They were there early and had inspected everything on the outside and even used a drone to get an aerial view of the roof and the bldg...truly impressive! He answered every question I had written on my paper before I could even ask. He explained everything to my understanding. I had a very thorough inspection report in my email the same day! Towne & Country is the most professional and thorough inspection company weve ever dealt with in the 4 other times weve hired a home inspector. Being active duty military and stationed in Alabama we couldnt be present during the home inspection and Evan Kittrell did an amazing job explaining the findings and condition of the home. Not only did Evan take a vast amount of pictures to communicate the condition of the home, he used a drone to show us the condition of the roof and exterior portions of the home we couldnt see with the naked eye. I would highly encourage any home buyer to utilize Towne & Country for their home inspection needs.

Do your research and find someone else! This place came highly recommended by someone I trust dearly. I guess the guy that used to work here no longer does. The new guy did a half a** job of inspecting the house we purchased. Many things were discovered by my husband that the inspector never even commented on! There were big ticket things that were discovered after the inspection that we could have easily put into our PICRA for repair that we ended up having to fork out the money for, ourselves, because the inspector didnt catch it! I would NEVER recommend this place for a home purchase!EDIT TO REPLY: Shows how much the owner pays attention! My insepction was not nearly 1 year ago, it was 1 month ago! We just closed on our house June 30th! And we did negotiate repairs! You are clearly very ignorant!!

Evan did the inspection on the property we are buying; he arrived early, went straight to work, and was very personable. He sent me a detailed report on the property almost immediately after the inspection was over. He also went over some of the major items on the report with me in detail. As soon as I came to the house Michael had already started looking around, as soon as he saw me he kindly greeted me and gave me the rundown of all the things he had already spotted. I was quite pleased with all the details I was provided. Any questions I had he answered even if he was in the middle of the inspection. 5 star service, I would recommend Michael to everyone. He is extremely thorough and very kind when answering all questions. I asked Micheal to crawl into the crawl space and look at a certain spot I was concerned with, he pulled out his phone and told me he looked at the spot already and showed me the picture of the spot. That showed me how thorough he was when he was in the crawl space. Great guy!

Evan came to our house for a sellers inspection. His company came highly recommended by a close friend who is a Real Estate Agent and I can see why. He was thoughtful in his work, going through every intricate detail of the house. He climbed on the roof, crawled under the tiny crawl space and everything in between. I’m in the process of buying my first home. They came out and did a thorough inspection. Mike was a friendly and informative inspector. I will use this company again in the future for further inspections.

Used them for the purchase of my first home and have regretted it from the day of closing. They have cost me over $4,000 worth of replacements that could have been avoided if documented properly during my inspection. Water heater leaking, fridge not working properly, master shower leaking into crawl space, and incorrectly pointed out a washer drain pipe that ended up being for an old baseboard heating system. All of this was after paying for 2 separate inspections! Appeared to be thorough at first glance but seemed to miss several important issues! Would not recommend.

At first it seemed like it was a nice and easy process. Until I officially started living in the home. Thousands of dollars worth of repairs that had to be made. Each contractor I used was surprised when I said I had the house inspected before purchasing. Home buying is stressful and to top it off going through the inspection process. If you use this company, I highly recommend getting a second opinion. If not, enjoy paying thousands of dollars that were unexpected due to trusting this company.

Evan did an amazing job on the home inspection. Fortunately for me there was little to find, but what he did find he was throrough in his explanations, he provided useful information moving forward when I owned the house, clamed my nerves throughout the process, provided a detailed report within minutes of completion with pictures, descriptions, etc - noted things that werent even required for a typical inspection but knowing that I was getting FHA financing he elaborated on a handrail on the garage steps etc. He was amazing in all aspects. Very professional and very thorough. He had a method for going through the house, was very patient with my and my wifes questions and always had an answer for us. The cost was $200 less then other inspectors in the area. He immediately responded to my request and was very flexible with my schedule to make sure I could be there. Also he was incredibly friendly and courteous.

In November I requested a copy of our home inspection from August 27th, Evan never responded. I sent a second email stating why I needed the report and how unhappy I was because of the seriousness of the damage he overlooked concerning the fireplace-still no response. Apparently once he walks off the property and cashes your check, you are no longer important. Two days later I was able to get a copy from our buyers agent.In the report he noted some rust, needs repair on the fireplace...apparently his professional opinion is seriously impaired. The entire side of our fireplace is rotted out. The 3 chimney companies we received quotes from all said that the inspector should have noticed more than just some rust. The fireplace is leaning outward by 1 1/2 inches and should have been obvious to a professional just by looking at the front of it. If he had gone on the roof he would have seen multiple holes in the chimney cap. These holes led to multiple rusted out spots in the firebox, rotted studs as well as a rotted chase. Evans lack of integrity is now costing us over $8000.00 to replace our fireplace. He also noted that the garbage disposal didnt work and needed replacing. When we moved in, my husband pushed the reset button and the disposal worked. I will never recommend this company or him.The photos are of the damage noted assome rust, needs repair or are of the company currently doing the work...not Towne and Country Propery Inspections!!
