Rocky Mountain Truck Centers saved our tour!Im a professional musician in a full-time touring outfit. Life on the road as a band is already pretty tough, but there are some days that are truly horrible. We recently had one of those days. We were one hour into our 9 hour drive to Cheyenne from Sioux Falls, SD when the rear shackle link on our trailers left equalizer broke. (I had no idea what any of those things were more than a week ago.) We had 8 hours left to drive and our scheduled arrival time was already half-an-hour past the time that the production staff requested we be there for load in. Our show the day after Cheyenne was in Park City, and there was no way in hell we were going to drive a broken trailer into any kind of mountains; were honestly kind of surprised we ever even made it to Cheyenne, and that was driving through plains. We thought we might have to cancel our Park City show and maybe even the one after that, but Rocky Mountain Truck Centers really came through.We interfaced with Ks Trailer Parts & Service to get the proper parts order together over the course of the day, but we still didnt have anyone to actually do the repair; we didnt have the tools nor the time, as we had a show that night and had to leave at 7 the next morning. I called all of the normal garages and repair shops, but unsurprisingly, nothing was open or free. It was, like, 3pm on a Friday, and we needed the repair done by 7am the next day, so we were in a pretty big bind. I finally tried Rocky Mountain Truck Centers, and even though they clearly specialize in repairs on much larger-scale vehicles, they took the time to listen to our issues and said they could repair it by Monday. We set up a u-haul rental, dropped the trailer off, and they gave us a call 40 minutes later telling us it was repaired. We never even had to bother with the u-haul! We just picked our trailer up after our show was over and our tour was back on track. We really cant thank these guys enough for taking the time to help us even though we arent really what they normally do; it was really kind and it seriously saved our bacon. Customer service is a 10/10!

Awesome place bought 6 tires for my semi… reasonably priced

No air to fill tires. Had an air pump outside, didnt work. Said they didnt have any air.

Brought my truck in to them told them exactly what I wanted done. Gave them the part number and they marked up the cost of the part by 300 percent. I asked them to put on 2 slack adjusters. You can buy slack adjusters for around 70 dollars anywhere you go. They charged me 215 dollars a piece.and I got charged for diagnostics. Which they didnt have to do. Paid 900 dollars to have 2 slack adjusters put on and anywhere else would have been around 400 tops. Unbelievable tried to get some credit but was told it is what it is. I will never give them a dime again ever

Beware Beware - these were the most greedy people I have ever dealt with. We went in for a service and a battery problem. We were told we needed to buy 4 new batteries at $248 each. I can buy batteries at my home location for less than $100 each. Mechanic said there were two wheel seals leaking and I told them to go ahead and fix them but I didint ask the price ahead of time. Big mistake. They charged me for 5 hours labor but it only took them 2 hours to fix them. I talked to Terry the manager about why they charged so much and the response I received was thats just what we charge. I will never go there again and I will tell everyone I can not to go there. Go anywhere but here!

I had an issue with my air lines on the trailer called ahead let them know what my problem was, Jaime said sure we can take care of that. When I arrived Miguel got right on it and stayed even after the shop has closed, until he had completed the job. There were a few hiccups but the whole crew Jaime, Miguel, and Wayne all stayed till I was on my way. Great job. I really appreciated the dedication to getting me back out on the road. Thank you.

Horrible. I had three wheel seals on a semi trailer replaced. Got there at 2 pm, nothing done on my trailer. Nothing! And they dont close until 11 pm. They crushed the gasket on one of the hub caps so when I stopped many miles down the road I had a pool of 90w oil in my rim. Ive dealt with the Brighton shop and also Little America Cheyenne shop. Wish I could give a half star

Company was called for emergency towing at 11pm on a Saturday night quoted $1500 for a 27 minute tow, but then said with taxes and fees it would be $2000. Still exceptionally high but we were in a ditch and needed to be pulled out, so we said OK.They call us at 7am the next morning to collect payment and said the price was $4400, at no point point during the night or anytime did they call to inform us of an issue or anything that would result in the price quoted more than doubling, and they refuse to acknowledge that they should not be able to just double the price without any discussion with the customer, and has now refused to release my truck for 2 weeks unless we pay their massively inflated price.BEWARE They lie about their tow quotes and excuse it without ever getting approval for the new rates or changes to their rates.

