I suffered an injury that wouldn’t allow me to walk. I had a friend bring medication over. Paola Oveida was nice enough to bring the medicine up to my door. That is going above and beyond her responsibilities. She helped a resident in need and I am truly grateful for her thoughtfulness. In general she is a very nice person. She always greets residents with a smile and a hello.

Zeekeenat Cole is genuinely helpful. She aims high and makes a difference here at Del Prado. She greets everyone by name and handles all the front desk duties with professionalism. She is friendly and presentable with outstanding peoples skills. Overall, she provides residents with outstanding residential service and support.

I had ongoing issues with a leak in one of my bedrooms for 3 months. There was mold growing on the wall from the leak and the bedroom of course could not be used once that was noticed. No one took my ticket updates/phone calls serious until I spoke with Ruth, at the referral of Chandra. Chandra patiently listened to my concerns and told me the best point of contact would be Ruth. She was spot on! I spoke with Ruth around noon on a Monday, Tuesday morning maintenance came to identify the problem, the leak was repaired by that afternoon and the wall was repaired Thursday. I dont how Ruth did it, but Im glad she did. Before when I would call to request more urgent attention to these issues, employees were like robots reciting notes in the ticket, while also blaming the pandemic and the weather. Not actually listening to my problem and doing anything to help resolve it. Im now a happy resident again and extending my lease, thanks to Ruth and Chandra.
The place re-designed what used to be a hotel, so it comes with a big lobby and a study lounge (large, sturdy wooden tables with free Wifi). Some amazing perks:1. Bus No. 6 that goes downtown along the Michigan Ave stops right in front of Del Prado. Roughly takes 30 minutes to get there! Other buses stop here too.2. Concierge open 24/7 (Pathelia at the front desk is very kind and sweet!)3. Amazing jogging routes nearby (along the shoreline or to the Promontory Point)

The front desk service at Deprado is exceptionally outstanding! Very pleasant and friendly always helpful and patient. Danielle has a great personality and is always professional and helpful no matter what time of the day!
Tamia is very rude and she’s not a people person, I was here visiting my daughter and don’t smile she’s have a very smart mouth and my experience with her wasn’t good at all.
Desk management overall is excellent. Chandra, in particular, is an absolute breath of fresh air. She kicks the moodiness right out of me every morning I walk past the front desk. Whether we get the chance to greet each other or not - I feel Chandras warmhearted spirit and joy for life through her interactions with other tenants. You are appreciated and loved! I just moved into my apartment a few days ago, and I already love it so much! The staff at MAC has been so helpful, especially Jasmine who has answered me and my fiancé’s 2947 questions. The staff at the front desk have been very welcoming and kind and the building is super clean and well maintained!Our apartment is super spacious and has so much storage, and when we moved in it was so clean, I was surprised someone had lived in here before us. The kitchen is also incredible and there is so much counter space I don’t know what to do with it all! Also, the apartments are very quiet and honestly sometimes it feels like we are the only people who live here. The location is also really great and close to a lot of shops and restaurants.The only thing I don’t like/understand is why there is a ceiling fan and AC in the living room but not the bedroom. The bedroom gets really stuffy and hot because of this, but thankfully we brought a tower fan with us. Also, often times I have smelled weed which is kind of annoying but I just spray room spray and it’s fine. Overall I am VERY happy living here and feel very lucky to have snagged one of these apartments.
Maintenance staff is fantastic. Very quick turnaround time (less than 24 hours). Our maintenance guy, Jose Arroyo, was very professional and did completed our maintenance requests quickly and even replaced a pair of broken blinds within a few hours.
Ken saved my grocery delivery! Amazon delivered to the wrong building and Ken flagged down the driver just before he pulled off! Thanks Ken for saving me a huge headache!
I only have one concern. Our windows are filthy. I was told this would be taken care of this season. I hope so. Other than that one concern, I am very satisfied with the Del Prado Apartment’s. The front desk is most helpful and are always cordial. The tenth floor hallways are kept very well. Thank you.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. So many problems starting with wafer-thin walls coupled with Airbnb guests as your neighbor. Thats right. AIRBNB. Zencity that owns many rooms in this apartment and rents them out through Airbnb is a corporate contracted customer of Mac.Whether you get a good nights sleep depends on that days Airbnb guests next door. You will wake up at 3am or wont be able to sleep until 5am, but dont rely on Mac to solve those problems. Theyll tell you to use ear plugs or sleep aide or move at your own cost and that youre prone to noise.I see a lot of good reviews for the staff at front desk, which I agree, but those staff dont enhance your quality of sleep or any other living experience.

