As we were hitching up our 5th wheel, our landing gear failed. We couldn’t raise it or lower it, not even with a manual crank. We were completely unable to hitch up and leave. The campground recommended we contact Stephen at M&R RV Parts and Service. He responded right away & came out to our campsite that same morning. He discovered the problem almost immediately and fixed it on the spot. Stephen was meticulous in repairing both landing legs, ensuring they would serve us well in the future. He explained everything as he was doing it and he advised us on what we could do to avoid future problems. You will not find a more conscientious RV service provider. I cannot say enough good things about this man.

Cant say enough good things about Steve and his crew! Only 5 stars because i wasnt able to give him 10! Made room for us in his schedule with only 2 hrs notice and even though the correct parts couldnt be found, figured out a way to repair the slide on our RV so we could continue our trip.

Our slide awning broke and it needed immediate attention. Called in the morning and it was fixed later in the evening. The first crew didn’t have the correct equipment so they sent another truck which worked out very well. I would’ve rated them five stars but they were more than two hours late for our appointment. I would use them again with no issue.

The short version: Steve never got back to me after looking at my camper and telling me he could fix it. After a month of trying to get a hold of him without any luck, I gave up and went somewhere else.The long version: I called M & R in May as we we’re getting ready for the camping season with a list of things that needed to be done with our camper. Most items on the list were just maintenance but there were a couple of more complicated problems having to do with the frame. He promptly came out and looked at it, which I greatly appreciated, and then told me he would get back to me with an estimate of all the things that needed done, including the frame work which he said was not as big of a deal as I was anticipating. After about a week, I called back to check in and the phone was disconnected. I tried back a week later and I spoke with a different guy who said they were having phone problems and that Steve would get back to me shortly. I waited another week and left a message which never got returned. I’m not sure why I keep getting ignored but this company does a horrible job communicating and apparently doesn’t want my business. If that’s the case, I would have liked to be told that so that I could find someone else to fix it before June started instead of waiting for the busiest time of the year to fix campers.

The services provided were professional and very meticulous. They replaced the slide out cable that had snapped and then proceeded to correct another shops incorrect work. They even came back the next day to not only finish the job, but to ensure that everything was correct. If youre ever in the Cheyenne,WY area and require RV service, call Steve and his team first. You wont be sorry.

On 8/9/21 we arrived at M&R RV Services & Repair in Cheyenne, WY at 7:30 am for our 9:00 am appointment for repairs on a Schwintek bedroom slideout on our Grand Design 5th Wheel. It had fallen off track and would not properly extend or retract. Stephen arrived at 8:30 am and immediately started to work. Stephen and Rob provided EXCEPTIONAL service! Stephen thoroughly examined the slideout, meticulously removed the seal and all that was necessary to remove/replace the in-wall Schwintek motor. He rivited the upper and lower slide brackets, applied sealant, slideout lube and protectant on the rails, and reseated the slideout. As Stephen worked inside the rig, Rob assisted on the outside ensuring things were lining up and providing additional critical technical assistance. Before reinstalling all the nuts, bolts and sealant strips, Stephen ran several checks until he was confident it was working properly. Stephen and Rob are EXTREMELY EFFICIENT and KNOWLEDGEABLE and Stephen also advised how to periodically resync the slideout motor and the type of slideout lubricant to use. There was no delay in completing the repairs as they had all the necessary parts in stock. We resumed our travel with peace of mind knowing the slideout was repaired by experts. They are very personable, friendly and hard working. Do not waste your time calling other shops! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND M&R RV SERVICES & REPAIR in Cheyenne, WY for ALL your RV repairs, you will not be disappointed!! The service was AWESOME!

I called 6 times in 2Days, and no one answered the phone. As much as mobile services charge, you would think they could hire someone to answer the phone .

