Jay and his Team were awesome. Excellent, prompt service and very kind. I had to get extra chairs and a table last minute and Jay provided at no extra charge. WOW! From beginning to end the service was amazing. I dealt with Amber for my rental needs. She is a wealth of information. The Tent, Lighting, Dance Floor and padded chair we rented were of great quality. I thought we might need more lights under the tent, I guess the owner over heard me and that night he came back and added them. This type service is unheard of this day and time. Ive read so many horror stories of dirty falling apart equipment, Not the case here. Would highly recommend.

She was absolutely spectacular. From day one of getting a quote and picking out what I needed was easy and the staff was always friendly and helpful. My wedding would not have happened without these wonderful folks. My wedding took place September 15, 2018 and for those people in VA may remember Hurricane Florence was scheduled to hit us directly that very weekend. Chesterfield rentals and Amber worked with me to keep me calm about the weather and assured me that they would do everything possible to make sure that I could have my special day. I probably called Amber at least fifty times and each time Amber would calm me down and assure me that they would do everything within their ability to set up for my wedding. Each time she would tell me that the weather is looking better for us and that a little bit of rain wouldnt stop them from delivering. They even added extra sections and sides for the tent last minute. Because of the rain I had to move the ceremony inside under the tent along with the pergola and other wedding activities (corn hole). What other company would be willing to deliver and set up with a possible hurricane on the way. They watched the weather and held their breathes along with me. I know of many other weddings that were cancelled due to venue and vendor choice, but not CHESTERFIELD RENTALS. My other two sisters have used their services for their weddings as well. My family has been using them since 2011 and they have always been helpful, professional, and delivered what was promised. Chesterfield Rentals has a customer for life. I rented out tables, chairs, a cooler and their bounce house for my sons birthday party. Their rates were very reasonable and there were no hidden costs or extra fees like some of the other rental companies Ive used in the past. The rentals were in good condition and the bounce house was sturdy and safe. After returning the rentals, they were kind enough to send a thank you card to my house. I will definitely be doing business with them again and highly recommend!

I rented pink table clothes, burlap runners and white chairs from Chesterfield Rentals to make my event special. They are courteous, professional and are reasonably priced. I will certainly use them again for any other needs I may have.

Thank you! My sister got married at the beginning of the month and it was beautiful. We rented a gorgeous white tent, tables, table cloths, chairs, and a checkerboard dance floor. The team at Chesterfield Rental took care of everything. They setup the dance floor and the tent, stacked all the tables and chairs nice and neat, and the table clothes were hung and bagged and ready to use! My wife ordered 30 chairs for our sons college graduation party on Sunday. Im not sure of the cost, but they were delivered on Friday, they were in good condition and cushioned, and picked up again on Monday. Very convenient and effortless on our behalf. I recommend CR.

I rent tables and chairs regularly from Chesterfield Rental for my own business. There are a few other places I could rent from however, the reason we choose Chesterfield Rental over everyone else is because of their friendly service. Anytime I call they are relaying a smile through the phone, very helpful and they remember who you were when you show up in person! They also help you load items into your car. I used Chesterfield rental to do a promotion for my companies customer appreciation day and it couldnt have turned out better. They arrived on time and did the set up fast and perfectly. Just picked up my tables and chairs for my baby shower and the customer service was great. Everything from the phone call to reserve my items to when I got there. The man and woman in the front were extremely nice, he had everything all ready right at 9am. The process took like 2 minutes and he even put the tables and chair in the truck for us. I have three days until i have to return the items which i think is amazing! The price was so reasonable for everything, i am extremely pleased. First time using them and I will be using them again! I am a planner and long time customer of Chesterfield Rental. The quality of the products that they rent are subpar. Ive rented just about everything from them from linen, to china, to glassware, silverware etc. They need to update their inventory immediately with items that have not been overused. After a bad experience with a red carpet rental, I decided that I would no longer use this company. I rented the carpet for an events entryway and when I unrolled it, it was filthy. Now crumbs, I can deal with, I could easily sweep those away. This carpet was DIRTY, black dirt and footprints all over it. I was so embarrassed and angry. My clients expect high quality service from me. I do not get high quality service from Chesterfield Rental. When I called to express my displeasure, I got Oh, Im sorry, Ill give you a credit for a future rental. This week, I was tasked with providing games for a little league homecoming tailgate celebration as a Team Mom. I hesitantly called Chesterfield Rental to rent a few carnival style games (since I knew they offered quite a few). I rented 3 games at $35 each. All of the games were in bad condition. One (the baseball game) had silver spray paint covering the top right of it, none of the Velcro straps provided to attach the games to the poles were working so a team dad ended up using twine to get them to attach, there were no instructions for how to setup, and lastly, one of the games did not contain all of the right parts to setup. To no surprise, Chesterfield Rental did not own up to the mistake or the quality of the items they rented and blamed me for not saying anything before returning them. Brides, beware. You wont get high quality rentals (chairs, tables, dishes, glassware, linen etc.) from Chesterfield Rental. Will NEVER do business with them again.