Do not take your truck to this repair shop the only thing you will get is screwed, very unprofessional incorrect diagnosis tried to charge me $6,400 to replace a Turbo, got it out of there, a guy come to Super 8 from Denver and got it fixed for$ 800. A leaking oil line is all that it was.

I like to think Susan, Angie and the mechanic Ray for getting my issues Resolved with my kenworth T680.It came in with an issue that was a little hard to diagnose but Ray figure out what was the issue, Which it turned out that my driver simply overfield the gas tanks causing it to leak.They did an inspection on all fuel lines and the APU lines surrounding the tank, They did a Excellent job on keeping the cost down While they were doing their diagnosis.I really appreciate their help and the work they did for me its hard to find Honest good service these days.

Another expensive regen, so basically they said they had to clean battery terminals inorder for the computer to accept a forced regen, ive never had to pay more than 500 for a roadside regen but this one was at 1300 inside their shop, no sensors changed or oilchange, inshop regen alone. Well, i guess thats explain all the reviews on google. Jamie at front desk was nice and atleast they had us back on the road so apart from unexpected work on the regen, i think they are alright if you are in an emergency to get back going on the road.

Angie and Jamie hooked us up with friendly service ..we came in on an emergency s cam brake and 2 tires down situation ...only other shop said next week ..we dont have until next week and Rocky mountain got us rolling again ...thank you guys and girls

The worst repair experience ever. Total cluelessness, over priced milkwagon and did not solve my problem after spending almost 1000 dollars.

Horrible service... dead of winter no heat in break room. Over priced on labor and misdiagnosed problem. I talked with the manager on duty about issues I have had there. I called and talked to corporate. I was told the owner should be reaching to me to date this hasnt happened yet. There is still and open invoice there.

Just as I thought my day couldnt get any worse my check engine light comes on, so I call Rocky Mountain Truck Centers and they send Zac out to me. Incredible service is an understatement. WorstI request for road side service spoke to agent and he said he will send me a credit authorization form that I need to fill first. I waited for 30 min call them back and ask for form to be send they said we will be sending in next 10 minute after waiting for 30 minutes there was no response from them so I called back and inform them they said we have no information about ur call. After wasting 45min to one hour I called other road services but not received any form of call from them.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE . We sent our truck for Computer diagnosed after OK well diagnosed we told the shop to replace the Nox sensor and regen they never gave us a quote before doing the job so after they finish with it they charged us $1500 for the knox sensor which Crøss the country the Nox sensor is no more than $600 no matter which dealer you go to. After talking to the technician he said he cannot do anything about the prices that I need to talk to the manager so this morning I called the manager to talk to him that you guys are charging me triple the amount of what the Nox sensor cost and the response I got from manager wad our prices is what it is you can do whatever you want on your end we cannot help you with anything. Computer diagnostic, Nox sensor plus the labor to replace cost me $2300 which could’ve cost me no more than $1000 if I’ve gone somewhere else.

As we, truck drivers, have been overwhelmed and tired. I was greeted with a smile which really set the tone for this shop. Their great techs have the knowledge to repair anything! I thoroughly enjoyed being walked through the repair process and being updated along the way. I would highly recommend stopping here.

My truck needed a forced Regen due to Soot level. They were charging $130 per hour for labor and $300 to hook the computer to truck for a forced Regen.The total would fall between $750 to $1000 as mentioned by the person in the office.Who on earth will pay $750 or more for a forced regen? This place is ridiculousI took a reset as Flying J and going to visit Volvo after the reset.

TOTALLY ROBBED!!! I sent one of my trucks here to have oil change. After 140 Miles all of new oil was on i 80 freeway. Can you imagine they even can not make oil change correctly! That’s beginning of the story. I brought my truck to different shop and guys there make everything correctly. I called this place and asked some money for refund and towing expenses but manager there said I checked cameras and we did everything fine. Cameras ??? Under truck ??? Never use this company even if it’s only company around !!!

