I feel the Presence of the Lord in this place! Everyone is so kind and loving as they serve those in need.

They help many people and are a blessing in this community.

Upstairs dorm is so tight & crowded you cant pick your nose without bumping someone. Food was good, and free of charge. Staff doesnt even attempt to lighten peoples loads by allowing some space for day storage.Carry your whole life on your back and shoulders -Chatt Rescue Mission motto

Last night I was in desperate need of some items and my needs were exceeded by a mile. I thank God for the Chattanooga Rescue Mission and the services they provide (through which Ive been so blessed) . I lift CRM up in prayer ; David, Rosa, Morgan, Don, Ron, Mark, Alex, and every other person putting forth their time and effort in this ministry and each and every donor. God bless you guys abundantly above all that you can ask or think. 🙏

My call was answered after around 9ish pm. It was cold outside. I was allowed in and given a bed. Ty all.

Overall, this is a good place....the people who work here are so amazing. They are nice an kind an help us the best way they can. What I dont like is how they allow some people to bully an harass others an do nothing about it. They have this one female who lives there who name is Ci Ci an she is a loose cannon an so is her maniac boyfriend maurice. She has gotten into so many arguments on a daily basis with women an she picks, the staff knows this but does nothing about it. There has been so many complaints an no one does anything. I really do see a lawsuit in the near future, they are responsible. I stayed there for 2 weeks an never went back... it was torture.Whats the point of opening your doors to people in need if you cant rectify a bad situation. Why let the situation progress.... Im sure she is still there bullying the women....

If you need a bed and a meal and a shower, this is the best option. Not perfect and there are rules. Chapel every night is mandatory. Church on Sunday is mandatory if you stay Saturday night. But overall a safe place to be at night.

Really good place you get a great service from my church when we come the second Sunday of every month

If you get there early enuff you can get a bed and they feed you as well its nice if younedd a place to stay

They were eager to assist,great meal for supper more than you can eat service is always interesting different speakers every evening.They help to provide you with your basic needs....

The people there are very nice and offer to help in anyway they can and even feed you a meal. I only stayed 1 Night not sure if they feed people often but I know they like to have chapel as a get together and for being thankful for those of us that can be there.

They do amazing work in the community. Incredible operation.

Its a place to lay your head down and relax however I do think they should let us stay through out the day in stead of making us leave

I enjoy working here. It gives me a chance to help others who need the help. And I get to see first hand the difference the rescue mission has on the lives of people.

The Chattanooga Rescue Mission may be considered to be a great place to escape a cold night on the street for the dispossessed of Chattanooga. Most nights, a bed may be had, but there are no guarantees. Clean bedding, a solid meal, sermon and shower all figure into the evening. As one of Chattanoogas dispossessed, I often found myself at the Mission, until my outdoor skills reached a level that allowed me to actually enjoy the freedom of being outside, but its not a life I recommend to everyone.Some may bag on the Mission, but if one can remain civil, hold ones tongue and steer clear of certain rogues of the staff, your stay may just keep you safer than might otherwise be likely on the street. Add to that, that the Mission often dispenses much-needed clothing, and you just might find the Mission to be a valuable resource while youre getting back on your feet. I know Im grateful for their existence...

The people there are great.There are rules and they are strict but I stayed at the night shelter at the Kitchen and it was not the place I wanted to be.The mission is a good christian place to be the word is great the food is good and everything is clean.

They say that they are a Christian people... Haha I went in and forgot to turn my phone off. All I did was pull it out of my pocket and turned it off. Jerry saw me and would not give me s chance to say anything. He all but cursed me out. Told me to get my ID and get out of there. So you see why I would question their Christianity.

Nice place to go when you have nowhere else to go

I called in need of a place to get away from an abusive situation. They called me back within a couple of days to check on me. I was really grateful. I am sure that I will need them if this abuse dont end and it looks like not.

Great help for homeless people

Warm bed, free meals, clothing assistance, and people volunteer to hold bible study with the less fortunate.

Its a good place out of the cold.

Its safe, warm, clean, church, served with kindness. Graititude.

Shelter, comfort, and unity. There is a necessity of ministers and counselors here so that the broken may receive a 2nd Chance.
