My insurance company referred me to BELFOR for a water mitigation renovation and it was not an ideal experience. BELFOR clearly treated my insurance company as the client. They stated they could not provide me with the bid directly and that I could only see it after it was submitted through the insurance company. When I saw the bid, it was missing items, measurements were wrong, and the cost of the labor appeared very low. Tired of trying to deal with this project, I tried to hire them to proceed, but they refused to stand by their bid, stating that the insurance company asked them to just provide the bid and not do the work. I inquired with my insurance and they said this was not the case. This took place over the course of a 3 month period, where I had to constantly reach out to BELFOR every step of the way before they ultimately decided they would not stand behind the bid they provided.I ultimately went with a different St. Louis company (Woodard) that was professional, pleasant to deal with, facilitated all insurance issues to address my issues, and did a fantastic work.
This is turning out to be one of the best employers to date. What a brilliant company .. many thanks for making him new family .. to the work place
Great company. They have fast answers and ETA is great. Also really wonderful customer service. I highly recommend.
I would not recommend Belfor Property Restoration. We NEVER received a quote after a serviceman viewed our home. When I brought this to the attention of management, no one responded. When I continued to reach out to management for acknowledgement of the issue, I received an email from the Branch Manger, Bambi Fleming, basically scolding me for reaching out to their Administrative Assistant who scheduled our initial inquiry appointment.Issues:- Our appointment was on Tuesday, 8/6. The serviceman, Ricky, came out to view our house.- On 8/14, I reached out to their Administrative Assistant stating that I never received a quote. There was no response to this message.- On 8/15, I reached out via Facebook and received a vague apology.- On 8/20, I reached out again to their Administrative Assistant and once again, no response.- On 8/20, I received an email from their Branch Manager, Bambi Fleming, scolding me for reaching out to the admin.Overall: Poor Communication / Management- I shouldnt have to reach out to the company for a quote. A quote should be provided shortly after viewing the property.- I shouldnt have to go to a companys social media page to get a simple response.- I shouldnt be scolded by a Branch Manager for reaching out their employee when a simple email would have sufficed. All I wanted was my issues to be addressed and acknowledge by leadership – to avoid this happening to someone else. I rearranged work meetings in order for Ricky to come out. Regardless of the type of business you’re in, find ways to serve your customers that shows that you respect their time and your business. If you can show your customers that you respect their time – they will appreciate it and feel valued, even if you dont always get it right.
