After many, so many, bad experiences with car dealerships, I have to say that my husband and I are absolutely impressed with Bob Gale (VW) and Kathleen D. (business office). This past month, we not only purchased one Volkswagen, but two vehicles from this team. We highly recommend them!
Worst customer service Ive dealt with in the last 15 years of me purchasing vehicles at any dealer. They either dont anser calls or tell you they will check on it and never return the call. Somehow no matter what time of day or what day of the week you call they do not have a manager available. I litteraly ended up asking the receptionist for a manager or supervisor in any depatrment and of the 8 different people I was told I would be transfered to not a single one answered the phone. They are only attentive in the begining with attempting to make the sale but after that you dont exist anymore and dont warrent their time or asistance. I Would not recommend doing business here unless its a new vehicle with a warrenty that would allow you to not have to return to them at all for anything whatsoever.
This is one of those things you just can’t make up! Absolutely terrible business practices.Saw an amazing deal for an amazing vehicle at Cherry Hill Imports (Audi) 4 days before driving 200 miles to go see the vehicle in person and to test drive the vehicle and buy it; mind you 2 days before making the trip to Cherry Hill Imports (Audi) I tried to put in a deposit on the vehicle as I was 100% certain I was going to bring the vehicle home however upon trying to do so the dealership said that they were not accepting any deposits for the vehicle.Upon arriving to Cherry Hill Imports (Audi) one of the employees Jack would not allow me to take the vehicle to a certified Mercedes Independent shop to proceed with a PPI which I had scheduled and was given the OK to do so the day before arriving; not to mention they wouldn’t even allow me to remove the splash shield of the car on their own lift as anyone should check any vehicle before purchasing for any leaks/fluids ect. I was only able to perform my own inspection as thoroughly as I could with the splash shield still intact. The attitude of denying this even though it was agreed upon was absolutely absurd and rude.Moving on I test drove the vehicle and checked for any weird sounds during my drive and the vehicle seemed solid and I was happy with the results. Upon returning I was ready to purchase the vehicle and insurance was set and everything was set. Mark (head of sales) returns to me and say “I don’t know how to tell you this but unfortunately the car was sold last night after hours”. I was the first person to see the vehicle today as it was for sale online and on the lot and was denied the right to purchase the vehicle because apparently their was an unfair deal proposed with another buyer through nothing but text messages. Bear in mind the dealership specifically said that they would be not taking any deposits for the vehicle and as Mark specifically explains that the other buyer used his vehicle as a deposit trade in value the night before after hours. So basically I drove 200 miles to be denied a vehicle that was available and for sale! I was denied to put a deposit down for this specific vehicle that I was interested in while another buyer was allowed to trade in his vehicle through a text message and word of mouth as a deposit for the vehicle I was interested in. There was no proof of any transactions, no proof of signed documents, and no proof of any electronic documents for the purchase of the vehicle I was interested in. That is not how you do business with a a customer especially one that is ready to pay and take a car home. I feel cheated and have wasted my valuable time. I will not be doing business with Cherry Hill Imports in the future. This experience was one of those things you cannot make up.P.S. Mark offered $300 check for all of my inconveniences of the trip. I’ll be waiting for that check! As a fellow automotive enthusiast and someone whose bought countless high performance cars over the years. I would advise to stay away for any type of vehicle purchase!
We bought an E Tron this week and the experience could not have been better. If you are thinking of an electric car, definitely check this one out, and ask for Joel Mazie at Cherry Hill Audi. He was great!
Working with Brian Shadduck was a pleasure. Straight-forward, prompt and did not waste our time. We were in and out with my dream vehicle thanks to Brian and his finance team. Highly recommend asking for Brian.
If you’re looking for a nice used vehicle this is where I would go and I urge you to ask for Albert as your salesman. I just returned from a year long deployment in the Middle East and was in need of a new truck. I saw one online and inquired about it and was able to come in, test drive, and purchase a new truck within the hour. Any questions I’ve had post-purchase Albert responded with helpful answers immediately. 10/10 recommend. Love my truck.
