New to Chattanooga, did not think I’d ever find an auto shop as good as the one I went to in Florida. As I drove by this place often, it appeared that they always kept their shop nice and clean, so I gave them a shot. Been there a couple of times now. They were efficient, honest, and reasonably priced. I don’t think you can go wrong with these guys.

Weve been customers at Foresters for the last 6 months after living in Chattanooga for the last 2 years of which time we have been searching for knowledgeable and honest auto mechanics. Weve used several and have been dissatisfied with them all until finding Foresters. They have gone above and beyond for us and have been the first guys to locate and fix the issue with one of our cars. They are so informed and could always clearly answer any questions we had, very affordable, kind and professional, and always made repairs in a timely manner. My daughter is a student at UTC and works next door to this shop .She came to work this morning with a bad antifreeze leak .Her boss recommended them . Bad radiator. She was coming home to Knoxville for the weekend after work . Long story short ... very nice ..very quick ..very fair .. gentleman i talked to on the phone was straight forward with me but what really got me was he gave her his card and assured her if she had any future problems to call anytime and he would assist in any possible way. This meant alot to me and my wife .A++++ Thank you!

Best car repair experience ever. Very honest and trustworthy guys. Had the chance to charge me over 300 dollars extra for calipers and decided they werent the problem. I feel like almost all other shops would have taken the chance to upcharge the repair. Literally half the price of budget brakes a mile down the road. Highly recommended.

Within a three year period I had work done on two vehicles. I took them to several National service centers, four local privately owned businesses and some specialty shops. In all instances the work was either done poorly and had to be done again (back into the shop for days) or thousands of dollars were spent for work that was NOT done. (silicone sealant instead of gaskets replaced as quoted etc. etc.) The excuses/apologies were a testament to the disrespect of the customer and poor regard for work ethic.In contract and in every instance Foresters proved to be an honest, ethical and extremely knowledgeable team. Over a two year period they have done brakes, rotors, repaired and replaced a transmission, a rear end and axels. Universal joints, Ball Joints Timing belts and chains, head and exhaust gaskets, radiators and hoses, solved various electrical issues, and I could go on. What is important is that they diagnose the problem correctly and actually FIX the problem. I cannot emphasize this strongly enough.I am writing this because the folks at Forresters have become friends. They took ownership of my automobiles and always took care of me.I have been around Nascar and mechanics since their beginnings before moving to Tennessee a decade ago. Those mechanics have nothing on Doug at Foresters. Take your car in to Foresters and you will be amazed at the knowledge and ability that comes out of the service bay at this little business on Hixson Pike.

Saw the good reviews before going to this place, and I thought I would have no problems. Now Im convinced that these reviews are from extended family members and friends. Pros: the owner was very nice. Cons: the owner was a bona fide con artist.I shouldve walked out when the customer at the register became upset because he was trying to charge her for part that she did not need.The owner put synthetic blend oil in my car after I told him I wanted conventional oil. After the oil change he said he never uses conventional oil. That wouldve been nice to know when I requested conventional oil before the oil change. But he had agreed to put conventional oil in the car. And then he tried to sell me cheap tires for $100.00 each. The same tires were at Wal-Mart for around $60.00.In addition, he changed the price for a part I needed three times. I decided not to let him work on my car after the oil change. I understand that a business owner is in business to make a profit, but its wrong to swindle your customers.

These are a few honest, hard working guys that really take care of your car. Ill definitely be coming back!

Brought my car here on a recommendation & I would never come back. Had to return twice in less than a month & was charged over $1,000 to be told that my car was totaled. I only dealt directly with the owner but he was rude, unreliable, and incompetent. Definitely feel cheated.
