Wow. I read the other reviews before going there, and all I can say is that if you think the place stinks and charges too much, you must have mistakenly gone next door to the tattoo place! I had a zipper replaced in a very heavy down hunting coat where the liner attaches to the outer shell. They matched the replacement, ripped out the old zipper, and replaced it with one that is as good as the original for $35! Only took one week, which included ordering the new zipper and doing the work. Get real or go buy yourself your own sewing machine!

I have had numerous pairs of pants shortened here, as well as a formal. I have also had sleeves shortened and made less full. I have always been happy with the results and the customer service. Genia even went out of her way to find me something to keep my pants tucked into my boots. I appreciated her help!

TERRIBLE!! I had two $400 dresses recently altered. One taken out and one shortened 3 inches. The seams were puckering down each side of the dress they let out. I was panicked when I picked it up the night before my event. It was tight fitted on the sides so the lumps in the fabric going down each side were very noticeable. They tried to fix it but were unable to and I was left with a ruined dress. The dress they shortened somehow became extremely tight at the thighs??? Almost like they took it in at the bottom and it wasnt a tight fitting dress so now looks bizarre on. Again left with another ruined dress. I cant tell you how many dresses I have had shortened and never has one become tight at the bottom. They use to do a great job but in the past year their work has gone down hill. I would never take another piece of clothing to them.