Last year, while visiting Cheyenne, Stephen at M&R performed routine A/C service on my 5th wheel, and I was very happy with his service. So while in Cheyenne again this month, I asked him to perform a couple service items on my new motorhome. Some of the wood trim in the living area wasnt put together by Tiffin, and was falling off the wall every time we drove. In addition, our door awning wasnt properly adhered so had blown off the side of the RV on a mildly windy day a few weeks ago. Stephen fixed both issues for us, showing me where the problem areas were, and answering all my myriad questions along the way. I am thrilled with the service he provided, and those areas of my coach are now better than new. I have already asked him to come back next week to permanently install a Hughed AutoFormer in my basement for me. I would recommend Stephen at M&R to anyone. I wont be calling anyone else in the Cheyenne area for service on my RV.

We purchased a camper from a friend and the camper needed a lot of work. We were pinched for time and Steve did wonders working on our camper and getting back to us in record time considering the work that needed to be done. Would definitely recommend and will continue to use him for repairs in the future.I read a couple of the bad reviews and I don’t think some of the poor reviews were fair at all. Don’t be a jerk. I was ready to head out to next location on my trip but had my slides sease to work.So he quickly found the problem and fixed it under the minimum trip and 1/2 fee. He was able to come out same day as had a repair finish early which helped me greatly.Fixed quickly with friendly service.Found so nice and trustworthy had them fix a heater issue before it got real cold and was done well with reasonable pricing in line with the estimate.Timely and Reasonable.UPDATE 0ct 23rd - Heater is working great and using so much less propane repair is paying for itself.

I had an issue with my rv late in the evening and my power was lost. I was starting to worry especially with cooler temperatures coming. I was given Stephens number and gave him a call. He said he would come as soon as he was able. Stephen did come out and diagnosed the issue. He put several hours in and it wasnt an easy job. After he completed the job he made sure everything was right and explained it all to me. Stephen went above and beyond and he worked very hard for the hours he charged me for and even though it was getting very late he maintained a professional and friendly attitude and he charged me a very fair price. Excellant, professional service. We pulled into the campground around 6pm on a Friday. After plugging into the shore power, the cord connector and MH connector melted. Tried contacting a local RV dealer with no luck as their mechanic would not be available until Monday. They gave us M&Rs number and I called. Steve answered and was at our site within 30-minutes ( on a Friday night). After a thorough check, he made the necessary repairs and we had power within one-hour. THANK YOU Steve!

Do not get your RV or camper fixed here!!! This company doesnt do quality work! Steve rushed through the job and even admitted to us that his worker had no idea what they were doing! After more than a month of dealing with these people we decided to do the work ourselves.Update: were traveling across the US and weve experienced so much trouble with our camper. The Awnings are popping off. The camper needs to be totalted out because of all the bad quality work this place did. Please do not use them. They will rush through and never test anything to make sure it works properly. The owner will try and justify everything as you can see in the comments.

The technician came out to work on our neighbors 5th wheel and I was so impressed that even I had to comment. Very professional and willing to dig in deep to get the repair done and get our neighbor back on the road. (Another service came out and all they did was say, Yep you got a problem and then charge an arm and leg for minimum service call.!) Local and distance dealers said 3-4 weeks before we can even look at the problem (if they could get the RV to them.)M & R got the job done!

If you are looking for RV repair, go no further. Stephan is the go to guy. We are full time Rv’ers and our water heater stopped working. I called every RV shop and mobile repair around. The soonest I could get in was August. Stephan met us on a Sunday afternoon and had our problem fixed in 5 minutes. And a fair price too. Good people need to be rewarded with work, I would come here again.

This company is outstanding. We have had them take care of our lawn for years. The staff is always friendly and prompt. Worth every penny!

Had to have our rental RV fixed for a horrible leak while just starting our vacation. They were able to explain the problem, fix the issue, and even do a few minor things for us quickly. Horrible work shoveling snow is something my older mom cannot do, they hired this company who fails to show up in the winter and fails to show up for regular lawn maintenance throughout the year. HORRIBLE

I wouldn’t recommend this place. Go to Scotch Boy. The owner is a 2 faced back stabber. If he doesn’t get his way he belittles you. He gets in arguments with his staff often.
