To minimize what went to a landfill, this service prompted me to give away many usable household items to charity and left me with a great feeling of accomplishment and organization. Be careful--their website pricing can be very misleading depending on where youre located!! Im very disappointed because I wanted to go with this company after seeing all of the rave reviews, and the website prices seemed very reasonable! They appear to have a Charlottesville location but when we put in our zip code (we live 12 miles from Charlottesville center) it more than doubled the cost. I even called to check about our specific address since I know our zip code extends MUCH farther away from town than we are, but was told that they stick to flat pricing across the board for each zip code. I know they say Prices starting at __ on the website, but more than double the cost for being 12 miles away seems rather excessive and misleading to me. Just wanted others to be aware if you live slightly outside of town like we do. Seems great if you live within a very narrow radius though.

It was the perfect size for waste from a 4,000 sf drywall job and it fit perfectly on the job site. With limited space I was able to get it right next to the building. I was very displeased with thia establishment. On the day that the roll off was to arrive, we got an email saying we were out of the demographic areabit it clearly says Fluvanna on the Charlottesville website. It was very inconvenient and frustrating. Today I get a post card about how they hope are expectations were exceeded. Really?!

I’ve been wanting a dumpster for years in order to clean out my attic, shed, and the closets that have been full of junk I’ve hauled around for years. Most dumpster rentals are huge and incredibly expensive. These guys have perfect sizes for those wanting to just clean out some extra stuff in their home, the prices are amazing, the ordering of the dumpster was incredibly easy. They showed up, dropped it right where I wanted and hauled it away when I was done. It was so easy and they were so responsive and a pleasure to work with. We were in the process of replacing siding and many windows. We live on a small urban lot, with a fenced in yard. A regular dumpster was too big fo our project. I found Happy Little Dumpsters online. I sent an email and then quickly got a response. The dumpster was delivered about three days later. First, it was a very cute lime green, and in great condition. It was just the right size for our driveway. We still had room to work in, or park a car. Over the next few months HPL would text or call to see if we needed it dumped. Usually they would dump it within 1 to 2 business days. They would let me know when they were coming. All the billing was done online. It was so easy and paperless. I highly recommend this company. They were so prompt and professional.

This was my first experience renting a container and I feel blessed to have chosen the right company. The container was delivered the same morning I called in and placed in the exact location I had requested. I called back twice during the week to ask questions about specific items that I was discarding and to discuss additional weight charges that would increase my original fee. I was treated politely by Kyle and the answers I received were accurate as I happily discovered at the end of this experience. I received a card during the week I had the container thanking me for my service, an immediate e-mail confirmation response when I wrote on a Sat. night that I wanted the container picked up on Monday morning, and a follow up call on the day my container was picked up letting me know I did not go over the 2 tons that was stated on the invoice in the original price. This is the type service we all deserve, but is becoming the exception, rather than the rule. I was impressed. I guess it has been a while since I was treated this way in a transaction. Im pleased with the service I received and will definitely call Happy Little Dumpsters the next time I need a container.
