I came here a few months ago. Was lied to about what times I would be working for one company. Was told there was another company hiring and they would have that recruiter call me back. They never called back. To get someone to answer the phone, you have to repeatedly call back to back before someone answers sounding annoyed. My phone has been spammed at least 6 times a day with automated calls saying they have work. I blocked their number but Im still spammed with the voicemails. They also started calling from other numbers with the automated messages. Ive so far spoke to two people to remove my info. Its ridiculous at this point. Do not even waste your time.

I was having hard a hard time finding a job using my own resources. Joel Walker contacted me and within just a couple business days I had an interview and have now landed a great job! Thanks so much Express and Mr. Walker especially!

The employees are extremely helpful and polite

I called them 3 times in one week trying to get ahold of them for a job. Lisa put me on hold for 11 mins. Then kept picking up and pretending like she didn’t know who I was and why I was on hold. She sent me to her voicemail after I held for the 11 mins. She told me she would give Joel my number for him to call me back. I waited 2 days. Still no call. I emailed him and he had time to email me back but not call me. He told me their job listings were not updated.... and the job I was inquiring had been taken. That there was another job that he rudely made it seem like I wasn’t qualified for. I’ll never go through this company again!

I have a great experience with Express Employment. They’re very hands on. Mr Joel Walker is awesome finding me a job potentially for a long term career. The owner is also very nice. They have a great team there ready to help people seeking employment. I highly recommend them.

If I didnt know whether or not I was qualified, I would call Joel Walker and he let me know if the position was really right for me. This express company is incredibly unprofessional, how are you going to tell an employee that they can leave orientation because no one expressed how long it would take and they had a very important appointment that same day, tell them they can come back the next day and still have the job then when they come back, they LIE AND SAY THEY NEVER SAID THAT. Rebecca and Felix are incredibly unprofessional and should be fired for having zero integrity. Will never recommend this place and will never come back!!!

They will blow up your phone with calls and when you call them back they won’t answer. Also if you wanna car pool they won’t let you do that anymore. So better go to a different place! They are rude every time.

Express employment is a great service and establishment . When I was out of a job and trying to find something in my field they worked hard and matched me with a great job. So...I have a history prior to 2020 with Express. My experiences are ALL positive if you are reading this expecting negativity. Joel in Chattanooga got me a place that I spent 3 yrs as a temp and 5 yrs as a permanent employee at. Now, in 2020,i needed another job and werent back to Express. Im a 32 yo Millennial who has accepted this world is going the temporary employee way of things. Though I hate it, I accept it. Thankfully with people like Joel and Deborah in Chattanooga, thr prices is painless and beneficial! I got a new job just today with Deborahs help. Shes been so kind, considerate, and helpful during this, obviously, difficult time. Unemployment is no joke and Deborah knew this about me. I have a position that I feel I will excel at, thanks to her.

I Completed An Interview And Drug Screen For These Guys about 2 Weeks Ago, And I Havent Heard Anything At All From my Recruiter.I Truly Would Suggest NOT To Use This Company.I Swear, I Call These People Every Day Of The Week And Leave Voicemails Every Time. But For Some Reason Im Still Being Ignored.Every Time I Go To Their Office, Im Weirdly Never Allowed To Speak With My Recruiter About Whats Going On In My Situation. It Never Fails, They Always Ask Me My Name, Write Down My Number, And Never Call.I Really THOUGHT These Guys Were Chattanoogas Number 1 Staffing Agency. But Unfortunately Its Completely False. And Just Something To Say To Make You More Invested In Them.This People Are Not Responsive, And It Seems As If Most Recruiters Are Careless.I Look Forward To See What They Comment Back About This Review And What Their Subterfuge Would Be.

I recently worked with Deborah and Express. They brought several opportunities to me and worked with my schedule while placing me within a few weeks. If you are in the market for a job or career change, Express is a great place to go! The team has multiple business contacts in the area as well as opportunities that may not be readily visible to a job seeker.

Express helped me so much. I applied in May 2017 with the Dalton Express and they sent me over to the Chattanooga Express for a receptionist position. They have treated me so well and are so quick to help as well as find me a job. I love working with Express and would recommend anyone to come and apply!

I have worked with Express for the last 17 months. I have only been without an assignment for 2 weeks. Joel is very good about answering all questions in a prompt manner. I have worked at some of the biggest companies in town, and have always had a great experience.

