Our first trip to the new Bernina Sew N Quilt Studio was really pleasant and informative. The store is open and inviting, with separate areas for sewing machine sales, fabrics, sewing motions, classroom and machine quilting. Lots of beautiful fabrics to choose from and well be back for those. The people at BSNQS were all very friendly and were happy to answer any questions. Megan was our guide through the store and buying experience. She also made sure to tell us about the upcoming Christmas in July promotion.

What a wonderful place for all quilters and wannabes to shop! Their thread selections are beautiful and best quality. The bold, vibrant colours of the cloth here tell their own stories of exceptional materials. Tools, and machines, parts, classes, books and look at those amazing quilts being quilted, amazing!

This is the first time I have been with my wife when she went into this store. I was blown away by how beautiful and spacious it is. All the employees are extremely friendly and helpful.My wife is the regional coordinator for Quilts of Valor for the Chattanooga, Tennessee and the surrounding area. She is a major quilter. We own a quilting retreat center. All this is to say that I have visited many quilt stores in my time, but this one is absolutely the best and most impressive!As a quilting husband, I am enjoying a large and comfortable separate room for husbands to relax, drink coffee, and eat snacks while my wife is shopping. Most often, at best, stores have one small chair for husbands.I enjoyed a very informative and relaxing conversation with the store director. I even learned today for the first time that there is fabric with just toilet paper rolls, if you can believe that! I learned that since COVID, sewing has jumped from 26 to 2 for national hobbies! Before COVID I paid to have a sewing machine repaired as a surprise for my mother in law and it still did not work. The cost of the repair was more than the new one my mother in law purchased because the machine did not sew properly . The repair cost was also more than what was quoted or expected

I took the van show classEs provided by Handi quilter This past weekend and if any of you see this class available again take it. It was 3 days packed with hands on learning not only the basics of the machine, but tips on free hand, ruler work, and learning the pro stitcher. Gina was a very knowledgeable educator from Handi quilter full of tips and helpful hints. The staff at the store, well they are just fantastic and the new location is beautiful, they are working hard to get everything set up and every time I go you see the progress they are making, to get it just right. Owners and staff are very helpful, taking time to answer all your questions. When I splurged on a Bernina quilting machine, the price/package was very competitive, and support continued after the purchase. Store is well supplied; service department is busy with a 2-week wait, but rates are good. I recommend this place without hesitation.

Bernina Sew N Quilt Studio just performed a miracle for us! Handed them an unrecognizable disaster of a highly sentimental project that needed a complete overhaul on a very short schedule. They accepted the challenge. Michelle and Melissa spent numerous hours disassembling the original glued-together piece and reworked into a masterpiece! I gave them artistic carte blanche and their decisions were perfect every time. What was a $50 throw-away, became a $1000 museum quality heirloom. How do I know? We used it in a raffle and the new quilt raised over $1200 for us. I highly recommend Berninas. The large format Bernina computer sewing machine was the secret weapon. That and the dedicated professional expertise provided by Michelle. What a great experience for me and our Club to have found this awesome business. We will be forever grateful.

I came in for a sewing and embroidery machine. After telling the associate that I needed something super basic for throw pillows, she showed me a quick demo of the machine she recommended. I asked how much it cost. $3499. Offered me financing. Someone looking for super basic isnt going to finance a machine for a hobby. She pointed out their cheapest embroidery machine for $2100....

Repair service technician, Logan, is fantastic! My sewing machine was running terribly and he fixed it beautifully. Logan explained everything that he did to get it working properly. It was not an easy fix with the number of things that werent right. All of the store personal that I spoke with were friendly and helpful as well. I have been to multiple Bernina dealerships over the years (Ive moved a lot) and Bernina Sew N Quilt Studio is by far the best!!!

I have only been a “remote” customer but have found their customer service to be excellent. They are more than willing to answer any questions you have. I have ordered items from them and the prices are fair and delivery quick.I have been throughly enjoying their virtual learning. It’s wonderful to have interactive classes that you can “attend” from home.I’m so glad I found this shop, just wish they weren’t 11+ hours away from my home. Maybe one day I’ll take a trip to Chattanooga 😀

·I just completed a virtual guide class with Teresa - it was great. I live 95 miles from the shop and I had personal training that pertained strictly to my new machine. Thanks Teresa for introducing me to the terrific buttonhole capability this machine has! That alone will increase my sewing enjoyment.

