We are very pleased with their services. We bought our home about 1 1 /2 years ago. The yard was very bad with weeds. We picked weedman to spray our yard, they did spray as agreed to, and did kill some weeds. But after 2 summers we saw little effect on the appearance of our yard... after getting 2 references (very good), we did ask weed doctor to do our yard. I cant brag enough on their service. After 1 treatment the weeds (including crab grass) died, gone ... at least 85%. Now they have sprayed again. Yes, get them and have a beautiful yard.

I had very pleasant interactions with the owner. And he was always very courteous. My lawn definitely deteriorated over time however. I had been using an alternate local service that was acquired by True Green before I switched to Lawn Doctor (as I wanted a more local touch), so the lawn had been in fairly decent condition with few weeds. By the time I canceled my service with Lawn Doctor, it was inundated with weeds, and had become quite sparse. I attempted to bring it to his attention once, and he did send someone out again to respray once. But the lawn continued to sprout more and more weeds, and I eventually canceled my contract with them to find alternate help. I did not use their seeding service, just the weed control. I would steer others away from using their weed control. I don’t have experience with their seeding, so I can’t speak to the satisfaction of that particular service.

Ive used the seed injection and fertilizing service several times and have been very pleased. The germination rate for new seed seems better than with core aeration and seeding. My lawn looks verdant and healthy.

I am not sure about their lawn care results but I did encounter an aggressive driver and truck number two. He was doing double the speed limit through the construction zone and swerved from the far right land to the left lane and barely missed us. We we tried calling the company but it goes to voicemail and no one has returned our call.

Lawn Doctor performed a power seeding last fall and I have the best looking lawn i have had in 30 years verses with conventional overseeding...It looks fantastic and is very thick..Additionally, one of the nemesis i have had for years has been the wild violet weed which is EXTREMELY difficult to control.Although it is only late Spring it appears that Lawn Doctors preventative application is working far better than other lawn services have been able to accomplish,,,Good company with responsive managment...

Last year we purchased a new home in Chattanooga. The yard was nothing but weeds and I wanted a plush, green yard to add curb appeal to the house. I had used a company for 15 years at another location, and they kept telling me they would be out next week, but next week never came!!. I started researching other companies and found The Lawn Doctor. After reading about the company, etc., I made the call and the owner came out to discuss what I had and what I wanted. He was upfront, honest, and told me what we needed to do to get this done, but it would take 1 - 2 years to get the results I wanted. I knew I needed to add an irrigation system and some top soil, and he began doing what he needed to do. It has been one year and my yard has made a total transformation! My neighbors have been asking me what I have done to get my yard this far along and I tell them to call the Lawn Doctor. It has been a partnership with them as I do make sure I keep the lawn watered and I do keep and eye out for weeds and spray them as they come up.The owner and his wife have been fantastic to work with and my yard is really shaping up. This is the first review I have ever done, but I am totally sold on The Lawn Doctor!!

Good crew and good leadership- recommend them

This past season was a good one for our lawn. We have used Lawn Doctor for several years and we went from practically no grass to a nice thick green lawn of fescue. Lawn Doctor followed a routine of applying fertilizer and weed control several times during the year.

They are so much better than the big dog, TruGreen. I constantly keep getting harassed by TruGreen to come back and NEVER will. The Lawn Doctor folks are great, responsive, listen, and are helpful. Most importantly, they worked better than TruGreen did with getting rid of my weeds and keeping them gone. They are easy to talk to and dont harass you like the TruGreen folks do.

Ive been using Lawn Doctor for just over a year and my lawn is looking much better. Ive used them for general lawn maintenance including power seeding and for insect spray. I noticed a huge decrease in insects and mosquitos in our yard with those treatments. Im awaiting growth from power seeding. The staff are all very knowledgeable and very friendly.

About two years ago my yard was looking terrible. I called Lawn Doctor after a recommendation from a friend. A week or so later they came out, gave me an estimate, and have been treating my yard ever since then. I have one of the greenest yards in the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend them to friends and neighbors. As a matter of fact I already recommended them to my neighbor and he said he was giving them a call because of how good my yard looked.

Just starting our 2nd year with Allen and Lawn Doctor. Year 1 was with a newly sodded yard with a lot of weeds coming up. Allen and the team were on it from the beginning. A visit by Allen ( The Owner ) and explanation of what weeds we were dealing with and their approach to getting rid of them. I was impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the team and communication with us. They provided special attention to some problem areas too. I used to do all the stuff myself, but with their knowledge and equipment let the pros do it. If you want a great yard Give Allen and Lawn Doctor a call.This doesnt happen overnight let them do their thing.

Im not going to leave a 1 star review because I have no experience w/ your company as far as lawn maintenance. I DO however have experience with your very aggressive van driver this morning through the downtown S curves and construction zone who rode my bumper all the way through even though I was going 50+ myself to keep with traffic. Once I got out of his way, he rode others bumpers until he caught up w/ the other driver. I personally work for a commercial business who also has van drivers and work to keep them in check to avoid complaints like this one. It was van #1. There was another of your vans a bit ahead of him who was driving very responsibly. There are workers in these zones all the time; they have families. How would your driver feel if he hit and hurt or God forbid killed one of them right before Christmas. Slow down and be responsible.

During the 8 months this company serviced the property there has been a progressive worsening of the front lawn. The backyard lawn was never serviced even that it was included in the service. During this time nobody has evaluated the result of treatment or provided suggestion for improvement of the unhealthy lawn.
