We purchased (5) 2016 JCB 407 wheel loaders that were advertised as good condition/well maintained (every 250 hours is exactly what was advertised). We purchased them according to this description and advertisement. Upon delivery it was discovered that the advertising was false as they had obvious/known issues amounting to over $10K in damages. (3) of the units had mismatched tire sizes, (1) had a grinding noise and shaking when driven, (1) had issues going into reverse (would not) and (1) had a major hydraulic leak coming from the front coupler. We notified them on the same day as we took delivery. We took the units to the authorized JCB dealer in the Denver Metro, Procon JCB. Upon initial inspection, they advised that Mid-South Equipment Co. (JCB of Chattanooga) should have know not to have mismatched tire sizes on the units as it tears up the axles. The fluids were dirty, so Mid-South Equipment Co. (JCB of Chattanooga) also deceived us regarding the routine maintenance. When we brought the damages to the attention of the President, he was not only dismissive and defensive but disrespectful and unprofessional (nice making the sale, rude when issues were discovered). He offered to pay $1,900 and stated SEND ME A INVOICE OF 1,900.00 AND WE ARE DONE.

Helpful and friendly

Purchased a used JCB skid steer from Mid South last year, in July I had an issue with it, would not start. Checked the obvious stuff then called Aaron Bixby, service manager at Mid South, he walked me through the most likely problems as I could not get my hands on a service manual. Aaron helped me eliminate all the suspect parts and narrowed it down to a $10 relay. It was a Friday 30mins before closing, Aaron worked with Frank and they arranged it so I could get the part even after closing!That is what customer Support is suppose to look like!I suspect this is the result of great leadership by the owner leading his team to always put customers first, but in any case Aaron is a shinning example of what good customer service should look like, thanks Aaron
