Tom Daly is a master of his craft. We were lucky enough to have him take our family photos (he shot our wedding 10 years ago as well). The photos are stunning in every way. Of the bunch he sent us I honestly have 50 favorites. He captured our family so beautifully and most importantly kept my kids smiling for over an hour! I highly recommend Tom for any occasion to capture memories that you will enjoy forever.

By far the best event photographer I have ever worked with. Tom understands where to be, when, and what moments are most important for my companys events. And, he is a great photo editor (because we all know that editing is just as important as the photo composition!). He is easy to work with and flexible. 10/10 recommend him to photograph any event!

We were so fortunate to work with Tom on our big day. He has a background in photojournalism and that is what initially drew us to him. We didnt want a lot of overexposed, stiff/posed photos. We wanted mostly candid photos that captured the day truthfully and beautifully--and he did that flawlessly. Tom was so easy, comfortable to be around and had our trust from the beginning. Wow, Tom Daly is absolutely incredible! He met all of our needs and listened to exactly what we needed from our photo shoot. He has a natural artistic sense that made each of the images he sent truly feel like “us.” Tom is super responsive and was able to meet the turnaround time he quoted us! We’ll no doubt be using him anytime we have need of a photographer, he made us feel so comfortable and without question will accommodate people from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds.

Tom has taken photos and video for our organization several times and we couldnt recommend him more! His photographs are beautiful and really capture the spirit of the events and our coalition, AND he worked with us to find rates that would fit our non-profit budget. We had a pre-wedding photoshoot with Tom and the pictures were amaaazing!!! So many laughs in those pictures were natural- thanks to Tom and the way he does these photoshoot sessions. Im generally very self critical when it comes to my pictures, but for the first time I like myself in so many of them, haha. Both my fiance and I LOVED the pictures!

Tom Daly is fantastic. He was truly the perfect fit for our wedding. It was extremely important to me to choose the right photographer for our wedding and I am so happy that I gave Tom a call. I immediately connected with him and knew he was the one. ;) When Tom showed up early to scope out our wedding site & even helped with a few last minute non-photography details, I was again reassured that he was going to do a great job for us. From the moment he arrived through the end of the night, he was always where he needed to be to perfectly capture the moment. I cannot stop looking at my wedding pictures and cant thank Tom enough for capturing the beautiful, candid shots that he did. I highly recommend Tom and think you should give him a call. You wont be disappointed.

Tom Daly is fantastic!!We heard a praising recommendation through a friend and quickly asked Tom to shoot our wedding. His photos are absolutely beautiful and we are so happy!! He has a great way of telling a story through his photos, documentarian style with great lighting and interesting compositions. It seems like every photo has at least two things going on, the bride smiling at her mother, while the flower girl twirling on the floor. They are just so interesting and crisp!Tom was also a pleasure to work with. He was quick at emailing us back, he met with us for coffee on our whirlwind tour of Charlottesville to check out wedding vendors, and he got the photos back in about 10 days!! We were so impressed and pleased to have such a cool guy around at the wedding, I wish we could hang out with him more! He was very unobtrusive and made us feel at ease in his presence. I was a bit concerned about the price, but hes totally worth it (for the photos, the service, and the ease)! There are other choices that may be a bit less expensive, but far inferior in quality. Thumbs up!!!

Simply put, hire Tom. As the groom, I never thought I would have a strong opinion about the quality of wedding photos. However, here I am writing my only review post wedding. There are many reasons that support my recommendation, but here are a few that stand-out. First, Tom loves what he does and takes pride in his work. Second, He is able to maintain a creative freedom in his approach to the process (you should encourage this) while never compromising the fact he is under contract and being paid for a specific service. Lastly, if you afford Tom the creative room for him to operate, he will provide you with truly authentic photos that capture the moments you want to treasure in the future. Thusly, hire Tom, tell him the special moments you want captured, and then trust him to handle the rest.

So my husband and I got married in May 2011, and 2 moves and 2 boys later I safely misplaced the disc we had. Instinctively I thought, Oh crap, Ill never live this one down. I emailed Tom and he saved me and within an hour. Thanks Tom for saving me and making the photos capture one of the greatest days of my life. My advice? If Tom Daly is available to shoot your wedding, BOOK HIM. NOW! ...Before the whole world realizes how incredibly good he is at what he does and hes booked til the end of time.Tom shot both print and video of my wedding day and, having just received the results, Im about ready to break the internet with my praise for the man. From day one he was so accommodating, friendly and fun. He worked with us to get the kinds of memories we really wanted of the day and my god he did it perfectly. Ive never seen better pictures of myself (and Ive been photographed by some of the best), my (now) husband, who seemingly navigates life with his eyes closed, and our families (who hate being photographed).I count my lucky stars that I found this guy when I did, because at the end of the day (the wedding one), the husband and the photographs (and a dress covered in tomato ketchup and wine) are all you have to show for it. And I get to show mine off with such pride.
