I go to this location for small fixes such as oil changes, tire repairs, things of the liking. Visited today due to having a wooden screw in one of my tires. The gent running the main desk greeted me, and was quick at addressing the reason for my visit. Repair took about 25-30mins and cost $30. The mechanic Steve was also quite helpful in answering a quick question of mine while also making sure that my tires were secure before i pulled off. That was a nice measure.

I was told 3 different times pertaining to when my car would be ready. I only needed tires replaced. I understand waiting for service but I was told I was 3rd in line to get my tires replaced when I got there at 10am. I just left at 430pm. So they changed a total of 12 tires in 6 1/2 hrs🤔. If you want transparency you wont find it here, but the excuses are plentiful.

THIS LOCATION HAS WORKED ON TWO OF MY CARS. I WILL ADMIT THE FIRST OCCASION WITH MY DODGE MAGNUM DIDNT START OFF WELL. HOWEVER, THEY RECTIFIED THE SITUATION AND WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM WHICH I REALLY APPRECIATED! **BECAUSE OF THAT, I TRUSTED THEM WITH MY DODGE CHALLENGER. NOT ONLY DID THEY DO MY BRAKES AND ROTORS IN A TIMELY FASHION BUT THEY SOLVED THE ISSUE WITH MY TIRE WHICH TWO DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS SAID MY ENTIRE CHROME WHEEL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THAT PERSONALLY SAVED MY AT LEAST $6-800$. GREAT WORK. THANKS! WILL TRUST AGAIN WITH MY VEHICLES.

I got there about 7:15 today they pulled my car in the guy that was at the front desk was very nice very pleasant with a smile. Service was spectacular.

Couple years ago I had work done. I paid over $1000 for work they claimed to have done, but months later I found myself paying another shop for the exact same things. They are unprofessional. The man that runs the place is rude and he’s getting over on people.

I came in to get a get a patch on one of my tires.....as Im paying for the service (after waiting over an hour), the manager tells me that since l have 16k miles on my car, l should consider getting all new tires.....l finished paying and got out of there ASAP. They can scam someone else...l wont be back! Im going to the dealership from now on.

Check Engine light was on. They supposedly repaired my car changing sensors. Charged me $520.00 knowing that it was something else causing the issue. Took my car back to them to tell them check engine light was still on. They then told me I needed a timing belt. The mechanic himself told me he communicated this information to James, the guy charged me $520 for sensors of which I did not need. They put the wrong oil in my car and not enough oil. My car take 5w 30. The mechanic put 5W20. I had to go and have that oil removed and correct oil put in so as not to have troubles with my engine. They are not to be trusted.

Abdul is not culturally aware of the community in which he services and needs to understand diversity of coming into the neighborhood. He didnt speak upon me or anyone else entering the business; just stared as everyone approached the counter.. It took 2 hours for me to be told that a sensor would cost 150.00 to be put on and he didnt even move my car from the spot I parked it in front of the shop??? Long story short I took it to D&Gs an it cost me $90.00. Save your hard earn dollars an take it some where else.

Listen. These guys are the best. I got a flat tire thanks to the lovely Chicago construction. The shop didnt have my tire in stock so the manager drove to go get a tire for my car instead of making me wait until the next day. Thats some next level service and it is beyond appreciated. I live an hour away from the shop, but Im going back to this shop to get the rest of my tires replaced because the service was that good.

I would definitely recommend for people NOT to get their car serviced here! The Manager Abdul is Completely unprofessional and has poor business practices. I have had my car serviced here 5 times within this year only to find that they never informed me of oil leaking from somewhere under my engine. Instead the mechanics completed oil changes, changed brakes and rotors, completed air conditioning work, and changed my battery. At no point during all these visits did they say anything about my engine. I had to go somewhere thinking I was getting an alignment for a new mechanic to tell me how my car had serious leak. Keep in mind I had just had an oil change 2 weeks prior and not a word from Good Year staff about this leak. When I spoke to the Manager about these issues instead of him saying sorry about the lack of attention to my car. He tells me that they thought I knew about the leak. How professional right! What Manager tells a customer this?! Then the mechanic who performed the oil change admitted to me that he saw the issue and failed to tell me. When I asked for the corporate contact information the Manager Abdul didn’t want to give it to me. When I asked for the head person over him. He didn’t want to give this information to me either. I asked for my oil change money back and Abdul said no. I called head quarters of Good Year and they reported this location as independent dealer that is only authorized to sell their tires.This place does not care about making sure peoples car’s are taken care of. They take your money! The Manager himself said he does what the customer says is wrong. As a mechanic the consumer expects you to tell them the Issues to fix. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD WORKING MONEY AT THIS PLACE.