David came out to a truck we had on the side of I-80 he was professional and polite and got our truck up and back in the road. I would use Rocky Mountain again and recommend them to anyone who is stranded in Wyoming

Had a bolt break on stabilization system on our Travel trailer. Pulled into Rocky Mountain TC. They had us fixed and back on the road in no time. Highly recommend this place !!

If I could leave a zero, it would be more precise. My husband broke down on the side of the road on a ramp, called this place around 3 or so in the morning, waited hours with no idea of when anyone would show up or if they were having problems finding a part. Finally got someone on the phone who told him they were waiting until after 8 to call a place for the part. He had taken a photo of the hose needed and the VIN, and was called back to be asked for the VIN. He precisely told the person that if an aftermarket part could not be found, it would do no good to even send out a mechanic and he would find someone else to help him. They send out a mechanic, once again after hours of waiting (in an area that had no food or drink available and he had no place to set up the camper he was hauling to get to his own supplies as he was on a ramp). He took off the hose himself, put on the hose the mechanic supplied (which, once again was not the proper hose replacement but he had no other option at this point but to try it). He barely made it to the next exit before that hose blew. He had to get the mechanic to bring back his old hose, which they supposedly wanted to use to help them get a similar hose for future call-outs. He was charged labor for the mechanic installing the hose that he himself had installed. He was charged a convenience fee? Convenience? Really? He was charged shop supplies? There were no shop supplies involved. My husband had his own tools. An invoice had to be signed to even get the pitiful help he did get from this place, which of course had a section stating he was to the charges, all of which he most certainly was NOT aware, and also that the diag and repairs were satisfactory, but of course the invoice was sent to our email AFTER the fact. NOT a good place to do business, and because of the situation and the area, they really have people over a barrel as to which options are available for help.

Not reliable at all. Not responsible for what they are doing. They said they fix everything, ones you leave their shop and face with the same problem, do not even bother to call them, because they will deny that that was their fault. As you can see all recent reviews are absolutely the same, describing the same thing. I guess it better to pay a little more for towing, just to avoid this guys!

We brought in a axle to have a u joint removed. The gentleman that helped us was awsome and friendly. I would highly recommend thus place.

$100+ to patch a tire, no thank you. New tires are $400ish installed for me at goodyear. Loves charges $40 to patch a tire. Did not appreciate the guy blatantly lying to my face saying loves charges $150 to patch a tire. I wasn’t born yesterday - AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. You’ll save a lot of time and money by not even pulling in to this place even in an emergency. Lots of shops in the area that don’t rob truck drivers.

They had the tire I needed and were able to put it on fairly quickly.

Our truck broke down late in the evening. The technicians were able to diagnose and fix the issue. They had the software enabling them to do a quick diagnostic on the unit and find the issue quickly.

So my truck was in low power-limp mode, I didnt want to stop at this shop because of some bad reviews but I really didnt have a choice. I have to say I have never been more pleasantly surprised. It took a while for them to get my truck inside, about two hours, but once they did it only took them about 30 min to find the problem. The part I needed was not available in Cheyenne so the manager put one of the mechanics in his car and had him drive to Denver to pick up the part I needed. When he got back they got the part right on and I was on my way. I have never had a shop go out of their way so far (literally) I would recommend this shop to anyone in need of service

WARNING! WARNING ! absolutely unprofessional service with overpriced charges! My husband tried to fix truck there instead of 1 problem he got one more, they broke oil pan and in 2 hours all the oil was on the freeway, nobody wants to responsible for it, they basically said in the shop everything was fine, we don’t care that happened in 2 hours after our job, If they can’t do oil change, I don’t know what kind of repair they can make right. They are a lot of other shops in the city, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

Went there for a blown drive tire. Of course they did not have any used drives to match tried selling me 2 new ones. They refused to work with you. They would not install anything else on there. Went 10mi down the road got used tire with no fuss. Do not go to that place, they will try to rip you off, sell you what you dont need.

WARNING for all truck drivers!! Horrible service! Brought our truck here hopping to get it fix. At first it seemed to be running fine after coming here, then after just a few miles of driving out of their location my truck stop and the same problem occurs! So I call them and ask them if they can look at it again because it’s obvious they didn’t fix the problem and just took my money. They told me on the phone that it’s no longer their problem, when I was just there less than 30 minutes ago speaking with them about how they fix the problem!!!! Please do not waist you money here!

