This was the first year I have used Mr Heinemann for my tax preparation. I will let you know my experience and you can decide for yourself. Mr Heinemann had our taxes for over a month with no update. I inquired on status and was told that the deadline for filing had been extended to May 17th but was given no status as to completion of our taxes. I waited about 2 weeks and emailed to check in. No response. My husband then called and was told they were on his desk and he would get to it that Friday. 2 weeks later with no response we called again with the exact same answer. The tax deadline was the next week. The Friday before the tax deadline we received a call at 5 PM. They left nor VM. I showed up the following Monday to pick them up assuming that on the deadline for filing they would be ready. They were but I was instructed to make sure to make an appointment next year as not to make others wait. I’m perplexed as to when I was supposed to make an appointment when I was given zero update on the status. There will be no next year period.

Mr. Heinemann is a thorough and scrupulous accountant who has been a big help to my business. I love the fact that he is responsive and quickly returns my calls. When I first hired him he went back and reviewed previous filings and was able to find significant savings. I am very impressed with the office and would highly recommend Henemann & Associates to anyone.

Received incorrect tax advice from this provider. Thankfully, I did my own research and returns and got my refund. The CPA did not call me, but sent a website printout with non-applicable information circled. Poor experience.
