Rooftop chimney was great when installing our chimney liner! They also repaired (for free) some damage around the stack that we didn’t know about. Josh was great and explained everything they did.

They showed up on time were very professional and was able to fix the issue with my fireplace. For some reason the fireplace remote was no longer synchronized to the fire place and I could not light it using the remote. The inspected the fireplace cleaned it and synchronized the remote. They did a great job!

I was very happy with the service and would recommend them. They came for an inspection and cleaned out the chimney, showing me photos of what the stack looked like on the inside after he was completed. They were very respectful of my home. I got an email estimate for a small repair, and it will have a 15 year warranty. It will be easy to keep up the maintenance with them.

So glad we found RoofTop Chimney! We had 2 other companies come out to look at our fireplaces (house built in the late ‘80’s) but neither seemed very knowledgeable. RoofTop was very knowledgeable, explained the process, gave their recommendations. Did a thorough inspection (and sent a full report w pictures immediately after). Then returned to do the repairs. Perry is a regional manager but came out personally to do the work. He and his co workers were super respectful of our house, explained what they were doing, laid tarps everywhere. Had virtually nothing to clean up after they left. And they worked on 2 different fireplaces. Highly recommend!!

Like many people in Richmond, we brought an older home with 3 fireplaces. We initially requested an inspection and service. Scheduling was fast and easy and our technician was very knowledgeable and took a lot of pictures to show us what he found. We actually had a lot of damage to our chimneys and he just charged us for the inspections, since we would have to do repairs at some point instead.

Great work and professionalism from these guys from estimate to job completion. I had them install a stainless steel liner in my chimney because of a couple cracks in the flue. From what I understand Magic Sweep just got bought by Rooftop Chimney Sweeps which caused some initial confusion because I had contacted 2 other companies for estimates also but had a great experience and glad I chose these guys. Tammy, Matt, Jake and (I think)Jeremy were all very pleasant and knew what they were doing. They also took the time to explain anything I had questions about.

I’ve used Magic Sweep twice and have had two great experiences. I was able to schedule an appointment fairly last minute, and the technician sends an email when on the way. Frank made sure to explain what he was doing and was very thorough. I wasn’t overcharged or pushed to pay for services I didn’t need. Great service!

We had to get an appointment asap. We ended up going with Magic Sweep and we made a really good decision. The estimate was quick, we even got a discount for getting our dryer vent and chimney cleaned at the same time. Frank emailed me to tell me he was on his way and I appreciated the heads up as we were cleaning to move out of our current house. He had a very cheerful demeanor and was super friendly and nice. He helped us uncover that there was a birds nest in the dryer vent and he let us know it had to have been there for a while because you couldnt even hear the vacuum through the vent when standing outside next to it. We used the dryer once more after he left and there was such a change in the time for our clothes drying. He was very thorough in cleaning the chimney and making sure that there wasnt going to be any soot or dirt around the fireplace. He didnt mind our tiny dog causing a ruckus and being loud, so that was also great because we know his bark can get on peoples nerves. He told us about his dogs and that was really neat. I highly recommend you going with Frank if you need service like this done as he was quick and personable. When we need to use Magic Sweep in the future, we will specifically ask for Frank. This is our third year using Magic Sweep for chimney inspection and cleaning. Frank has come out each time and provided outstanding service. He thoroughly explains everything he does and why and includes us in every step so we see what he sees. The works space is protected and there’s never a speck of dust left behind. He’s very personable and although he works the entire time, we do enjoy a little off topic conversation. I would definitely recommend Magic Sweep to anyone with a fireplace. Keithan arrived on time and was able clean years of buildup from both of my gas fireplaces. One pilot light would not come on, which he fixed but after cleaning both units, both work like new. He was friendly and did a great job. Ive signed up for the annual cleaning service since I had such a good experience!