Cherry Hill Volkswagen 🤗😁😉 Wonderful car buying experience. No pressure at all. My salesman, Marcus Robinson was wonderful. Very knowledgeable about the brand. Took the time to explain everything in detail. Highly recommend this dealership and this salesman. The whole process was smooth.
Outstanding place! Ive been getting service here for ~2 years and they always go above and beyond to take care of me. My main service advisor, Myles, who always does an incredible job, always looks out for me and gives me the best service while staying within my budget. Andrew is also another adviser who recently helped me a did a great job and made sure everything was repaired and covered under my warranty budget. All around 110% satisfaction with this place with the service all around. Again, kudos to the service advisers especially Myles!
The people at Cherry Hill Volkswagen make the experience. Really great service assistance that go the extra mile. Ive been a dedicated customer since 2003. Expensive but work is done right and I trust the service. Thank you!
Kyle went above and beyond to answer questions and assist me with all the technical information on the vehicle. He was very patient and knowledgeable. Made my life easy to make decision. One Very SATISFIED customer!!
The service was fantastic. They communicated all times and prices clearly, and when they couldn’t meet the original time projection, they called as soon as they found out to let me know.
Brian was a great service manager to me. My 2013 VW CC came back to me better than I expected really. Everything was done just like Brian said. They even cleaned the car inside and out. No hassle, no problem. They are very busy at the VW service shop, and Brian gave me a heads up, so no worries at all. Great job Brian, very satisfied. Scott
We bought our Audi Q5 from here even though we live down in the Washington DC area a couple years ago. The staff was friendly and they helped us into a car we liked at the time.We recently came in looking to trade in our Audi Q5 and get into a Volkswagen Atlas but we didnt even come close to making a deal. There was a sense of disinterest between the Audi and VW staff that may be a disconnect in communication between the two. But we were provided a low trade-in value and not much in the realm of incentive to retain our business. We were presented with a take it or leave it feeling and that they were doing us a favor. Not what we expected when our family has purchased at least 4 cars from them over the past 20 years. Also, we have considered getting our car serviced when up in the area visiting family that lives down the street from this dealership and were told that they have a booking backlog for service that is over a month. That is absolutely ridiculous! We can take our car to Audi of Arlington in the Washington DC area at a moments notice and have it back the same day with excellent service. You would think that with a new fancy facility this would alleviate the problem, but no.We will keep our business down in the Washington DC area.
They made the process of buying a used car easy and quick. Quality car and a great price. Great dealership and great people. Chea Jones did an excellent job. I’d go back in a minute.
We bought a GTI from this VW dealership in 2018 and were treated very well. So we went back to the same salesman (Kyle Duckworth) when we were looking at possibly getting a Golf R. Same low key, respectful, professional sales service. They bent over backwards in trying to find the car we wanted. While we didnt end up buying a car at this dealership, I would highly recommend them (especially Kyle) for anyone in the market for a VW.
Best car buying experience ever ! ! ! best salesperson ever => Kyle Duckworth ! ! ! best sales manager ever => Vince Decaro ! ! !very easy going . . . no pressure . . . fast and flowing purchase
Excellent, excellent, excellent! My service manager Myles is on point. Great communication, excellent professionalism and great service.
I bought a used Audi from Cherry Hill Imports recently and the entire experience was fantastic. I was helped by Joel Mazie who was extremely knowledgeable about the car and all of my financing options. We made a very fair deal for both parties and a few days after the sale he called to make sure that everything was good with the car and that I was completely satisfied. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an honest and fair deal. I will be giving them my business for life.
Always a great experience for me. The reps are friendly and customer oriented. I havent had any issues with the work they do on my car.
Good place to buy a car. Their mechanics do good work, they have loaner cars too. Friendly staff and good service.
Good service..not alot of people working there on Saturday.
I needed an oil change for my car. They fit me in on Monday and 1 hour later the car was done. Since this was the first oil change of this car they shared with me everything that they looked at and what we will need to do next time. Even told me when the next coupons are coming out and when to look for them. Glad I picked Cherry Hill Imports for the servicing of my car.
