Went out of their way to help us find a solution when our wheelchair stopped working. Really friendly and helpful staff and they always pick up when I call. I dont write reviews ever but they saved us so I want to acknowledge them!
Absolutely love this place, always very helpful and supportive. They make sure I have everything I need. Thanks for a great service!
My niece Angela Hope Williamson is totally dependent on her motorized wheelchair and is 100% disabled. Her mother Edith drove 2hours to Charlottesville with Angela and wheelchair to have the chair problem evaluated on 14 September. The defective part discovered and supposedly ordered. After repeated calls was told various stories ranging from still waiting for part to come in, order was cancelled and then told again ordered. On 19 October, her mother called and was initially told there was no order for the part in the system. After persistent questioning, she was told there was a mix up and yes the part was here and had been there since 13 October. Wonder how long Angela would have had to wait to be notified. Now, they have a problem getting a timely appointment before 3:30 pm driving 2 hours each way from Farmville. Apparently every time Edith calls about a wheelchair maintenance and repairs, she has problems contacting them or getting appointments. Will be contacting the corporate Headquarters as well as Medicare about the shoddy and sloppy way this place handles business with people with disabilities and their families.
Bought a wheelchair from them. Need repair. For 2 days no one has answered the phone. The phone is forwarded to the Fishersville office of NSM. I cant get a return call from their answering machine either. Kas everyone gone on vacation? A wheelchair repair can be an urgent situation. NSM does not have a set-up to handle anything urgent. In the future I will explore buying from another vendor.
The staff was not helpful, scheduling was off and on the day to pick up the wheelchair the guy delivering it did not show up.