Needed a starter replaced on a truck. They spent all day and charged $1,400 to say they couldnt get a bolt out. TA got it out within a couple minutes. Refuses to do anything about their poor work. Manager told me thats the risk I take calling a service truck where they dont have all the tools needed to do the job properly. This place is an absolute joke. DO NOT USE THEM!

If you break down and need to get your vehicle fixed your better off waiting for your vehicle to fix itself rather than letting these guys attempt to. Our 4 wheel drive went out on our truck so we took it in after 36 hours of them having it we were told it was ready for pick up. We drove a half mile down the road attempted to.use the 4 wheel drive and nothing was fixed. After taking it back to them they said the mechanic who worked on it said it was ready to go. So we waited for that mechanic to arrive. 2 hours go by and were sitting in the parking lot in the truck and they call and say they found the problem and its the transfer case. So you found a problem.yet the truck isnt back in your possession. Needless to say I wouldnt trust these guys to work on a hot wheels let alone a diesel truck. It was very comforting to see the front desk lady had a sweet face tattoo as well very warm and comforting environment. If you value you vehicle and dont wann a get ripped off. Please find a different shop in the area.

We had a trailer pulled off on an exit that needed the bearings inspected on an axle, due to a torque nut backing off and the wheels wobbling. After telling me they would be there in an hour it took two. After getting the VIN number on the trailer they had the wrong parts for a 2015 model. Then they said they wouldn’t pull the hub off due to contaminates getting into the bearing area! They should just call themselves a tire service and make everyone’s life easier.

They had quality replacement parts on their service truck at a reasonable price. I guarantee I will use them again.

I have very bad experience with their shop in cheyenne,wy, They repaired my truck and my truck broke down after 500 miles with the same issues, They charged me over $5200.00, I called them to resolve the issue they just ignored my emails and calls. This not the way to do business. Our driver showed them the estimate from Volvo but they changed the wrong side of harness, they completely forgot to find the cause and just replaced the harness. I don`t think this shop have capable mechanics working. I will never recommend anyone to take their truck or trailer to this shop.

Very disappointed in the service that was provided. Problem my semi truck had wasnt fixed. prices are outrages $4,227.36 But the problem was with the little hole in the fuel hose, They fixed things that did not need to be fixed. Would not recommend this truck service to anybody. They do not return phone calls.

Tech that arrived to investigate checked batteries connection and fuses, then blamed driver for completely made up on the spot issues and recommended towing it to their shop. That 17 mile trip and his 30 minutes of walking around truck produced 400$ check. Stay away, ud be cheaper off towing it to trusted shop. These guys sound pro over the phone and no jack crap in person

Considering that its the worst time of your day, they made it as painless as possible to assist me in getting back up and running. The tech who responded did a through job of making sure what was wrong and in fixing the problem quickly and efficiently. Will make sure if I ever break down in their area again, to just call them first!

Called them out at 730am for a check engine light. We were 10 minutes from the shop. We added coolant to the truck and took off. Engine light came off. Called them back at 830 to let them know since NO ONE showed up yet. Got charged for nothing over $250. I wouldnt recommend this place. Price is too high for nothing.

New guy replaced an axle seal and didnt set my outside axle nut correctly. Axle nut started backing off in 50 miles and blew the seal again. Luckily I stopped to check it and waited on road side or else my entire hub/wheels would have come off. They refused to admit fault and wouldnt refund any money for my roadside repair. DO NOT USE THESE OVER PRICED PEOPLE

Lazy Worker

I discovered when checking out of the adjacent Little America hotel that the tire pressure in one of the rear tires of my rental car was about half of what it was supposed to be. I had it checked out at your nearby facility and it was determined that I had a nail in the tire. Your people fixed the tire and I was on my way in half an hour. I greatly appreciated their fine work.