Beware of over charging! My son brought his 2017 Jetta here over the summer and had it serviced... it went fine, no issues, had Bob as our Service Advisor. A couple of weeks ago, my younger daughter... bought her first car with her two years of summer savings -- a 2012 Jetta -- for $5,000 from a used car dealer elsewhere. We brought it to Cherry Hill VW to have it looked over, have a recall taken care of, brakes checked, wiper motor replaced, electrical issues taken care of, and the fuel door fixed because it didnt open correctly. The Service Advisor, Jose, right away told us to expect $275 in Labor for checking into the electrical issues (3 hours?). Note: I know a mechanic there and requested he work on the car. When Jose called and sent me a price quote for the work, it totalled over $3,700, and didnt yet include the ADDITIONAL Labor for the mechanic looking into the spaghetti mess of electrical wires in the car. Unknown to Jose, the mechanic had already texted me to tell me he found the wire that was causing the issue and snipped it and all looked good... so Jose blatantly LIED about the spaghetti mess of wires and the need for extra charges. The $3,700 also included items that the car could use, but didnt need, like a timing belt and water pump costing $875 that is maintenance that the car will be due for in 5 or 10,000 miles... brakes that worked fine but could use refreshing. Its a $5,000 car owned by a teenager, why would they recommend $3,700 worth of work? Telling a customer who doesnt know the mechanic that they just let their daughter purchase a car with a spaghetti mess of wires, when it was not true, is sleezy.I requested only to have the fuel door replaced, the wiper motor replaced, synthetic oil change and the recall... they kep the car in the shop for 7 DAYS.. and Im pretty sure they didnt do the oil change because its not on the receipt... and I still paid over $1,400.Sorry this review is taking forever... but my other daughter also bought a car... a used Subaru we purchased at the same independent used car dealer. When I brought her car in to get checked out at Miller Subaru, they gave me a priority list of what needs to be done and when for her, and a loaner car for the day... and I got her car back the same day... and they also replaced her windshield wiper motor due to a recall... same day.Im giving Cherry Hill VW two stars instead of one because Bob seemed unhappy that Jose lied, not sure if he did anything about it though, and my friend the mechanic was great to thoroughly check out the car and probably saved me a few hundred $$$ by being in touch with me.
Terrible service. My car has been in the shop for 2.5 months and they keep saying they will give us updates. They told us it would be ready a month ago and they do not call to update us, we have to call them. Each time we talk to them, they claim there is something new wrong with the car and we have to wait another week. They tell us the day it will be ready and continue to extend it. I would not recommend and it is extremely inefficient. I’m still waiting on my car. It’s been in since December 23rd and it’s March 7th now.
Have been a customer for almost 20 years. Great service, great care for clients and their cars! Nice waiting area and easily assessible.
Great place . abraham in Porsche or the guys in Audi will take care of you !
Stopped in without an appointment when I received a tire pressure warning from my Audi A4. The service team was extremely helpful and kind. Just terrific!
This is one of best dealership I have ever work with. Excellent customer service, service advisor go the extra mile to accommodate and ensure that you have great experience. I have planned to get my next Audi from them!
Very professional and clean environment. Chea Jones was of great assistance with purchasing my A4.
Great service. thanks guys
Wonderful service, took my car in for service at Volkswagen, had no problems since, mechanic called as soon as my car became available for pick-up, oh and they gave me a brand new 2018 Atlas as a loaner!
I was treated like I was beneath them. Actually one of the Sales Men actually told me that I was out league. When I questioned him about an A7. I requested him to explain why he felt that I was out of my league. He suggested that I get someone else to help meWhen he returned with a new salesman the gentleman was African American. Tell me that this wasnt a racist act. Please people dont allow this to continue. We have to spend our money wisely. Please dont support this business.