One name: Chandra Lee... this sweet lady makes walking into The Del Prado inviting and peaceful. From the moment I stepped foot in my new apartment building, Ms. Lee has definitely made sure my stay here has been pleasant and stress less.
My review is not for the building, which has a fantastic location, is in fairly good condition and serviced by wonderful security guards and maintenance staff. I stayed at Apt. number 1013, managed by ZENCITY, one week on June 2020. The condition of the apartment could not have been more disgusting and disappointing. ZENCITY claims their guests health and safety to be their priority, and that they clean and disinfect the units after every stay. They have this claim posted in the kitchen cupboard, and it is false. Here is a detailed explanation as to why:Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed was dirt on the floor. We swept it. The whole floor was covered in dust and hair, and even three hard-to-miss pennies. See pic.Upon closer inspection, we noticed grime on the bathroom sink; the interior of the fridge unclean and an open bottle of hot sauce left inside; dust on all furniture; all mirrors dirty and smeared; and, whats much, much worse, hair on the sheets, which looked like they were not changed, but simply and roughly pulled up under the quilt just like the previous guests left them. We asked for clean sheets and got ONE set for two beds.When the garbage bag got full and we pulled it out of the bin, the filth under it was unbelievable: there was a rotten, stinky corn dog on the bottom, as well as a kitchen sponge and some other debris. How could someone put a clean bag on top of that gross foulness is beyond comprehension. See pic.The kitchen counter was sticky with grime from previous guests food stains.There was grime and oil residues around and on the back wall behind the stoveWhen we heated the kitchen sponge in the microwave to disinfect it, a puddle of black water poured out of it onto the microwave dishAs for maintenance:The handle of the shower faucet and the toilet paper holder are both broken, and fly loose out of place if not handled carefully. The latter is held in place by an elastic band that some handy person put there. See pic.The couch in the living room is dangerously broken: both middle legs are detached and loose.The bottom drawer of the white chest in the master bedroom is broken and out of place as well.The batteries of the TV remote control were missing, and the TV was on.All this, except the garbage bin filth, we noticed on our first day. We put all dishes, glassware and silverware in the dishwasher and set it on hot and long, cleaned the kitchen counter, and we spent the rest of our stay disgusted and afraid to touch or move anything else.Their employee Alissa left a card claiming the apartment is Nice and Clean. This is a blatant lie. This person is not doing her job AT ALL. I am a Hospitality professional (a hotel manager with thousands of rooms inspected throughout a 25-year long career) so I know exactly what I am talking about. This person is cheating the guests and her employer every time she cashes a paycheck. Needless to say, all this reflects on the quality of ZENCITYs service. There is obviously and absolutely no supervision. No matter how many claims of cleanliness and concerns for the guests they post, reality trumps them. I mailed this review directly to ZENCITY and they have not even acknowledged it. Here it is for everyone to be aware.

Nice environment, and nice building staff... but for the price we pay, there is something always wrong. To start, why still to this day they use coin laundry machines? There are 10 washing and drying machines for the whole building. At least 3 or 4 are always OUT... and they dont even have the courtesy to mark them as out or fix them promptly. The prices are ridiculous for the amenities and considering there is no upgrades with each lease renewals... The walls are paper thin, you can literally hear EVERYTHING... not even in the building across (EPT) was that loud, at least it had better noise isolation.
Chandra is such a beautiful and sweet person! She’s always has been such a wonderful person to speak with. She goes above and beyond to help out whenever I have stayed at the Del Prada. She has such an amazing respect and kindness towards her clients, vendors, and all the guest within Del Prada. She knows all of the residence by their first name as well as everyone is so glad to see her upon initial contact.
Chandra and Danielle go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver great customer service. Their presence illuminates everything that is great about Mac Property (in particular The Del Prado).

Too many issues to truly know where to start. Del Prado was a great place to live two years ago. Lets see... In my opinion, Mac Properties ranks as the worst property management company Ive encountered in terms of action and accountability relative to resident safety. Staff turnover is frequent and the safety and security of the property is on the decline. Weed smoke is prevalent on the premises. There are commercial businesses on residential floors - allowing commercial foot traffic on the the same secure floors as residents who pay for secure access. There is known drug traffic as well as violent offenders in the building. I emphasize that these people are known to Management. Within the past year, there have been multiple violent encounters between residents and guests resulting in repeated police activity in the building, yet the residents remain on property. Vacant apartments are frequently hoteled so your next door neighbor could be some random guest for the night. So much for security. Each summer there are power issues in the building resulting in residents sometimes going for hours without power. The onsite facilities - such as the gym and laundry room frequently have broken equipment/machinery. Management does not move quickly to make repairs (one incident took 9 months to resolve).My advice would be to think twice before renting here if you value (and choose to pay for) secure facilities. The location is great and the premises are attractive but management responsiveness to resolving REAL concerns is sorely lacking. The onsite staff are great but there is little they can do. Be warned.

Internet is terrible. It is very unstable. You can expect to be out of internet several times a day, and each outage lasts from several minutes to over an hour....
