In the past I have recommended geek squad repeatedly, and actively encouraged people to get their total tech support despite mine expiring a year ago. Brought a computer in today that I suspect just needs the power button reseated to it makes contact properly. To send it out to have the hardware checked would cost 85 dollars, even with the total tech support. At the cost of even 85 dollars I could have a local repair shop do this work for me. Best Buy and Geek Squad have taken the main value for me out of the repair services they offer.

Had a great experience with Geek Squad the other day on a challenging install. The team was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and, most importantly, patient. I was indecisive and caused serious delays in their schedule, (sorry guys, truly) but was accommodated without hesitation or frustration on their part. The best part is that it looks fantastic and their clean-up effort was nothing short of impressive. This was a very good experience and I would recommend Geek Squads install teams. I purchased a 65 inch Samsung tv in Late June from this store, then I purchase a 5 year protection plan. Late July the optical cable outlet broke. Called geek squad they said it need a main board and would order one. I received the mother board and call geek squad back for a appointment to install the main board. 36 day wait for repair.

THEY MADE A FOOL OUT OF ME. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. My samsung S8 screen got cracked so I contacted samsung care to check my options. They informed me yo take my phone to your nearest samsung authorized centre and it will cost between $180 -$190. So I called geeksquad in Best Buy THF blvd and the guy on the phone told me that it will cost 249 plus taxes so I told him that samsung rep gave me a quote of $180 so he said no sir thats for S8s flat screen and for curved it will be $249. At that time I was under the impression that s8 has two screen types so I said ok since i hv no other choice i m fine with repair cost. So i took it their and got it fixed for $273. Later in the evening when one of my frnd told me that there is no flat screen version of S8 then i realised that i got DUPED. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE WHITE COLLARED THIEVES AND TRY TO FIND BETTER REPAIR SHOPS.

I have been trying to get a refund for a cancelled order. I have been transferred to 6 different agents and twice, the call was cut off. After the second time, I gave up. It took over half an hour and I may have to go to a store to resolve this issue.