Hr said he fixed the problem i drove 18miles i broke down again same problem i called them back they sent me another mechanic he temporarily fixed to get me to their shop till in the morning. Monday morning the shop supervisor was working on my truck he said everything is good you can go i drove 78 miles at Laramie i broke down again same problem i called them they the best thing to do is to tow the truck to their shop from Laramie to Cheyenne i asked them how much is the tow 1800$ 70 miles 5 hrs waiting time. I called i 80 towing they towed my truck for 700 i took my truck to freightliner they fixed with in 3hrs.IF YOU CALL THEM 100% YOU WILL REGRET

The worse and shadiest business ever tried ! Stay away from them and look for a serious and honest people to work with ! They will come to bill you but will do nothing to fix your truck !If you complain about their f..... mechanic that doesn’t wanna work at all, they will do nothing because they want him to be there even though not doing anything but will bill you for sure the amount they want !

Real polite receptionist. Pulled in to get 3 trailer tires changed. 2 1/2 hours Im still waiting. Finally get into the shop, 1 hr 30 mins & $1,000 later Im done. Theyre main priority is to service the ABF Freight company that shares the property with them.

I would only use these folks in an absolute emergency. They quote you one price and then pad the hell out of the bill. They were less than 15 minutes from me and charged me an hour for them to get there. Of course the mechanics were eating since they stopped for food on my time. After arriving they sat in the truck and talked for quite a bit. They added all kind of charges except for the air the mechanic breathed. I guess they overlooked that!

Terrible.. I have never paid so much for road calls before.. $124.49 an hour and $99.00 call out plus $1.50 a mile. For one tire $1280.. And also shop supplies charge, $24.77 Convenience fee, environmental charge, fuel surcharge, FET, WY 6%sales tax. I couldnt believe it. If I could give no stars on this I sure would. Ambest will not see our trucks come their way again . Its terrible to treat people like that.

Went in for an oil leak and they told us that we need a crankcase ventilation replaced on a D13 engine. When a lady called me back she told me that the part costs $2300 and after the labor my bill was going to be $3300. Being out of Denver, CO I declined the repairs as I wanted a second appinion on the job. I called Volvo of Denver and it turned out the part costs $1400 and the gasket is $20 obviously I was upset and didnt bother calling the shop to confront them of the scam they tried pulling and Bob answered the phone and basically told me that he was only telling me what his computer told him to tell me after getting the part number from Volvo and entered it in their system as of they have the parts in inventory, BS shady explanation even though they told my driver it takes 1 hr to replace the part. Anyway long story short stay away from small shops like this one. I got lucky hopefully you read this and the other reviews a d save yourself a HUGE BILL for a small job!!!! SCAM ARTIST THAT HAVE NO WORK TRYING TO MAKE ALL THE $$$$$ ON A SIGLE TRUCK!!!!I dont usually give bad reviews on Google but this one deserves it.

It’s an Ambest shop... they pay very good attention to detail.The cafe, albeit pricy, serves the best chicken Cobb salad I ever had.

They did service work on our F-350, 4WD was not working, they missed the cracked pinion charged me over $2300 for repairs that did not fix the problem and they left a shop towel in the differential which later destroyed seals bearings, and everything else in the axle! Our office is 1400 miles away and when these problems were found they denied responsibility for all damages caused by rag, and refused any kind of refund for totally missing the true problem which was a cracked pinion the whole time! Said we did not follow proper warranty procedures! Our shop is 1400 miles away! Avoid this place at all costs they will screw you blind and refuse to stand behind the repairs they allegedly make. Just read all the other reviews of them for the past year! Its like a broken record!

I would leave no stars,if I could they replaced a air bag on my trailer and charged me 950.00 that ridicules will never use them again

Good services and warm welcome,nice people.But the labour price too high.Only regen and clear the engine code less than 1hour charge 850dollars.but i dont hv any choice.As long as i can come back on the road again and delivery on time.

The shop here is here for one thing and one thing only and that is to rip you off they were trying to charge me $4500 for a clutch witch they were getting it from kenworth and there price was only $2500 and they wanted to charge me 19 hrs to put it in way over priced I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone there out to screw you they even said I had to buy 4 new batteries before they could finish the test to se what was wrong with my truck they charged me $750 for the batteries an to install them and my truck can sit with the fridge on for three days ands it will still start. So beware the manager here is a Scammer
