This is a great place to in and out and for a reasonable price. Booking an appt online was easy, and Ariel did such a great job giving me layers and frames. Admittedly I botched my hair by trying to cut it myself but she fixed me up and I look great! Thanks again!

Since I work close by here I decided to check it out. I needed a haircut and wanted to do a color. I come in and meet Megan, who did a great job. Everything went great and I felt I’d finally found someone in the STL area to use ( I moved here 6 years ago) so the end of July after all the covid stuff and they reopened I went back in for a trim and touch up. Well I had colored my hair black before and this time I wanted to do black with blue in it. So I was charged for a hair cut and all over color. I wasn’t going to trip on it except there wasn’t a hint of blue anywhere. Since we were friends on Facebook I reached out to her to let her know and I never heard anything. I sent her another message about 4 weeks later to see if she’d received the original message and she was she had forgotten and was busy so she gave me her cell. We spoke in text about my issue and she said she wanted to speak to her manager and see what could be done. She felt bad and wanted to make it right. I messaged her the week later and she told me she hasn’t gotten a chance to ask yet. So this week I sent a text to follow up and have yet to hear anything. At this point, after trying to reach out for over a month and gotten nowhere I decided there was plenty of time to at least see what could be done. To spend $90 before tip on a cut and color and it not being the color you paid for could have been remedied. I will not be back again. Megan was great and personable but after this experience and the time I gave her to make the issue right is not ok. I didn’t want a refund, i really just wanted what I’d paid for to begin with and I didn’t get that so it seems I’m still searching for a salon. I’m extremely disappointed I had to leave a negative review but I honestly tried too many times with radio silence to get what I paid for.

I love this place. When I moved here, my thick hair couldnt keep up with Missouri humidity, so I decided to get a pixie cut. My hair grows so fast that I need it cut every 4 weeks to maintain this style. Full price for a haircut here is $28, and if you sign up with your e-mail address, you will often receive coupons. Also, I really love my stylist and find her to be not only a really lovely person, but also a skilled practitioner who I will be sticking with. Even though this place allegedly takes walk-ins, this location in particular is very busy and youd be better off making an appointment to be sure you dont get turned away.

Been getting my hair cut here by Megan for three years now. She has been amazing and is very personable. Every visit we have great conversations and she is able to remember so much about what is going in my life. She also does a great job cutting my hair correctly and quickly.

I love the time that Dwanna always takes with me. She listens to what I want and offers great suggestions, if I ask. Unlike other hairstyle places, they dont sell try to up sell you styling aides you dont need. Tuesday is mens day and they get a special price for haircuts.

Ive been going here for years and have maybe only had one or two haircuts that I didnt think were excellent. The shop has a few stylists who have been there for a long time and one or two newbies most times I come in. The new stylists arent inexperienced, they are usually just new to this location.For the most part I just walk in and dont have to wait incredibly long. They recently have started taking appointments, which can be especially helpful if you want one of the more experienced and popular stylists.Overall a very pleasant atmosphere, good value for the money, and high-quality work by the stylist. Very highly recommended.

Hands down the best haircut I have ever gotten. Tayisiya worked magic on my melon. She gave me the perfect fade, and an even cut, exactly what I asked for but she put her attention in the details. Shes definitely a perfectionist. I will definitely be back.

If I had to the option to leave zero stars I would. I asked for a men’s fade and i got something that I didn’t ask for. Katie is originally the “stylist” who attempted to do a men’s fade... that didn’t last long because clearly she had no idea what she was doing. She grabbed another stylist to help. The assistant manager ended up getting involved trying to fix what Katie originally botched. I was there for an hour for a men’s cut when it typically should only take about 20 minutes. Katie also did not have proper equipment for a men’s cut. Her manager had to ask her multiple times for pieces of equipment that Katie had to grab from another station because she was not equipped to do a men’s cut. This was the worst haircut I have experienced in many years. I have been to Hair Saloon For Men that’s in the same shopping center and I have never had a problem. I decided to try this place out because I had a coupon. That was a huge mistake. Now I have to go somewhere else to pay for haircut. The only positive part is how good the assistant manager was trying to “fix” what the original stylist had messed up. By the end of it I had 3 stylist trying to cut my hair. I was not satisified with this cut. I had no intention on paying for the cut once it was messed up. I was not gretted by name even thought they ask you to write your name down on the sign in sheet. This was a terrible cut. I do not recommend LookAfter Hair Company for men’s cuts or fades.

I was a walk in today to get my bangs trim. The Stylist was pretty rude and seemed like she didnt want to be there. I sat down to get my bangs trimmed and she did it improperly, cutting them straight down instead of feathering them so they werent blocky. I had to come home and fix it myself. I was not impressed by this salon.