My daughter was married this weekend at an outdoor venue. There are so many areas of planning for an outdoor wedding to include the weather, tents, generators, tables, chairs, etc. Chesterfield Rentals made this part of the planning extremely easy from start to finish. They provided a gorgeous 40 x 80 tent that included all of the above including the good weather ! Everything arrived on time and the crew putting up the tent were pleasant and very hard workers that wanted to make sure we were pleased. Michelle and Amber in the office were very responsive and great to work with. Their prices are very reasonable and they care about their customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or any type of event.

Very professional. Rented table linen for my son graduation party on Sunday, Linen was ready for pickup the Friday prior to the party. I received phone call telling me items were available for pickup. Linen was clean and colors were perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful,

From start to finish everything was great . I didnt get one of my tables and they quickly made the correction on my tab and even let me turn in two forgotten knives a day after it was supposed to be turned in. The lady at the front desk was so nice and helpful. Will definitely do business with them again! So glad my planner found them for my wedding !

Great customer service in the 9th hour! I didnt have anything reserved. I stopped by Chesterfield Rental at 9am on Saturday for an event scheduled for 5pm. The representative was very knowledgeable and all of the inventory that I needed was in stock! They even had a doughnut display for rent. The event was a success thanks to Chesterfield Rental :-)

I used Chesterfield Rentals for a Halloween event. They were great to work with, very professional and accommodating. Everyone loved the inflatables, games, and concessions. They will be our first choice for all future events.

I came here to rent some chairs for my sisters baby shower. The staff was super friendly. Checking in and out was quick and easy. Brought my fiancée to load and unload but didnt have to because they took care of it all. Prices are great and affordable. The chairs were in good condition and had no issues with them at all. Overall this was a great experience. My sons birthday is coming soon and will most likely be coming back.

So very upset, today was the day of my baby shower! So I rented a tent, tables, chairs, chair covers.. children’s tables and chairs, knowing it was going to rain, the manager Amber said it would be fine they do tents on rainy days all the time, she said they are very safe, and keeps you dry! So, we added 2 side panels to help keep dry also. I arrived to decorate my tent, Friday morning and noticed the tent was half collapsed, poles were bent, was clearly not set up properly. I called amber, she said she couldn’t get in touch with anyone to help fix the tent, she told me to push the water out my own self, and try to stand the poles up straight.. I knew this was a dangerous thing to try and do, so my mom quickly found a banquiet hall elsewhere to have my shower.. since I had already given out 40 invitations and food and decor was on site! So, we packed everything up and moved it, as soon as my shower ended.. I went straight to Chester rental, tried to get a discount because the tent was unused and not safe! It was a complete danger site. It could’ve very easily killed someone the way it collapsed. I was told I was not entitled to any form of money returned to me.. which I’m very upset about. I do not recommend this company!! It was a very scary situation for me!! So glad no one was physically hurt... it was a close call!!

Very easy to work with and honored the specials and discounts as listed on the website that applied to my order. Most reasonable price in the area for the equipment I wanted. I rented a 20x20 frame tent and tables and chairs for a birthday party. They called prior to delivery and pick-up to say they were on the way, which was nice given that they had already provided a delivery timeframe. Chairs were black plastic folding and in good condition. Tables were a little beat up but sturdy and I had already planned to use tablecloths to go with my theme, so it was fine. No hassles or issues but recommend following up once you fax or email signed contract to ensure receipt. Would definitely use again!

