Leak repair and new chimney cap were installed- I thought- in a timely manner. However 9 months later my chimney leaked worse than ever. I friend got a ladder and climbed on the roof to see if the chimney cap was loose. What he found was a disastrous mess. I called the company and was told someone would get back to me days ago. Now no one answers the phone.

Great quick service. We were very satisfied by the cleaning that was done. A very thorough inspection.Will update when we have the work done. Professional company, very confident that they can get it done in a timely fashion. Quality work so far.

Noticed a very strong smell, called them, they were able to fit me in-within a couple of days. They removed the animal, that was stuck in my fireplace. They also did a full inspection & helped with a downdraft issue, all in the same day. Will definitely use again!

So far very satisfied. I have not had work done yet, just estimate. Price is satisfactory and explanation of work to be done was direct, knowledgeable,and showed confidence that repairs could be made reasonably, quickly, and with warrantied service.

Responded to a Craigslist ad for work, agreed on a date and time. Drove an hour only to be ghosted. Extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate of other peoples time.

I called them to inspect 2 chimneys on a house I am flipping on signal mountain. They gave me a list of $2700 worth of work they recommend but never told me whether the chimney was safe or not. $230 wasted. Some of the work included sealing the fire place, and tuck pointing the exterior of the chimney. I got a real strong cheesy scam feeling from these guys.

They were professional & cleaned my wood stove with ease, and was mindful of my light colored carpets. My wood burning fireplace requires a few simple repairs. They are scheduled to return the 2nd week of March.

Did not have a good experience. Would not recommend. I wound up calling Soot Busters after paying Chattanooga Chimney $100 (normally they are $150) for an inspection that took all of 10 minutes. I will use Soot Busters in the future. I will not use Chattanooga Chimney again.Edit: after posting this review I received this text.

First appt they didn’t show up for, rescheduled then they called me two hours after appt time to say they weren’t going to make it. Said they would contact me for reschedule. Never did. Called them, finally showed up, again very late, vacuumed soot from my chimney and sprayed it across three rooms. Half way cleaned it up, gave me a bill for 175$, never called back, wouldn’t return calls. The previous home owner had an service in June from the Same company making repairs to the fire place and installing a rain cap. At my inspection they called out all of the same items needing repairs for 2k$. Asked about the previous repairs no call back. Unbelievably poor service. FIND ANYONE ELSE TO DO YOUR WORK.

Great company. Used them for a cleaning, inspection; and a flue repair. Will contact them again for an inspection & cleaning next year. They advised yearly inspections & cleanings.

They postponed their original appointment on early Monday afternoon by giving just over an hours notice. That is better than some stories Ive read. The appointment has been rescheduled to tomorrow morning. Ill see how it goes and update the review tomorrow.- 11/26/2019- update - The crew texted when they were en-route and showed up pretty much on time. After then inspection, Jason recommended a set of work items to 1.) save the masonry, 2.) get the fireplace functional, and 3.) preserve it for about the next decade. We split the work up to 2 days about a week apart. 1/2 of the work was completed immediately following the inspection. 1/2 payment was also made at that time. I will update this review, add some pictures, and the overall score after the next visit.- 11/27/2019- update 2 - The crew communicated and arrived on time and on task. They were able to complete the damper, interior lining and firebox repairs in a timely manner. They also took good care on the inside of our home and left the work area as clean as it was to begin with. Some of the products they used on the 2 visits carry warranties, however they did not have the materials with them (Jason was not with on this visit). Ginny sent me the warranty information electronically shortly after they had left.All in all, I was very happy with the communication, work and follow-up.- 12/11/2019

Company absolutely ripped us off... paid a lot of money and there was a major issue.. Called back to find out what was wrong and wanted to charge us more, for the simplest job ever and it’s not even the main issue. Company called back to come complete work and never showed up. They stood my up twice and have yet to respond.. been months now.

EDIT**The husband and owner are the same person and has since offered an apology for his unprofessional behavior**I was satisfied with the services they provided for me at first, despite being very late, and was going to use them for future chimney needs. However after receiving some unprofessional messages from an employee’s spouse (through the employee’s phone) AND the owner Jason, I am very disappointed in the unprofessional conduct that occurred from what I had believed was a professional business. I wouldn’t recommend this company unless you are comfortable with men speaking to you or your wife this way. Also the man referenced my real name and the location of my home that he has the address of.