A month ago we purchased a VW Beetle from Cherry Hill Imports. After going to a couple other dealers we found the car we wanted and were very LUCKY to have Kyle Duckworth as our Sales Representative. He was low key, to the point and didnt play and ridiculous games. We bought the car after a test drive left the dealership in record time. It was such a pleasure, even though we live an hour north east we couldnt be more pleased and would consider buying another car there.
It wasnt the best experience but it wasnt the worst. I expected to be approached within 15 minutes of walking the lot and visually inspecting my possible future purchase..
Good selection of vehicles but I tend to find theyre not as willing to negotiate as other dealers and I get better deals in PA.
Myles T is best service tech.
Got my first VW ever (18 Tiguan) serviced here. Excellent 👍 👍 👍 service department. Sales as well. I love this dealer. They kept me informed throughout the repairs and the oil change / service was very competitive in pricing. Easy to recommend for any VW needs. This will NOT be my last VW at this point. The Tiguan is absolutely a terrific vehicle and the price. Bargain !!
Bill Simmons in service is a star! he went way out of his way to get me my car back in time to catch a flight. Outstanding customer service!
My daughter had service done to her 2007 Jetta. They contradicted what their discussion was with me and my service warranty company towards a refurbished transmission. After my discussion with the service warranty administrator about the transmission that they were going to have one shipped to their location they (Cherry Hill Imports) stated no because it was against their policy. Cherry Hill Imports state the same thing about the service warranty administrator. That does not make any since because this is why you have a private warranty contract. Cherry Hill Imports took me for $1500. Of course they blame the warranty company. Know they are trying to get me for a windshield in which a rode rock put a crack into.
I had a wonderful experience. They put a dream in my driveway and I cannot be happier. Thank you Cherry Hill Imports!!
Great dealership and Dorothy was my salesperson I have to say she was exceptional she answered all my question and she very patient. I recommend the dealership and I recommend you ask for Dorothy.
I went in over this past weekend to look at an advertised pre-owned Acura. I met with Andrew Garber, the most assuring, honest sales person I have ever met. You hear stories all of the time of being up-sold. Not Andrew. He actually down my wife and to a less expensive car that is a much better value (for me, not the dealership). I cannot say enough positive things about Andy. If you are in the market, do yourself a favor and go the Cherry Hill Audi and ask to see Andy.
VW service is always great! Also, if they have any left, they provide loaners for major service
Is the best car dealship I have ever been to, best buying experience ever! I will buy cars here even if move to the west coast.
Audis and porsches are expensive without saying. I mean it borders on the ridiculous. But if money isnt a concern then they really are too of the line-ish. Bentley and rolls Royce are of course superior. That being said Volkswagen despite their emissions issues are extremely well priced and you are basically paying 250 to 300 a month for a Mercedes with less options. Bob gale is our sales person. He helps us with whatever we need no problem. Prices are ok like I said but you have to negotiate. Service is good. Sometimes you have to call back because they dont answer which is kind of a pain but all in all I like them and buy all my wear and tear stuff there.
I want buying a car but returning one and they were very cooperative. They also didnt try the hard sell which I appreciated
I recently bought an A-3 convertible. We were so fortunate to have Andrew Garber as our Audi Specialist who was amazing to work with. Having bought many cars in my life, I never had such a pleasurable experience than I had with Andrew and Cherry Hill Imports.Personable and extremely knowledgeable, Andrew made us feel welcome and immediately at ease. Andrews experience and expertise were evident throughout our learning and shopping experience. His patience is a virtue and much appreciated. We took the car home last week and were pleasantly surprised to hear from Andrew who was making sure that everything was fine with the car and whether we had additional questions.Cherry Hill Imports should take pride in its customer service and is so fortunate to have such a terrific person in its employ the likes of Andrew Garber.HW of Lewes, Delaware
Went in to buy a Porsche was treated like I didnt even exist.very rude salesman . I would never even consider going back to buy anything.
