Very quick & orderly safe place & really clean for a landfill.. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because it should be a larger space for what they are doing there..

Excellent, scale operator very personable and nice. The guys up top directing you in are quick and officiant. Even when there has been a line I get out quick.

Probably the worst transfer station operated in the area. Extremely small dump area and the line has been extremely long!Would highly recommend avoiding this location

Never bothered to publish that no residential trash received. And then told that it could be dumped on Saturday for a fee.Why do we pay for this each month along with all the other pocket lining fees

It is a little slow sometimes balancing with city trucks but it goes smooth.

The lady at the front gate who checks your ID for Virginia beach residency is so helpful and friendly. I enjoy seeing her positive attitude when I take my recycling there. My community doesnt offer recycling so I try to take a huge bag of recyclables here instead of the alternative. Every area is labeled and easy to find.

Employees at SPSA Cheaspeake Transfer Station are turning residents away from trash drop-off. At 8:00am, Saturday, 14 Sep, employee is informing residents that they are not accepting residential trash until 12 noon. I informed her that was not the information posted on the website, which states trash is accepted on Saturdays from anyone from 8:00 am - 12:00 Noon, and from Chesapeake residents only from 12:00 - 4:00 pm. She asked when was the last time I checked the website, of which I told her Friday afternoon; I was still turned away.Educate your employees or change the information on your website. Either way, youre making it hard on residents to dispose of their yard trash on the weekends if your policy is not correct or employees do understand the policy.

What is the real answer for July 2020 for Chesapeake residents.?Too many different answers to this question..

Employees are very nice and helpful. I just hate the hours. I work a lot of half days on Saturday and struggle to get by here when theyre open. If they would stay open till 5 on weekdays or open half days Saturday AND Sunday I would post a 5 🌟 rating.

Quick and easy for Chesapeake residents. No need to drive in the dirt as in VA Beach. However, there is no HAZMAT disposal at this location.
