I was nervous about my first class, but my only regret is not starting sooner! Rowing is such a great workout, but the instructors and others in class really made it even better. The schedule allowed me to start early or grab a quick workout in the middle of the day during free time.They’ve taken cleanliness to a whole new level and I always felt safe when coming in.
I seldom write reviews but I feel Brandie and her staff so definitely deserve one it would be a shame not to share. Yes this is a great work out and yes it is set up with high energy but as a franchise so are many “fitness” clubs.But something set RowHouse apart. The staff is professional and knowledgeable, but they are also exceptionally welcoming and upbeat. They all have different styles which helps keep it interesting and fun. There are a few I have yet to have class with but I am sure just as dynamic. Maybe it is the uniqueness of rowing or the full workout, personally I think it is the culture they have built in this little studio that makes it work so well. I would encourage anyone who even has thought about it to give it a try. Rowing is fun, quick, efficient and you will be so glad you took the time for yourself.
I loved my first experience at Row House! I had the opportunity to interact with all of the staff at the gym and they were all so warm and welcoming! The coach, Susan, was also extremely energetic and conducted a great class. I would highly recommend this fitness class to any one that is looking for a great HIIT workout that is not too strenuous on the joints.
Fantastic place with great staff. They are really good at motivating (in a good way) to ensure a productive workout. Focusing on technique is a big part of it that really work the legs and core. Thank you Brandie!
Classes are so much fun and a great workout! Their covid response is great too so if you’re worried about safety you would feel comfortable here. I’ve only taken classes with Julie, Alicia, and Kristy and they are all amazing.
The staff was incredibly helpful as well as full of awesome energy. I did the Power class at 6:30 AM and it was a phenomenal workout! My whole body was feeling it afterwards. Hands down one of the most fun workouts Ive done as well. This was my first row-oriented workout and I was given a full breakdown of how to properly preform the workout. 10/10 would recommend to people of all fitness levels!
In high school I often wondered what it would have been like to join a rowing team. However, my childhood fear of drowning (*professional sinker alert*) prevented me from exploring that desire. With Row House I feel like I got another chance. The Chesterfield location is jam packed with friendly staff and a fantastic crew of teammates. Row House brings you low-impact, non-weight baring, high-energy rowing classes/workouts. And, like in a boat, every position makes a difference. Tone your core, learn the form to improve your posture, actually enjoy getting your cardio in and build muscle. This is a great culture building activity for businesses and individuals!