Great, service. Very detailed oriented
Goal of this dealer appears to be to create expenses for the customer to drive revenue, not caring about the car and customer satisfaction . As a result I am now concerned that my car will come out damaged to create repairs.Drove through a construction zone and then immediately heard noise. Think a pebble is lodged.Gave them oil change business and asked them for a free multi point inpection and they want to charge me.When a customer thinks they have a problem they decide they dont want to do a free inspection and charge, especially if they think the customer is in a jam.Bad business because I have always used another VW dealer farther away for my 13 Jetta and felt like I wanted to give them some business and see how it compared.Im now deeply concerned they will might do something to the car that will justify an expensive service cost since the drive of the service department here is to create expenses for the customer.I thought originally they would do good for the car because they seemed nice in sales and service. Is it possible this can be corrected? I just would like caring for the car as a priority, fair honest prices, and caring well for the car and minimizing costs wherever possible over creating charges.Just messaged them about an issue under warranty that is faultyOk, I will have the tech look into this issue. There is a check out charge for this of $114.88 plus tax. This is charged only if the problem is not related to the warranty extension. So you would like me to move forward with the checking of the key getting stuck issue you just stated?? Thank you, JJ(name removed as a courtesy)Cherry Hill ImportsI dug through my paperwork and found the warranty letter which the parameters should be on file. In the letter, VW states clearly that there is no cost to me for diagnosis. Its a good thing that VW corporate tries to have my back and not allow unethical methods of creating costs to the customer.I will say that are very considerate and friendly on the sales floor. The place is clean and confortable. The cars are nicely displayed on the lot. Many of the employees are extremely professional and kind, such as Bob.
Great customer service by Jared at VW
Parts department is terrible. They will ship your order 2 weeks late, while ignoring you. No you may not speak to anyone, you will be transferred to a voicemail no matter how many times you call and will never be responded to.
Excellent customer service they know how to treat people
Good people there, wanting you to be a loyal customer
Now I dont normally write reviews as they are most almost not truthful but in my case I had to share with everyone because my experience was so horrible I wouldnt want anyone to go through what I did. Lets begin, now the car I was after was pretty rare but that doesnt excuse their behavior. Once I arrived at the dealership my salesman (Kyle Duckworth) was no where to be found. Fast forward to the finance person who was in the Audi Building Jenna Dobois, talk about rude and unprofessional. I was told 3 times that because I was told the car came with all season tires and it only had summer tires that maybe this wasnt the car for me, as and I quote our customers can afford to buy a second set of rims so if you cant then maybe this isnt the car for you I was able to swallow that and keep going, which looking back I should have gone home at that point. Now here is where it all get worse. I waited for them to register the car as thats what they charged me for. The temp plate they gave me expired and I still had no registration. So began my calls, first I was told the guy who does registrations quit, then after 4 more calls and me yelling at a few people I was able to speak to Shannon who said she is the office manager. She assured me that she would take care of this. I also spoke with Andrew Hartung General Sales Manager who also assured me he would make sure it was taken care of. Well a week later I received a registration in the mail, but it wasnt mine! Yes it was registered to a plate that I didnt own. I place another call to Shannon and she first said that it was my fault, then changed her tune and admitted they messed up. She said let her fix it, after 2 more weeks I didnt hear from anyone. I placed 4 more calls and left 4 messages. Now the timeline is this purchased the car 10/18, sent wrong registration 11/11, now we are at 12.9, after calling and demanding to speak to someone, they found Shannon who just 5 minutes ago wasnt available. Shannon said she had been busy doing new deals and did t have time to get back to me, She stated that there was nothing they could do and I would have to go to my DMV and fix it myself. So after paying a dealer conveyance fee and a Registration fee, I now had to go pay my DMV to fix what they had done. I would now have to pay my own DMV to fix their screw up, not to mention go sit for hours losing out on work to go and do this! I asked to speak with an owner of the busniess and was told no,she would have someone call me. That didnt happen. So I have left out alot as this whole thing could be several paragraphs but I think you get the idea. I have purchased countless cars in my lifetime and never once dealt with a worse dealership and not to mention the lack of concern they showed. If this review doesnt do it for you and make you go somewhere else then....I also waited to see if they would take care of this issue before posting a horrible review.
