I can’t think of a single way that Sam’s club is better than Costco. Everything at Costco is better - from the product mix to the employees. The employees here all are unengaged and unmotivated to help. I wanted to cancel my membership because the customer service is so awful but after waiting in line at the customer service counter for over a half an hour, I joined several other customers and just gave up and left.I’ll be going to Costco from now on.

Very disappointed, employees were rude and store seems a bit empty. I normally go to Costco but decided to get a Sams card just for the savings on gas when Im not around a Costco. Big mistake! Wont be renewing my membership! If I could give it negative stars 🌟 I would for sure!!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service. I was in shock in how these 2 employees treated another human being. The door greater was an older gentle man and I thought at first he maybe he was just hard of hearing but that was not the case, he was just asking me the same question over and over again and completely ignoring the words coming out of my mouth. I stopped at the front door to ask him where the customer service desk was. When I asked he wanted to know why. I told him I had a couple questions about tax exemption. He then asked again and again and again. At this point of arguing with him about the location of the service desk I just walk away. After arriving at the service desk to inquire about the questions I had and process to go through for tax exemption. I received the most ignorant response from this woman. And while explaining to me the process she was pounding her LONG FAKE nails on the counter. She stated this is a private membership and there are policies. I said yes thats what Im inquiring about. She proceeded to explain to me that Im not in Target or Walmart or any of those other places this is a membership. While the whole time pounding on the counter. I have a personal membership and do not want the tax exemption on my personal card. As this is unethical and morally wrong. I just wanted to inquire about a one time use as our none profit organization has a big event coming up. I would have been just fine to be told the polices/procedure. WITHOUT THE ATTITUDE. I would have continued my shopping and paid the taxes. No big deal. Then I got the comment dont expect free, I didnt listen to another word and I left. I gave a 1 star because of the part of the store I did see was clean of trash and the couple shelves I did see while waiting in line at the service desk were organized. BUT NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO THIS SAMS LOCATION.

Good selection of items and great return policy but the 5 stars are for the new scan app. Never wait in line again by using the Scan & Go app. Also sign up for their MasterCard, amazing percentage on paybacks. AND business members get in st 7:00 am and get free tire repair. So many good things and one place.

Decent Sams club. Its definitely on par with the other clubs in the area. Plenty of items (in bulk) available, pricing fairly good depending on the item. Layout is slightly different but similar to other clubs, still has that familiar feel. If youre new, the club is easy to navigate. I did not use the checkout lines, as I use the Sams Club app to scan my items and pay. They scan a QR code on your phone when you exit to confirm your purchases. The food counter was ok, near the end of the night and they were out of some items - namely some ice creams / smoothies.

Did an in store pick up at the Sams in Chesterfield Valley this past Monday. They advertise that all employees are wearing masks for their safety and the safety of the customers. While I was there I saw 5 associates with no mask - and I didnt go through the whole store, I was only in the front by the pick up, which is by the exit. The exit checker, who literally had contact with everyone who had shopped, was wearing her mask with her nose hanging out. Of course, she also had to invade social distancing to check your receipt and scan an item in your cart. I tried calling to talk to the manager for over an hour and a half. Of course, there was no answer. I, for one, am extremely disappointed in their lack of care and will not be shopping there in the near future.

First time customer at this Sam’s club and was horrified of the poor management skills of staff. No concept of social distancing in this Covid crisis days- staff with improper mask placement; nobody following 6 feet distance guidance. Had to wait 15 minutes at “Club pickup” even though I had notified by App that I was there at store. Only silver lining is the Scan and go App.Will return back to Costco....

I went in to order a cake and cupcakes for my daughters birthday party. Before I could even start writing down my order, the lady behind the counter started barking at me about when I wanted my order. I told her Sunday and she said not until after 2pm, um okay. Well definitely not until after 11am. I wrote down what I wanted and she finally came around to talk to me. She then proceeded to tell me I couldnt have colored whipped icing and circled buttercream. Um no, I want whipped. We dont do that. Okay fine forget the cupcakes. Then I pointed out that I wanted Happy Birthday written on it and she said she cant write Happy Birthday on the cake. Seriously?! I went to confirm with managment at customer service and all she could say was, whatever they told you. You cant even confirm or deny the rules of the bakery? What a joke! I order all of my cakes/cupcakes from Sams because of the whipped icing. Guess Ill be looking for a new place to take my business!

The good: Sams is a great place to buy quality products in bulk, or the occasional higher end product at a good price.The bad: Employees are a bit unorganized and appear as their training is lacking.Also, I have been on multiple occasions when you take the item cards for the items you want to buy (such as gift cards and electronics)to checkout and pay for them then find out the actual item is sold out, thus spending additional time with customer service getting your money refunded. The store(s) apparently suffer from some disconnect by having many more item cards than actual items.

I have had a Sams membership since 1991, a business membership since 1999.....a plus members since 2016.....I was basically jumped by a female door attendant checking memberships when I tried to enter @7:15 am. I showed my card and walked in as I always do...the door attendant jumped in front of me yelling you cant come in you have the wrong membership. I felt as though this was racially motivated by the further comments of the door attendant and of the lady in customer service. IF YOU ARE A CAUCASIAN MALE BUSINESS OWNER DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE!

Dont want to give this store 1 star. Horrible customer service including the manager. Go to member services to get a pick and pull order that was suppose to be ready 6 hours ago. When waiting in ine to get someone to wait on you a lady that works in members service finished up with the lady in front of me and left. She seen me standing there as we made eye contact several times . The guy apologized multiple times. Then again on my way out . When the order was brought to me not one person offered me help from the lady who brought the 8 cases of water to the lady who checked my receipt to the man apologizing once again for the poor service . HORRIBLE
