Unfortunately they force me to put 1 star on here . They never have in stock what you need and frankly dont care because they think they are the only game in town. Please consider a local small business that will go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction. TGP sports inside the rec plex has the products and help you need.

Great selection of gear. Knowledgeable sales associates who are happy to help. If they dont have it in the store, theyll help you order it from their online store.

Incredibly happy with the service I received when buying my first pair of ice skates. The employee wanted what was best for me, even if it meant going to a competitor. I ended up finding skates that worked for me at another Pure Hockey location and had them shipped to this store. They have earned the business of my family.

I came into this store to purchase a goalie mask and was almost immediately greeted by I very helpful employee. He assisted me in finding and trying on the mask I was interested in then had to hurry off to help another customer. As I continued to shop, I decided to pick up a jersey but couldn’t find one in a goalie cut so I asked for some assistance. The same associate and his coworker rushed to help me and spent a considerable amount of time finding me the perfect jersey. I apologized profusely for being a bother but was quickly assured that they were happy to help me. These two young men were so extremely helpful and I couldn’t be more pleased with my visit or my purchase. I will certainly be returning for future in-store hockey needs.

I’ve encountered unprofessional employees on multiple occasions at this location. One time I waited 40 minutes and I was never even helped nor did I get a “sorry for waiting but I will be right with you.”

I will start by saying I should have looked at their hours before I left home, but I drove 45 minutes to the nearest Pure Hockey in Chesterfield, I arrived a little after 6:00pm on Saturday and found they were closed. I looked online and sure enough they close at 6:00pm on Saturdays, I dont understand that logic. Saturdays are typically the busiest shopping day/evening of the week, why would you close early at 6:00pm?

While this is the only store in the St. Louis market selling goalie equipment, they have a surprising lack of replacement parts. It is fine if you want to buy new gear and know what you’re looking for, but if you want to repair existing equipment, this isn’t the place - particularly if you’re looking for junior sizes. Incredibly limited and low stock. Really sad that the strong St. Louis hockey community is so poorly served.

Better customer service than anywhere else. If youre a beginner and think its gonna be confusing finding all the gear it wont. One of the employees wrote down a whole list of items Id need to be a goaltender included alot more than just what you think you need
