I was looking for a kayak lesson since my family never gotten on a kayak before and found Carver county kayak and I picked the perfect teacher to teach us how to paddle and not only that, they will let you know the different kayaks they have which is pretty Awesome cuz they have different kayaks you could try on and feel if its the right one for you before investing in one. They have different paddles as well to try from entry level(not Walmart entry level but higher) to a really expensive one. Now We feel more confident to go on kayak adventures thanks to Steve and Kim. Highly recommend. Already planning on our next trip with them.

Carver County Kayak is THE BEST! My group of four took the “three hour tour” from Jordan to Carver last weekend. Kim and Steve were delightful, and answered ALL our questions leading up to our outing, and on the day of our float. As a first-time kayaker, Steve gave a great overview for me of what to do, what not to do, where to stop if we wanted to take a break and many other helpful tips. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but both Kim and Steve made sure I, and the members of my group, was confident and ready for our adventure on the river before we launched.In addition to a kayak, paddles and life preserver, we were outfitted with everything else we needed for our trip, including dry bags for our phones and TP. Carver County Kayak has thought of it all!In addition to a really great experience from a customer service perspective from Carver County Kayak, we had an amazing trip down the Minnesota River. We saw all kinds of wildlife, including a few bald eagles, on our trip down this often overlooked natural resource.If you’re on the fence about booking a float with Carver County Kayak, DO IT! They book up quickly on summer weekends. They offer routes of varying legnths, so there’s something for everyone. I highly recommend Carver County Kayak!

Great customer service! Great price! Took a 3 hour trip with our kids down the river. Our children loved the adventure! Many sandy spots along the river to stop and stretch.

An absolute WONDERFUL experience! The best guides (if you want a guide), beautiful scenery, smooth ride, perfect for adults and kids. We stopped at a sand bar and had lunch. It was such a great time! I couldn’t recommend them enough! I wish I could give them more than 5 🌟s!
