They will find the best possible price for whatever you need ( i had an a/c compressor replacement) and the price was very reasonable!! Im a long time customer of Woodlawn Auto. Sam & Jay are both attentive to my vehicles needs. I ride a lot in my work so I am getting oil changes often. They help me stay in top of that. This last visit was replacing a side view mirror (which they sent got painted) even b4 replacing it. That did my rear brakes. All was done reasonably priced & expeditiously. I and many others waited out in the cold for them to open up on January 2nd...wish they would have had a sign that they were closed because on the internet it stated they were opening at 8 and I had to have my car towed there and I had to get a second tow to take it somewhere else. I sat in my cold car for an hour in half. What a way to start 2021

The guy that answered the phone is very rude brought my car there a few weeks ago after leaving my car for a few days I called to find out about the status and again they were just completely rude my family members complained about the same thing warned me about them I wanted to give them a chance but I was very disrespected n disappointed.

I’m trying to see if this is the same jay that worked at autonolog on 102nd western with Ed if so they do good work but I had one bad experience with autonology I felt they where overcharging me for a part but we worked it and went back to them they must do good work is packed all the time unlike repair shop on 95 th Indiana griffin auto repair watch them never see any cars at that shop maybe Woodlawn auto should make appointments only repairs unless car is towed in maybe customers will understand better

Rear end went out on my SE 15 Charger. They fixed it for $1200 for a used one. I have not had any problems yet with it. They told me it was from me having a heavy foot. Cool. I thought it was the transmission. I installed line lock and it was probably due to me doing great burnouts and doughnuts. Been taking it easy on the car ever since out the shop. Thanks for the work. Really wish you all gave government and civil service discounts. I have 3 more years on it. Come on 2021!

I dont dislike this place thats where I take my car for repair but I think they have to many cars to work on but not enough help.

Experience is everything when dealing with a business & mines was horrible to say the least dealing with this auto shop, i took my car to them for a power steering leak with slight knowledge of what the problem was as maybe everyone does when dealing with auto repair shops to avoid getting overcharged rite.... so long story short they didnt repair the problem so i had to bring it back at this point the cashier/ owner tells me thats not what i paid for & it would cost more to repair it properly now mind you whatever patch work they did it didnt hold up & he still argued with me for 20 min about repairing the problem that still wasnt repaired, from my experience which is not the first might i add my mother brought her car to them years back with an anti freeze leak they told her she needed a new engine no lie & all she needed was a water pump 😫

I miss the days when the dad was in the shop. I do think they take on more than they can handle. Just have to catch them on good day. My last experience, it days for them to even look at my car. Then when I do get it back the problem remained. They are willing to fix the problem but you want your car fixed the first time around. I miss the good old days. Just wanted to see if they were having the same issues, guess they are by the reviews.

Hands down best experience at a shop! We all hate having to visit the mechanic but these guys check your car and tell you exactly what your car needs, they don’t try to push unnecessary repairs but will let you know what it needs and break it down to what repairs should be done together if you can’t afford all of them. In my case I couldn’t afford all the repairs. So he prioritized my repairs into three I had them do the first repair and I can’t believe how better my car is driving already! I definitely will be back to have the rest of the work done in two weeks . Thank you guys so much! Great job!!!

They had my car for hours for a diagnostics and it was never touched. I did not receive a call for an update nor did I receive an apology when I came to get my car that had not been serviced. There are two guys at the front counter one of them is very nice, however, the other one acts like you are disturbing him. The place is clean but it is packed with vehicles. It seems like they take more than they can handle and they neglect to let their customers know that.

Horrible service I took my 2006 buick lacrosse up there a couple of days ago😒 literally smh... paid $70 just for them to give me false information. My car was continuously overheating even after I exhausted all other option except a #NewRadiatior. Woodlawn autocare proceeded to tell me that I needed another motor for $1900 . Mind you I dont have a check engine light or electrical issues that would prevent the check engine light from coming on. Dont trust them!! A waste of money but a lesson well learned.. If you do go here my best advice is to get a second opinion no matter what they tell you . My mechanic is highly dependable !! 48 hours car hasnt overheated yet 😊😊😊

I call the shop, to ask could they do some work on my car, i have the parts, a thermostat and a water valve,Jay told me they couldnt do it, because they did not order them and it wouldnt be under warranty unless they bought them, the same parts, i purchase from Nissan they would have to call Nissan and purchase the same item whats the difference I dont get it?