Very Unprofessional for taking longer breaks than allowed. Shouldn’t have to continue calling before your break starts and definitely shouldn’t be sent to voicemail after your hour break is over. They are very rude and clearly don’t understand english. I’m very annoyed with this staffing company. Would never recommend!!!! Complete TRASH!

I was really impressed on how fast I was put to work - just a few days and I was already getting job offers. I have told several of my friends to go to Express. They have a lot of good jobs, if you follow directions and learn how they do things you should get a job fairly quickly.My office job is great and I know I will be here for the long haul.

I know three people already that has gotten jobs at the Chattanooga Express and all 3 have said nothing but good things about them. I once inquired about work and right away was given some options to choose from and were decent job offers. I ended up finding work elsewhere through a friend but they would be one of the first places I would go if I needed another job again. The phones are busy but I can always get through and yeah once in awhile I am put on hold but if I am patient and wait they come back to me. All in all I think they do a great job helping people find work.

If you call out every single day or have no work experience or have a background as long as the encyclopedia... then OBVIOUSLY...you will not get hired. Common sense! THEY ARE AMAZING!!!

Express is so cool! They help find people long term positions and the best pay they can get you. Its a blessing how many people they help out by putting them on jobs. They are always willing to help with anything.

I think is funny how most of these negative reviews on here are done by people who only seem to only give negative reviews. People are pretty quick to nag but not quick to brag. Well I have worked with Express and have gotten lots of job offers not all were what I wished for but if I wait soon enough something that worked for me came up. Decent jobs decent pay

Express placed me with a company in 2014 that i loved and worked for 5 years at and recently placed me at my current job which i love and was just hired on at.

Wish I could rate this lower than 1 star to be honest. The guy that scheduled my interview was very rude and did not let me finish talking what so ever and I just wanted to say thank you for not letting me work for yall and saved me from the hell. The only nice one that seems is the rep Hannah.

I needed some temp work on and off the last 2 years and Express gave me work. I was able to get 2 job assignments, plus it was using my painting skills and didnt have any issues. I would work for them again. Plus they have people there that speak Spanish. I like that.

I have never had to apply through a temp agency before but if I could recommend one, it would be this company. I began working in HR through Express in April. My bachelors is not in this field but I applied anyways and Joel Walker aided me in this journey. I got the job, rolled over to the company in August, and was recently promoted to a Senior position not even 90 days later. I am truly thankful for people like Joel who believed in me and made it a priority to check on me throughout this process. Thanks Express!!

Nobody ever calls back and if you do get some one they say the jobs they just called you about is full. Like how you just called saying you had them like 2 seconds ago. These people are so full of bs .They got all these now hiring signs up but refuse to hire a good worker they only want to work people who makes revolving doors as the label for their business and not a good dependable worker they recommend me to go to another staffing agency after me calling and coming up there for 2 weeks applying for all types of jobs..If you want to barely work call in or waste they time Express Employment would definitely be the place to go visit they will most definitely put you to work ....

Ive had the best experience with these guys! If youre ready and willing to work, they will hook you up. They always have a ton of assignments and there seems to be a wide variety of choices. Their office seems to have been recently renovated and is very sleek and modern. The people that work there are super nice and treat you like family, especially Maury!

Put in a application roughly two weeks ago now they are saying they cant find my application so unorganized staff. I put my application in at the sametime as someone else they found theirs but not mine all that I was told was it was really weird to her that no one knew anything of where it could be at. Dont waste your time. My experience is the same as all of the other one star reviews. This company lies much more then other staffing agencies when it comes to positions they claim to have. It would appear that they only post online job offers when they are no longer available. What is the point in creating a job posting if the position is no longer open? Answer, to draw in as many potential clients as possible. They will also ignore your phone calls, but Im sure its only because theyre so busy lying.

Unprofessional, you will be waiting 4+ days for a recruiter to call you. When you go up there they tell you someone will call you within 48hrs which is a lie.

Express is the best!! The staff is friendly and always willing to help, they will work harder than anyone to help you find a job. They work with more clients than any other office in the area. If your looking for a job dont go anywhere else!

When I was looking for a long-term temp job with Express back in June of 2010, they treated me professionally and found me a good job before the end of the month with good people. I stayed with that assignment for the six-month duration - until the end of December. Its not surprising that several of the people posting here did not have a good experience with Express as it appears that, in addition to an attitude problem, those people can neither spell nor put a sentence together correctly.

I thought they were pretty good cuz they called me about a job after a few days. Then now I’m a a different place at express and it’s cool and they really nice and happy like you just walk in and girl be smiling at you at the front and then there good about helping people.