We were told months in advance that our tent and other equipment would be delivered the Thursday before our Saturday event and planned accordingly. A few hours before the delivery time, we get a call saying nothing will be delivered until the day before the wedding which cut 9+ hours out of our setup time. We asked for reimbursement in the form of sides for our tent to which they replied they had none available and were unwilling to provide monetary reparations. Delivery drivers were almost an hour late for the new delivery time (again taking away from our decorating time.) Upon reveal of the items, tables and chairs had uneven legs and didn’t match the level of each other and we had to find chunks of wood to even them out so they would even hold decorations and place settings without them falling over. Some of the table and chair covers had stains on them and one of the dance floor squares was separating from its base and created a tripping hazard for our guests. Thank goodness it didn’t rain the day of our wedding and waited until the following day because the tent buckled and caved in on one end during the rain. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

Why would you try to make a very pregnant women try to fix a tent that had collapsed because it was poorly put together and then not offer her a refund? Will never be doing business with you guys and will make sure others don’t either. That’s unbelievable

My daughter rented a tent, table and chairs for a baby shower. They said it would hold up in the rain, we get to the tent to decorate and the side had collapsed from the rain gathering on top. Pole completely down. My son n law got a ladder and tried to scope out the water from the top and it was just too bad. Chesterfield Rental was no help, they didnt have anyone available to come and fix. We had a large number of guests coming, and had food already paid for, we had to do something quick, luckily we were able to secure a banquet hall last minute to hold the shower.My daughter asked for a refund or at least a partial refund because she was unable to use the broken collapsed tent. The staff was very rude, would not refund a dollar and she asked to speak to management or owner and all they did was point to a plaque on the wall of the Tomlinson Group LLC and there is no such business to be located. So you are a business and a customer asks to speak to the owner and all your staff does is rudely point to a plaque on the wall?? What kind of business is this?If you rent from them, you better hope there isnt a problem. You will have to take it up with a plaque on the wall. Either there is no management here or the business is being run by people that dont have a clue. Does the owner know this is happening? Was that the owner? No response?Please take your rental needs somewhere else. Shameful.

I must assume that my experience was a unique occurrence based upon the historically high reviews. It was actually those reviews that lead me to choosing Chesterfield Rental in the first place. However, my experience was just shy of absolutely horrible.1) When I went to their location to pay for the rental I asked the young lady (Amber?) if they could call me the day before the delivery to advise me on when the thought they would be coming out. She assured me that they would definitely call me the day before since it was a busy weekend and they were hoping to deliver & setup on Thursday instead of Friday.2) A rep from the company called me at 10:30 on Thursday morning to tell me they would be delivering that afternoon. Clearly not advance notice as promised and more importantly, I was over an hour away. I told the rep that they would have to be there and have the tent set up either by 2:30 before my wife left or they would have to wait until 4:30 when I got home. She said she would call me when they were on their way out and they were going to try to make it before 2:30.3) The driver called me at 1:40 to tell me they were on their way from the shop. According to Google Maps, it takes no less than 40 min to get to my home from their shop. Simple math says that would only leave them 5 min to set up a tent, tables, and chairs. That is if everything went perfectly, which of course it never does.4) When the driver called, I had a bad feeling this was not going to work out the way it was supposed to so I dropped what I was doing (ie working on a jobsite) to rush home a make sure that we got what we needed taken care of so our Saturday event wasnt negatively affected. I arrived at 2:40 and they werent even at the house yet and no call from anyone from Chesterfield Rental. It wasnt until almost 3:00 before they arrived and the poor boys (3) looked exhausted. So, now they are late and arriving in the one gap I specified when the called last minute that I could not accommodate.5) They start setting up and come to discover they have the wrong tent top for the frame they brought. The lead employee advises me that someone else will be out soon with the correct materials and that they had to head to another job nearby, but would return to help with setup once the top arrived.6) The owner shows up with the correct top and starts setting it up by himself. I take the opportunity to vent my concerns with the complete lack of effective communication, integrity, or professionalism that his company has handled this situation with. To which he replies, Well, you arent the only customer we have this weekend. It is a very busy weekend and we are doing the best that we can. Are you serious?? I lost my S on him at this point and clarified how a small service based business is to stay in business by under promising and over delivering as opposed to what they were doing. Needless to say, I told him that I was anticipating a follow up after we got through the weekend and that I wanted a partial refund for the inconvenience and cost to me for having to alter my work day because of their ineptitude. Well, it has been about a month and I have not seen a refund in any amount and I have not heard from anyone from Chesterfield Rental.In summation, the experience I had with this company was nothing short of horrible and I will not do business with them again. Furthermore, the attitude of the owner expressed in his unwillingness to remain objective and take responsibility for his companys actions has seeped down into the employees of his company and poisoned the culture of the group. Shame on him.

I must say this is the the worst place I have ever rented off of even the people that work for them warn me I shouldn’t do business with them but it was close so I went ahead against my better judgement and rented off them biggest mistake in my life then when I ask for a refund I might as well ask my kids for the money back cause that pretty much how they acted like a child when you want your money back but it’s ok I now no why I was the only one there when I came there cause they suck