Three technicians were there on the day of my appointment, all of whom were friendly, professional, and truly liked talking about my chimney. They were able to tell me all that was wrong my fireplace and quoted me to fix it. Very knowledgeable; I scheduled the waterproofing portion for next week and the usability portion for next month.

Called to ask them to move their work truck because blocking our mailbox. Was yelled out by both the owner and employee. Very unprofessional and disrespectful.

They came out to do a cleaning & because we had a bad smell in the fireplace. They were able to stop the bad smell by removing the dead squirrel that was stuck in the smoke shelf. Great work, relieved that they were able to stop the smell, courteous service. Thanks Chattanooga Chimney.

I am editing my previous review of 1 star, that I gave due to a missed appointment and failure to return my calls and texts for a reschedule.Jason and his team went out of their way to make the oversights up to us, and I feel did a truly fantastic job in the process. They came by today- must have worked us into their very busy schedule- and quickly and efficiently assessed our fireplace and chimney issues, provided explanations and photos to back up their recommendations, and seemed to do a very thorough job of addressing our problems. I am glad we were able to work it out. And I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Jason, the owner showed up promptly, on time, did a total facelift and repair on my 45 year old fireplace and chimney and it works great. A little attention to cleanup detail would have earned 5 stars, but other wise, satisfied.

My roof guy noticed I had a cracked crown. I had Chattanooga Chimney & Fireplace come out to do an inspection. The chimney guy was able to resurface my crown with a great crown coat product (which gave my crown a 15 year warranty!). He was able to do the crown repair at the same appointment as the initial inspection. I will definitely use Chattanooga Chimney to clean and service my chimney in the future.

They fixed what two other roofers didn’t. Quick service and good customer service! Add me to the yearly inspection!

We got there info from a dear friend and neighbor of ours, when we were talking about the leak we had in our chimney. They said they used CC&F Co. to repair their chimney & stop a leak. We called and everything we were told about Chattanooga Chimney were spot on. They showed up on time, quickly diagnosed our issue, and later the next week, came back and completed a professional chimney repair. Their prices were fair and I plan to give their number to our homeowners association at our next meeting. 10/10!

On November 14, 2019, I contacted the number listed and received a message from Jason asking for my name and address, which I provided. He stated he would send me some appointment options. Here it is November 26th, and I have yet to hear anything from him.This seems to be a recurring issue with this company, after reading the reviews. It say a lot about a company when their customer service is lacking.I will be looking elsewhere.

This company was professional, punctual & kept me informed as to when I should expect them, by texting 15 minutes before their arrival. I did a cleaning and inspection with them and scheduled the suggested repairs for next week.

I waited at my home for Jason to show up for our scheduled appt (which was made by text). I had a very busy day so I called to see if they were coming. Jason never responded to my texts nor calls. Very bad business behavior.In response to owner’s comment: Jason I called you fifteen minutes after our expected time and left a msg stating my father has passed away a few days before and I had things to do regarding funeral etc. and said to please let me know if you were coming. No response.

Another company quoted me a $6000 liner replacement. Chattanooga Chimney was able to fix the flue tiles for $1300 and gave me a warranty. Honest company with professional service guys,

Unprofessional is an understatement. Paid for a chimney repair and seal, chimney is still leaking. Called and scheduled 3 appts regarding the leak, CC&F did not show up to either appt, didnt call to say they were not coming, and wont return any calls. Nothing but excuses and the runaround with this company for months. Shady business practices. Would NOT recommend.

I scheduled an inspection with this company. They did not arrive or call to let me know they were running late. When I called them 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment, they said they were not sure if they could make it and asked to reschedule. Needless to say, we did not want to reschedule. Not reliable or professional.

Professional on time technician, showed up and cleaned birds nest out for us. We will definitely call again next year.

Talked to some guy and he said that his scheduler would call me back in an hour...needless to say that never happened and I never heard from anyone again. I tried calling and leaving messages and no response. Super unprofessional!!!

Initially I was VERY pleased with the work done by Chattanooga Chimney. We had them re-mortar and waterproof a chimney that had been leaking and ended up paying almost $5,000 for the repairs. They said they guarantee their work and did end up coming back once to try to fix the chimney again when it continued to leak. The chimney is STILL leaking and I cannot get anyone from this company to answer or return my phone calls or texts. I have been completely ghosted and will now have to find and pay a different company to do the job we have already paid this company to do for us. I cannot recommend them to anyone after the experience I’ve had in the past several months trying to get them to come out and guarantee the repair that is still not complete.