I have purchased new tires and replaced a cracked rim on my BMW here. Both times I was treated with the utmost amount of costumer service. I was even given a ride back to my house while the work was being completed. I highly recommend this business

Thursday, August 15, 2019, I woke up to a flat tire and decided to contact Goodyear Car Care (located at 1818 E 87th St Chicago, IL 60617) at about 7:48 AM since I have the Just Tires/Goodyear warranty on my tires, and this location was closest to where I live. When I called I was transferred to a gentleman who I believe was the manager of the site. I explained I had a flat and wanted to confirm they would honor the warranty. The first thing the gentleman said was, let me ask the obvious, why dont you just go back to just tires. This statement threw me for a complete loop, but I kept my composure and stated, obviously, this location is closest to me and I have a flat tire. From there, the gentleman went on to tell me how theyre not going to give me four new tires and would only replace the tire that needed to be replaced. I explained I already knew this, and I was not requesting a new set of tires, I just wanted my flat fixed. From there, the gentleman stated he is sure he doesnt have my tire in stock. At this point, I became completely frustrated, and stated, you dont even know what type of car I have to say you dont have my tire in stock. How about I tell you the type of car I have then you check your inventory to confirm whether or not you have my tire in stock. I provided the gentleman the make and model of my car, and he placed me on hold for less than a minute and came back and stated he did not have my tire in stock.The employees behavior was very rude and unprofessional. He acted as if he did not want business at all. The recording for the line stated the calls are all recorded, so I hope someone can review the call and coach him on professionalism because though I live close to this location, I dont ever see myself doing business here because of this phone conversation.

Brought my car there about 4 weeks ago, to use the fuel cleaner serivce, was the first person there at 630am.Another customer a middle aged woman had a honda accord and needed brakes repaired all around. She brought donuts & coffee for the staff and was immediately moved ahead of me. Later, i learned shes a Chicago police officer who knows the staff. And Abdullah informed me. (REALLY)??When i brought this to (Abdullah) attention he justified for the woman and said shes a regular customer and then apologized tohy me, and said hell address this to the staff.When the original owners had the place, it was ran professional and fairly. Sad, will never use them again, and will inform the neighborhood and alderman. horrible service!

I came here simply because of a Groupon that I had purchased. I did a walk-in and was told that I could do appointment only...which is understandable. I called a week later to make an appointment and I asked for a 9:30AM & was told they only had a 9:00AM appointment. Due to traffic I was late by 10 minutes. I get there and wasn’t checked into their system and was asked to sit and wait for assistance. I didn’t receive assistance until another customer who’s appointment time was after mine was being seen at 9:27AM 😳 I asked how much longer did I have to wait to be seen. They tell me they have to wait on the two other people who’s appointment time was WAY after mine!!! I didn’t know there’s a first come first served when it came to APPOINTMENTS!!! What’s the point of telling me that I had to make an appointment when I was a walk in. Clearly people like myself think Appointment times are just that...an appointment. They told me I would’ve had to wait another 30-40 minutes before my car received the service. I refuse to support a business who can’t even be organized with their company. Don’t over book yourself if you don’t have the coverage! 🙄🤷🏽‍♀️ SIMPLE! I won’t recommend you going here if you have other things to do for the day. I wouldn’t even recommend to even do business with them. They couldn’t even make it right by asking if I would like to come back at another time. Just all terrible and their customer service sucks!

This place is great. Needed some new tires and a wheel alignment. Made a last minute call over the phone and Rahi (Ra something .... lol please forgive me) placed an order for them to be delivered the same day and gave me a time to be there. So there I was. I arrived to receive absolute Great Customer Service from his brother Abdul(owner) and James. While i waited, I learned a little history about Goodyear and Johnny Mack Brown, The first African American Goodyear Dealer in the Country. I was in and out! Not to mention this place was remarkably clean, well lit and refreshing for a tire shop. I made them aware and now im telling you. Really impressed! and Ill be going back for all my car need. Im not sure if youre supposed to be friends with your mechanic, but I am with mine. I have a 2001Honda Accord with 190K miles on it, so theyve seen me plenty of times. From brakes, to batteries, to oil changes, to most recently replacing my front axel, they keep me rolling at the right price. Until the wheels fall off, this is where Im going to get all my work done.

I previously left a review that I am now updating. I had purchased a groupon for a full synthetic oil change. When it was entered into the computer, there were 3 different kinds of engines. The man had clicked on the top box and had charged me $13.99 extra for a quart of synthetic oil. My car actually takes 5.1 qts of oil (had clicked on wrong engine). After I left, I became upset because I looked in my manual and it said 5.1 qts and not six like I was charged. The man did end up calling a subaru dealership and confirmed my engine is 5.1 qts of oil, so I was issued a refund.When I went back today to receive the refund, the man was very concerned with my negative review that I had left yesterday. I am still not happy with my service though and here is why....1. I waited 40 minutes while watching another mechanic outside talking with someone who had pulled up for that entire amount of time. When he was done, I saw him come inside and say something. They did not have my oil filter that my car needed. He then went to get it. After he returned my car was done in 10-15 minutes. Im upset that I had to sit there and wait while this man was just talking to a friend for 40 minutes when I could have easily went and bought one.2. They over inflated my tires. My front is supposed to be 33psi and my rear is 32psi. Both driver tires were 36psi and my passenger tires were 38psi. I went to Jiffy Lube to have them fix my tires.While the man was very nice, I felt he wouldnt listen to me when Im telling him about the guy outside for 40 minutes talking. The man during that time was in the office talking with two other guys. I just felt that I can get better service elsewhere especially when I normally paying $75 for a synthetic oil change.

Today is Thursday, I took my car to Goodyear on Tuesday to have a pipe changed, I was told on Wednesday that I could pick my car up on Thursday morning, get there on Thursday and still not ready. Very unprofessional.

Horrible business. Took my moms car here for an oil change, that they didnt do. They put a hole into the cars tire and claimed that it was like that before i bought the car in. They basically tried to get over on me by ruining the tire so i would be forced to purchase a new one.
