Beginning with the initial consultation and extremely detailed list of recommendations, I was overly impressed with Steve’s knowledge and insight. Installation was amazing and expertly done. Always responsive, informative, and super easy to work with. I couldn’t recommend Williams Home Theater enough. Easily the best home theater option in Chicago. I would not even consider going with anyone else for future projects. If you value your home theater and home entertainment this is the smartest decision you can make.

I had an excellent experience with Williams Home Theater. We moved into a house that was pre-wired with an extraordinarily complicated whole house AV system. After contacting Steve he came to the house promptly for a consultation. He was very thorough and honest in his suggestions on what needed to be done (and more importantly what didnt). He also quoted a very reasonable price. I subsequently got a second quote from a competitor who made things overly complicated/involved and quoted a price nearly 10x higher than Steve. I not surprisingly went with the Williams quote and am thrilled with the results. We accomplished exactly what we needed without any unecessary add-ons. I will not hesitate to use Williams in the future and I HIGHLY recommend anyone else should do the same

Steve was amazing. The work was flawless and both our home theater and outside patio area is spot on for sound. So the work was awesome. On top of that, Steve was extremely professional, priced very competitively and punctual. He also recommend stuff we could look to add in the future but did not force or strong arm me into doing it now. He is awesome. My sister is a realtor and was here when he installed. We had our 75 TV mounted and our in wall speakers and Sonos system installed by Steve a few months ago. We got a few different quotes and ended up going with Steve. His prices were fair and his estimate on how long the job would take was quite accurate. He was punctual and knowledgeable. We had no complaints and would recommend Steve to our friends.

Steven with Williams Home Theater was great. It turns out the mounting arm I bought wasnt suitable for the steel studs that are in my apartment. Im sure many other installers would have thrown it up on the wall anyway and hoped for the best, but Steven gave me an in-depth explanation and recommendations on some other mounting brackets. Ill be doing my research and will hopefully will have him come back out to get the TV up on the wall.

Ive had two great experiences with Steve from Williams Home Theater. The first time, we hired him to install a flat screen on the wall, which he did in record time! He also helped set up the SMART TV features along with a few other tech things. The price was also great! The second time, we hired him to install a Samsung curve onto a universal TV mount. My husband tried to install but the screws were not working. I told Steve our problem and he said if he could not mount it, he would not charge us. He brought along a large case of screws and did some research online to problem solve what was going on. Sure enough, Steve found the solution and was able to mount and program our TV in under 30 minutes!!! We will always use Steve for our TV installation needs!

Steve was fantastic. He helped me run some ethernet cable to finish up our home networking- which ended up requiring some creative problem solving due to the nature of this aging house. He also made recommendations, purchased speakers, and executed a fantastic 5.1 surround system for us. This entailed fishing cables, embedding flush-mount speakers, and performing the tweaks to my receiver.Yelp suggested I send my request-for-quote to a few local businesses- and everyone replied and offered to discuss the project. Steve, however, gave me a time that worked for him, and asked if he could possibly meet me at my place to see the job. He took pains to make it easy to say yes.I had suggested to Steve that I could be talked into a new 7.1 system, but he was quick to recommend against it: the size of the room simply wouldnt have received any benefit from the more expensive setup. At that moment, I was relieved that he was scrupulous and honest- Im absolutely prone to scope creep with my electronic projects, and Im sure he could have talked me into going whole-hog on a huge system if hed tried.Further, though he suggested merely plugging the cable directly into the speakers and receiver for reasons of signal fidelity, he didnt bat an eye when, on the day of installation, I brought out some keystone plates and banana jacks (I like the feeling of a finished plate on the wall). He took the plates, mounted them with the proper drywall-mounted backplanes, and didnt charge extra for the change.The quality of the work was fantastic, and the end product is exactly what I wanted. But, even so, the factor that will stick in my memory is Steves attitude, professionalism, and enthusiasm. Hell be my first call the next time I have any audio/visual projects.

Williams Home Theater is by far and away the best company I have ever hired to do anything around our home. Steve answered the phone on the first ring when I called to inquire about mounting a flat screen TV above our fireplace. He was professional and offered suggestions to issues we were having with our WI-FI service as well. He showed up to the consultation appointment on time. He e-mailed me immediately after the consultation with an outline of the project and included links to products he recommended. Steve showed up early on the date of the appointment and worked quickly. He hustles, which is a rarity these days. In the end, the job exceeded my expectations. I am very pleased with the outcome, and will contact Steve again in the future should the need arise.

I hired Steve to do the sound system for my whole house, so this was no small project. His wiring work was excellent, he was great help with the planning, he made excellent suggestions, helped me purchase equipment at a discount, and went above and beyond for service, even fixing a cable that got damaged in construction. It was so easy to work with him and an absolute pleasure.

First off, they came out on a Saturday to do the work on short notice...love that! The guy who came out all three visits, Steve, was so knowledgable and professional it really put me at ease. He mounted 3 TVs for us, one was tricky in a cabinet shaving unt made specifically for the TV size. He helped me and the carpenter design it and then came back today to finish it all up and setup the devices including getting everything on the Internet! I loved working with this company!

Steve did such an amazing job with mounting our TVs! We have had mounting done in the past by a contractor but Steves work has caught everyones attention that has come to our home. He is very professional, has a great personality and very fair and competitive pricing. Steve mounted 5 TVs, 3 shelves, and 2 sound bars for us. He made sure to work with me to see exactly how I wanted the set up to be for each room and he captured my vision perfectly! He even synced all of our devices and ensured everything worked properly!
