I had this car shipped from Texas to Athenian Body Shop, Nick the owner exceeded my expectations with the body work and paint job. The greatest people ever love taking my car there

I lost all my trust in this shop, and will never be back again. They never did the work.Nick quoted 3 day turn around. Once they got all the parts I dropped it off. They took my car for 8 days and didn’t work on it. Never called me once.When I called today to ask if my car is repaired they said yes, and to come in. Then called me 20 minutes later to say they need another week. For a broken bumper and some paint I was quoted 3 day turnaround on.I just went and picked my car up. I asked for Nick but he left my car in the lot and went on vacation. The girl at the front was kind, but as soon as the manager came along he was rude.

And the girl working with him in the business, she’s super nice and understanding, I’m not too good with remembering names, but everyone there will treat you right! The Body work done to my car (2002 Acura TL) is by far the best I’ve ever seen out of all other body shops I gone to. They use GOOD QUALITY parts, keeping knock-offs out of the equation! I left my car here looking like a mess with a wrecked front-end, and I get it back looking like showroom quality. Will definitely be #1 on the list if I ever need any body work done again!

I got my FRS, and Audi truck fixed here never had a complaint. When you come in ask for Nick he’ll take care of you.

If you want communication, and deadlines not to be honored. Someone backed into my car. I decided not to go through the insurance and picked this place based on the reviews. When i took my car in i was told it would take 4 days. I took my car on Sat 8/3 (8am); I called them on Thursday (8/8); they stated they were finishing up my car and would call me that afternoon. (NO call) on Friday (8/9) I got a call at 5:30pm saying my car will be ready on Sat (8/10). I went on Sat to pick up my car (8am) and was happy it was finished.. Wait a minute! My husband inspected the car and the color didnt match. He told me/and one of the owners (the son) that the color didnt match. The son told us we can buff it out! My husband said I am not going to buff out a car I am paying over $1400 to have fixed they need to fix it. The son stated that he didnt have anyone to do it today so he can have it done by Monday (8/12).. I waited ALL day on 8/12 no call nothing from this shop. MY husband called Tuesday (8/13)and they said the car will be ready in an hour. Thank goodness when i went the car was ready and the color was matched to the rest of the car. However for what was quoted as a 4 day job. Took 9 business days, and most communication was me calling them I am happy this is finally over.

This place is absolutely fantastic! It is unfortunate that my need of their services always involves an accident of some sort.I grew up in the oak lawn/Chicago ridge area, and used them for several repairs in 2001-2004. I lived out of state 2006-2011. While Ive been away, friends and family have used them. Nobody has complaints. They do a great job, consistently.I returned to the area in 2011, but now live 24 miles away. I still end up taking my cars here, even after investigating all the other (closer/dealership) optionsI took my 2014 Camry to several places for estimates after it was damaged in a parking lot accident, and included Athenian only because they happens to be open when I was in the area to visit my mother one Saturday morning.The were the best quote, and the repair was perfect.I am a happy customer, for over a decade.Review written two months after my most recent repair.

I have known Jim since the 1970s when he had a body shop on the North Side of Chicago. Jim and his son Nick are always fair, courteous, and treat their customers like family. They do excellent work, and no car goes out of their shop without it being personally inspected by the them. Their prices are very fair and logical considering they are masters at their trade.

Nick accepted my insurance claim and worked a miracle with my car. He worked with the insurance company to get all work authorized and it was ready in the time he indicated. The vehicle looked like new, paint matched exactly. Maybe it was in my mind, but I would swear that the vehicle ran like new as well as looked like new. I would highly recommend Athenian for your body work needs.

They fixed my car last week, and I really loved it. Honest people because when I was paying them for the service, I overpay $100 by mistake and the guy return me that money. Great price, great workers and great service on time. Just try them and you will understand what I mean.

Owners are kind, understanding, helpful and professional. The shop would pick up the phone and answer any questions you have and would accomodate to any doable requests. Did not have a chance to see the workers but judging by the job done they did great, leaving no traces of any damages on my Maxima. It was a mess in my car before I dropped it for repair, they took care of it as well cleaning the interior and washing it outside. They also put back together the hanging plastics underneath the car I had because of a running over a truck tire on the highway, I never requested a cleaning nor fixing back the plastics. Very well done, I see why so many positive reviews. Thank you guys, keep it that way!

I had my rear driver side door hit about a year ago, the dent was pretty bad..I had two options of either replacing the door or getting the original fixed, repainted/blended. I went with option two. Honestly, not that I doubted Athenian, but I was a bit worried that the paint I have is going to be very difficult to blend (Acura TSX metallic graphite pearl) and that it was going to be big difference. I was so wrong.. let me remind you that this is practically a show car in working progress. Athenian did a beyond fantastic job.. EVERY little detail in the door was brought back to life, the paint is perfect, it is blended and matched precisely. I am extremely satisfied with the work, was for sure worth the wait, I will be bringing my my car to them again with my new bumper and other parts that need painting.
