to our unit, the cleanliness, and the size/price! Highly recommend.

I rented from the facility for around two years. The staff is wonderful to deal with, very friendly. Large perk is that you have access to their moving truck whenever youd need it. Easy access into the building, and the facility is very clean. Highly recommended

When searching for storage spaces, I was happy to find Chicago Northside Storage. They offered affordable rates compared to other storage units. Sometimes that means fewer frills, gruff service or dingy quarters. Not at C.N.S!Diane greeted me with a smile (or so it seemed under her mask) and a helpful attitude. She patiently showed me a number of available units so i could make a decision that was right for me. It seems like Diane really cares about the satisfaction of her tenants!We were able to use their truck to gather all of our items and load up our unit. We just had to fill up the gas which came to under $3. How convenient!! They also offer a free lock (with 2 keys), 5 free boxes and one roll of tape.The whole team at Mission 2 Organize is happy to have such a friendly storage space in a central location right off the interstate to hold all of our organizing supplies!

Great and responsive customer service. I’ve rented three different units with them over 6+ years, and whether in-person, over email, or on the phone, their response time is quick but more importantly helpful. Any question I had was answered quickly, when I had to move units it was seamless, and every person I worked with had a great attitude and I felt like they truly cared about treating me right as a customer. For example, I just had to close my account, but did so a day after my autopay for the upcoming month had posted - rather than standing on policy (knowing I wasn’t renting with them going forward) and saying there was nothing they could do, without me asking they reversed the charge. But that was consistent with every interaction I had with them over 6+ years, and I highly recommend.

I’m a brand new customer and didn’t have a great experience with my move in/paperwork signing. There was serious confusion about the promos I had reserved my unit with and what was currently being offered. Customer experience at this initial interaction wasn’t pleasant, however after I posted a review on here the Regional Manager did call and apologized for what happened and explained that the promotion I reserved with should have been honored without question. Very nice customer service experience with Eric (regional manager). Very much appreciated this interaction. I have high hopes that my use of this storage unit goes better than my initial interaction based on my convo with Eric.

Chicago Northside storage-Lakeview helped make my move as stress free as possible. Everyone was extremely helpful both over the phone and in person! We used their free truck and they showed us exactly where the storage unit was as well as gave recommendations for getting to the facility. The cost was waayyy less than anticipated since they worked with us because we used the unit for less than a week. If I ever need storage in the area again I will go to them.

They have great 24 access facilities just like the big guys but they have the friendly, flexable, affordable service you can only get from a small local business!Dian is an angel! She helped get me what my roommate and I needed to sign up and move in FAST since we had a deadline to get out of our old place and in to our new one. She even worked with me to get a promo discount even though I wasnt staying the whole month!! When I went to move out my movers left my lock on my unit, instead of charging me for the extra days Jeremy helped me check out without charging me for the month of July!!! ---- Simple but a much appreciated courtesyFrom someone who knows, moving comes with moving parts... a lot of them. I never thought Id be writing this about a storage facility, but I was actually a little sad to finally move out of this location because it is such a friendly, efficiently run business. Competitive prices and a clean, safe, accessibly space.

What you’d expect from a storage place. Only issue was they forgot to unlock my unit when I first rented it so my move was delayed. But they do give you 5 free boxes. Which helps ;)

I had some furniture delivered to the storage facility thinking I would be in town to unload it and put in my storage area only to find out it was coming in on the weekend I was going to be out of town.I called up the facility and talked to Marty and he said no problem that he would unload it for me and hold it until I got back in to town. How nice was that, so accommodating he was. So when i finally got back into town I went over to pick up furniture that was delivered and Pamela was there and knew all about it. She showed us where it was stored. It took us about one hour to move it. Realizing it took Marty that much time I went to tip him and Pamela and they wouldnt take anything for their time!On top of that you get free boxes, tape and truck. I would highly recommend them.

Stored my things there for over a year safely. Only complaint is that while they say they are climate controlled, it seemed like the unit was very cold when I picked up my things so I dont think they have any heat during the winter.

OK. I live in China, yeah, as in a real long way from Norhside. When I am in Chicago. I usually to stop at the storage unit. The owners have been more than helpful, every time I show up, from huge things (like lost keys) to advisin me pack my life into a a five by seven foot space to just being the kind folk you like sharing a cuppa joe with.

We have used Northside Storage for several years. The units are clean, parking is inside and easy and the customer service is outstanding.
