Patrick has been our “guy” since we bought an older home a little over a year ago. He is incredibly responsive, professional, and helpful. He and Lazaro have replaced our water heater, furnace, and AC over the past year and have done a few bouts of maintenance and check on our dryer. Even with small questions we weren’t sure about — like capping a gas line after we removed an old oven the previous owners left — Patrick was quickly responsive and helped us out. Definitely recommend!!

Patrick and Lazaro did an outstanding job replacing our evaporator coil and installing a new compressor. They came in after another company botched the job, sold us things we didnt need, and pushed us toward replacing our whole unit. The guys from Always There are not sales-focused but rather they are service-focused, highly competent, and most importantly, honest. I wish we would have called them first. We owned a condo in Lincoln Park for several years and used Patrick for all of our HVAC issues. Communication was easy, and he was willing to coordinate his visits with our tenants. This was appreciated as we live out of town. It was nice having a go-to guy for this stuff.

Patrick showed up when promised and was so thorough. The situation needed a plumber but instead of just telling me to call a plumber, he called one he knew while still on-site that could deal with the issue to explain what was going on and make the introduction. Very impressive!

Always There performed an annual check on my furnace before winter. My technician, Pat, was on time, courteous and professional. He was very efficient in performing the 30 point check, changed my humidifier pad and cleaned up when he was finished. He made sure he wore shoe booties when he came in my house. This job was also reasonably priced. Technician was great, I will use this company again.

I was referred to Patrick by an HVAC company in the suburbs. Patrick quickly diagnosed the fault code on our water heater and came back the next day to install the new part. I did a little of my own diagnosing and research so I had a good idea of the possible repairs needed which matched what Patrick said. I didn’t feel I was oversold. He was good at contacting me with his ETAs and he was clean and polite. 5 stars from me.

If I could give 6 stars I would! I had a wonderful experience with this company. My furnace broke down while I had family in town and I frantically looked for companies on the internet. Patrick was the only one to answer my call. He promptly was able to get out to my house the same day and fixed my furnace within an hour! What a blessing. Patrick was very very nice and he taught me things about my furnace I never knew before. They have gained a life long customer!!!!

Patrick came out to my tenants apartment to fix their furnace that wasn’t working. Naturally the heat went out on the coldest night thus far and the pipes were already freezing. Patrick was extremely knowledgeable and was able to find the issue within just a few minutes and actually had the part we needed on in his work van. Furnace was up and running before any pipes burst. I cannot express how extremely grateful I am for the quality service I was provided. They will have my business forever!

Patrick, the owner, came to fix the ice maker and water dispenser on my LG fridge - he was early and solved my issue quickly - he new exactly what was wrong - I will definitely use their service again!

They were able to get to our condo within 2 days of contacting them about our ice maker being broken. They assessed and made a repair, which did not fix the issue. The technician followed up with me a few hours after leaving, and when he learned it wasn’t working he was back the next day and replaced all the parts free of charge. Their follow up and service were first class.

Superb experience with them. Fast response and reasonably priced. The guys that came out to fix my stove were super friendly ( i was worried that some slob named Bob was going to show up and give me the hebejebes). They showed me what was wrong and presented an option that I thought was fair. Would totally recommend.

All went well, they were on time at the early end of the window I was given. Once the reason for the problem was found (parts needed to be ordered) I was shown a work around until the repair was made. They worked around me nu-like many that would not (kind of like a take it or leave it). When the parts were in I was called and a time set. As before they arrived at the early side of the window I was given. Would I use them again? Absolutely without question..

Unfortunately had a very bad experience with Patrick (company owner).Long story short is that he charged me $700 for two separate repairs on a washer that left it in worse condition than when he first showed up.He changed out the belt ($300) and then the washers motor ($400) only to then tell me that the washer needed a new transmission (too expensive to repair).I would have been much better off simply buying a new one from the get go. Based on what happened one of two things is true:1) Patrick doesnt have the technical capability to determine what the proper repair is and has to charge a customer hundreds of dollars before he can properly diagnose the root cause of the problem2) Patrick knew the root cause the entire time and was simply trying to maximize his profitPatrick never offered me any type of compensation for either one of these repairs, neither one of which fixed my washers issues and I just had to spend several hundred dollars for a new washer.I will not be using Patrick in the future for any appliance repairs and would not recommend him to anyone.

I had a great experience with Patrick and AJ. They were both very kind and showed up around 10am, when my appointment window was 10-12pm. Both Patrick and AJ were kind, professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help me. They checked the vents, helped fix leaks, and repaired the AC unit. I cant thank them both enough for their hard and fast work. Thanks boys! If I ever need anything else fixed in the future, Ill be calling you!

This company has exhibited a severe lack of professionalism. Their communication after being paid is subpar at best. Four weeks and three appointments after this all began, my washing machine is in the exact same state as was when we started.The problem started with an error code on my washing machine indicating a temperature sensor needs to be replaced. I pass along the error code to ATAR, and we schedule a repair.The first appointment- I was told by the repairmen that the sensor was bad, and they replaced it. Within 10 minutes of the repairmen leaving, the same error code, and one other error code, both go off. I attempted to text and call their scheduling number, no response from either. I text the cell phone number the repairmen called me when they arrived at my front door, no response.Second appointment- The repairmen could not replicate the error. Without doing any diagnostic work aside from turning the machine on and running it, they tell me the machine must be fine and not to worry about the error codes that were displaying. After doing one load of laundry, the error code occurs again.Third appointment- Although my repair history clearly states that it requires two men to move the dryer on top on top of my washing machine, one repairman was sent out. I offered to help move the dryer but was told that another repairman was in the area, so they would come back together later in the afternoon to finish my repair.While leaving, he told me that I would receive a text to confirm, the techs being sent back out later in the afternoon. None was sent, so an hour and a half later (4:45) I text the scheduling confirmation number looking for confirmation, no response (they close at 6). I called their business line (same number) twice before 6, no answer and not reply to the voicemail I left.The repairman also told me that he needs to test the motherboard as when an error code appears again after the sensor is replaced, it is likely the motherboard. Ok, so when I told them that the original code, and another error code, both displayed again after the first appointment, then why did they not perform a diagnostic on the board the second time they were out? Or any form of diagnostics test on the first visit?Follow-up conversations resulted in the business manager lying about conversations they claimed their repairmen had with me, implausible excuses as to why they did not contact me when their repairmen no showed, and a partial reimbursement offer. This is in no way a reasonable response given my washing machine is still in the exact state it was when they started working on it; I am now out of pocket due to their lack of ability to repair my washing machine correctly.The attached snippet of our text thread sum up the class and integrity of this company perfectly.