The office of Chattanooga, TN is pathetic. No return phone calls, ever. No integrity/professionalism. All talk, little to no action. Huge waste of time. GO TO AEROTECK!! I specifically requested long term employment and was given a temporary position without full disclosure of the position/company. Ill be unemployed by the end of the month; All credit goes to Express.

Staff is very rude. Put in an application for review, called several times to let them know I was interested in finding a job but all they would say is we will review it and give you a call then they hang up. Its been 3 weeks now and I havent heard a word

Me and my wife would in there today and was treated very bad, we was deprived of our right to be treated as a human being, I recently visited a program Im in and was respected enough to be asked if I had to use the rest room and if so could I give a screening, I was told if I could not to feel free to go eat an when ready come back within two hours,at express I was told to empty all my pockets on there table told to not flush or use there water to wash my hands after I give them a screening, I did not have to use the restroom, and it was about four min into the wait when I ask if me an my wife could get a early lunch an I was rudly told Im not aloud to leave, I looked at the staff members and thought your joking right?? Then she stated not until u take the screening, well I though that was very weird seeing how we have not gotten employment yet, and I receive a weekly check up with the federal government like I stated earlier, Bottom line the people there was very rude, unprofessional, and a poor lack of people skill, And flat out discriminated with prejudice y against two people trying there hardest to find employment, an be a positive member of society,.... I got out of there as fast as possible, just think of the problems you might have tryna to get your paycheck??? I felt like I was in court, or the federal building

Pour people, pour service. Never replies back to emails or calls. Maury Menham is not a woman of her word. Said she would help me with assignments and never returns my calls nor my emails. I once called her everyday to be persistent and let her know I was very interested in another assignment and she told me to stop calling her repeatedly.

TERRIBLE. I do not recommend this temp company to anyone. They do not match jobs well at all. You may get several job alerts (inbound recordings on your cell) each week but NEVER a response after you reply with great interest. It is all hype with no feedback. Express focus is ALL about filling any/all assignments to their clients; sadly NOT about the applicants. I was shorted on pay and will not be dealing with this company again. Please heed my warning and do not waste your time!

Wonder place they helped me land a great job

I was recently put out of work for medical reason and my daughter applied through express . They callrd her to come in for the interview and drug screening and said it would be about 30 miniyes long. Its been over a hour and i had to drive her and Im the babysityer for her 3 yr old twins. So we had to bring the twins with us. My air went out on my car and after sitting for 40 minutes with temperatures being almost 90 degrees I took them inside to cool off. I explained to the lady at the front office at Shallpwford road Chattanooga TN that their mom was being interviewed and we just needed to cool off and 2 minutes later she came over and said the manager said we couldnt be inside. I know your not suppose to take children with you to an interview but sometimes being a single mom you have to do what you have to do. Anyway knowing how hot it is they said we couldnt stay inside and made us go back out to the heat. So i waited 20 minutes walked back inside asked them to get tje twins mother that they needed to go in the back with. the lady said no children allowed and i said its not posted anywhere in the building or online so she needed to get their mother. I texted my daughter and tild her to walk out of yhe interview she doesnt need to work for any company that doesnt care about a child. I wouldny work EXPRESS

The Month that I have been with Express .. I have made some trips on interviews and then they would call me and tell me I have a job and so I waste Gas going their to pick up papers and by time I get home their calling me telling me I dont have the job.. A MONTH and still no JOB about to be homeless !!Please keep me in your prayers..

Absolutely useless. Had interview with recruiter who said they should be able to place me quickly (I have job skills) and a few days later got an automated call describing a job I was interested in. I immediately called the number given and got voice mail which I left a message on saying I was interested. Didnt hear another word. Weeks went by I stopped by to try to talk to the recruiter and wasnt allowed to see or talk to her by front desk girls. Called and same dont call us we will call you. A couple of more weeks went buy and got another auto call. Called back within 20 seconds and had the same result as 1st time. Fortunately I found a good job on my own and they wont be skimming off any of my salary. Dont waist your time with these guys. NO customer service at all.

I have had an app in for over3 weeks in the chatt office and I even did one for Cleveland, Cleveland has called me twice I only did this to see how fast they would respond Cleveland called me the same day but yet have had any response from Chattanooga and I know for a fact they have jobs my husband works for a company theyre supposed to be hiring for says they havent sent help in weeks I guess because they dont respond to calls or emails or applications very disappointed
