My marriage, personal life and spiritual life have greatly improved as a result of the counseling I have received here. While I could not afford a licensed counselor, the intern rate makes the cost easily manageable for me. The interns are all very professional and passionate about what they do. I love that all the counselors here approach their clients holistically, bringing in the spiritual perspective, and the fact that they are Christians makes me feel understood when I talk about my faith. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to sort out their issues with a compassionate listener and never be judged.

I called several times to make an appointment after a counselor recommended a specific practioner at Richmont.Everytime I called I was told the practioner had not responded to the note left for her. After 3 weeks, I stopped calling.I did finally call back, about 2 months later, to see if there was actually a response to my previous message. The receptionist said she had no information. I would have to start the request over. She said the practioner may not have seen the note or it may have been misplaced unintentionally.This is an unacceptable and broken process in handling appointment requests. If the counseling center does not want to invest in technology to manage such issues,there are call logs which can be printed, without being entered online and used to follow up with practioner and patients, then shredded per HIPAA guidelines.

Staff is great and resources are too.