Huge inventory and helpful staff. Its worth a walk through to see what products and machines they carry. Their classroom space and the list of events that happen there is very exciting. This recently expanded store seems to be have so many different things to pique the interest of so many particular types of sewing. I saw machines and supplies for embroidery, clothing design and construction, quilting, applique, and lots more. If there is a big birthday coming up for someone special, its a great place to buy an unforgettable gift!

These people are marvels at what they do!I called to get some info on Bernina warranties on a machine I was looking at buying used from a private party. By the time I got off the phone, I was set up to buy one from Melissa and Bill. Im so glad I called.I drove up the next day to pick up my 880+, and they gave me education right there on the spot, even staying a little past closing time to answer all of my and my partners questions.Ive since made the nearly two-hour drive twice to take classes, and Im thrilled at the expertise and patience Ive been shown (Logan and Teresa, hats off to you for your excellent customer interactions).Cant wait to see the new location at Hamilton Crossing and take part in further education there. Bernina Sew N Quilt Studio has responded to the stay at home order with Zoom classes to provide Bernina lovers with continuing education classes that are extremely well done, paced for all levels, and just fun to attend. Kudos to you for your ability to roll with the flow!!

Oh, my gosh!! These folks are wonderful!! My sweet little Bernina 770 was acting up and my local dealer (Kennesaw, GA) told me it would be approximately 2 weeks for them to look at it. So, I drove all the way from metro Atlanta to Chattanooga and they took care of my issue WHILE I WAITED!! Thank you!They were all so friendly, brought me water while I waited, asked about my sewing interests, etc. They also sharpen scissors right in the store! This was well worth the drive and I will definitely be back for service and shopping. (They also had a well stocked store of machines, feet, threads, fabrics, and a ton of sewing/quilting notions.) Yay!!

Im taking the beginner quilting class and learning so much! They let me try a Bernina Sewing Machine for one of the classes before deciding whether or not I wanted to buy it. What an experience! It made sewing so much easier and I will be making the official purchase at my next class...a great machine at a very affordable price. The material they sell is really wonderful- top quality, as are the people who work there.

I have bought more than one machine from Bill And he has always done a great job servicing my Berninas and has always given me a fair price. He and Melissa are very friendly and I would not buy a Bernina from anyone else. I am very lucky to have them in this area. Great place to shop!!!

Absolutely love Bill and all the members of the team! I recently brought a bernina up to be serviced and he did a great job on it. Also entrusted him with my tin Lizzie long arm...and he has it sewing better than it has since it was new!! Cant say enough nice things about his service and his support. Hes just wonderful. I used to use Chattanooga Sewing Machines for servicing my Berninas. Once they quit doing so they informed me that the closest Bernina around would be in Knoxville. I found this Bernina store in Chattanooga and Im so glad that I did. I dropped off 2 B 330s and within a week I had them back. Not only did they service my machines I was told about an issue that I should expect due to the high use that we put on our machines. Before I left the store I ended purchasing the B 740. Bill sat with me and gave me the basic run through of what I needed to know to get this beast of a machine going, lol. I love this machine, pretty much any Bernina actually. Everyone in the store were so super nice and I appreciated that! Everyone seemed to love what they do and really appreciated their customer. I came in 5 mins before they were to close and Im sure they were ready to go home, but they treated me as if I had walked in as soon as they opened. You have my business from here on out. And if I know anyone who needs a machine I always tell them to go with a Bernina, now I know where to tell them to buy that Bernina at. Thank you so much for servicing my machines! And so quick

If I wasnt still receiving contact I would not have posted this review. I am wary and will not go to this shop again.I would take the owners response to this with an incredible grain of salt. The moment I wanted to remove my deposit they began to explain that I misunderstood several things about what they had said to me. Theres a bernina dealership in Atlanta Ive been going to since and Ive had a much better experience! I highly recommend bernina machines, I just would not provide this dealership with any private information.

Bill and Melissa are most helpful. I just purchased my second Handiquilter longarm sewing machine from them. They go out of their way to provide excellent service.

They are honest and will go the extra mile to help you. The owner is the one who works on the machines sohe doesnt have to send them off for repair. They carry everything you could possibly need to sew. It is a job y to shop there!!
