Our AC was not cooling very well and recently it started to make high pitch noise. We called Chicago HVAC Repair Doctor and Rafael responded quickly. He visited us the first day and the second day he got the parts and came to do the repair. He replaced the motor and replenished the refrigerant. The AC is running smoothly now and it cools very well! Rafael is very professional, knowledgeable and experienced. He explains things clearly and he really cares customers. I highly recommend him.

The AC went out in the condo and Chicago HVAC Repair Doctor came out within couple of days to identify the issue and replaced the unit the same day. They were very professional, courteous and efficient. They keep good records once they work on your house so they were already familiar with the issues. These guys are definitely keepers. When our cheap off-brand mini-split unit started to leak water, HCAV Repair Dr was the only place that would even come take a look at it. Every other HVAC service said they didnt service that brand of mini-splits. The technician came out and took a look and recommended that we just replace the unit, but also said that he could patch any leak he found and top it off with freon. We wanted to save money so we went with the latter. A month later, the mini-split started leaking again, and this time we bit the bullet and had it replaced. Not only did HVAC Repair Dr. replace the entire unit, install new electrical, and new drainage for it, and move the compressor to a part of the exterior wall where it would be easier to service, they also credited us everything we had spent to have the old busted unit patched. These guys are great. They are quick, efficient, professional, and they do good work. I will definitely be using them again for any HVAC repair and maintenance I have in the future

Highly recommend Chicago HVAC Repair Doctor, Inc. I recently moved into a condo, and had AC maintenance done. The Chicago HVAC Doctor team was incredibly responsive from the first scheduling call. They provided text updates the morning of the scheduled maintenance, and took the time to walk me through every step of their process. I will be calling them again in the fall for furnace maintenance!

These guys were very professional. We have a very old AC unit, on its last legs. We hired them, fully planning on needing to buy a new unit. They inspected the unit, found the problem and were optimistic that by replacing it, they could get another year or two out of it. We plan on using them when we actually do need to fully replace our unit.

Called and confirmed they repair ac wall units and made an appt. The day of the appt they cancelied saying they dont repair those and we had blocked off a 4 hour time slit to be home for the repair. Totally unprofesdional and wasted our time.

I was able to get an appointment the same day my heater pooped out. The team took their time to explain things to a novice and did a nice job. Professional and courteous. Made the process pretty painless.

HVAC Repair doctor are always on time, available on relatively short notice (and any repair involving HVACs almost always need to be done on short notice), and responsive to customers. On site, they clean-up the work site; they are thoughtful about ensuring that contractors who may need to do additional work / repairs can do so easily; and they will spend as much time as it takes to solve the problem. 5/5 stars for sure.

Unfortunately my heater stopped working in the middle of the night on a Sunday when it was -6 outside. Thankfully this company has a 24 hour answering service and they actually answered immediately! Within two hours I had help at home. I had the pleasure of having Erick come diagnose the issue- my Nest requiring some wiring fix, which he was able to provide. He was professional and courteous and able to fix the problem. Did a great job for an emergency furnace repair.

They really messed up the work left it unfinished and were extremely rude to me.These guys came in on time were clean, installed a brand new AC, Coil and Humidifier. They even fixed a lot of the mistakes the last company made on the furnace install without it being in their scope. They were prompt and came after hours to fix the heating system in the midst of winter. Technician found some other repairs that he suggested we fix. I took his word for it and paid a nice sum. But he did fix it that same night, so all good.

Besides installing AC, they also installed whole house humidifier and did maintenance on water heater. Professionally friendly and fast. They looked at square footage of the house and suggested the appropriate sized unit. They did not try to upsell nor did they try to sell replacement water heater when the repair was minimal. If you need ANY type of HVAC related work, LOOK NO FURTHER!We had our furnace go out on a Sunday and Monday morning Rafael came out to give us a quote since we knew our unit was 20 years old and needed to be replaced. The quote was extremely competitive and Rafael was able to get people out to our place within 3 hours to get to work.Joshua and Jaime came by and got promptly to work disassembling our old system and installing our new system. They make sure to put down tarps so they do not scratch the floor.I want to make it a point to say our system was *not* in an ideal spot and they did *not* have a lot of room to work with. However, this was not an issue for them! They understood everything that needed to be accomplished and answered all my questions since I am not familiar with HVAC work.Rafael even swung by later to lend his employees an additional hand due to the location of our unit being a bit awkward to work with which only increased the installation time length and nothing more.A++++++ quality work!We ended up replacing our entire HVAC system (AC + Furnace). Overall: Efficient and friendly service is the highlight for a successful heater replacement.The good: Incredibly fast and friendly service. Had a broken heater that needed replacing after 15 years and after the initial assessment, they were finished midday the next day. It was a cold few nights, but the new heater works great and they left without much mess at all. The prices seem reasonable enough for the Chicago-land area, and all the taxes and services are included in the final quote. Heater works fantastically!The not-so-good: (updated below) Was pressured into taking their “discounts” on service/installation. As great of deals as they were, I could hardly take the time to call my fiancée, let alone wait a day or two to get back to the (it was a “at-this-moment” offer, they wouldn’t let me wait a day). It was concerning to be put in that position, but the price seemed right and the service was friendly. Additionally, they had to take out my Nest unit after it failed to communicate with the new heater.
