Difficult review because the product itself was very good, but the overall experience was not. The stylist and the haircut / service was good. The app / check in experience was not great. App said 15 minute wait - closer to an hour. Wish they would take appointments as that might address a major issue with the service (at the corporate level).

My barber was Betty and she took her time, styled my hair better than I do and ensured and amazing experience. Definitely recommend, the experience is worth every penny.

It was amazing, great haircut, and when the stylist washed my hair, the chair was a leather massage chair! And she wrapped a hot towel around my face while washing my hair and massaging my scalp. This place was amazing

Got the worst hair cut of my life. No shampoo, hot towel. The lady also complained I came late to the store despite coming 40 mins before the store closing. She finished my haircut in less than 5 mins and was very careless(Thinks she is gonna get the worlds fastest hair cut prize or something smh). She thinks she is funny to make jokes on customers. I can also talk about how I waited 5 mins after arriving and no one responded. I had to literally go inside the store and say Hi to someone to get someone out to get my my haircut. Just too bad staff! Never going there..just never!!

Sign on door and online both said open at 9am. Online also shows 3 minute wait time. Well here I am at 10:15 am and the store is dark and locked up... Guess Ill start taking my business elsewhere. Tired of this issue at numerous locations between Richmond and Charlottesville.

Need a hair cut then this is the place to go. They cut hair. If youre old enough they ask if you want your hair growing out of your ears trimmed. If they ask please say yes. They also want to trim unruly eyebrows. This is up to you. The triple play shoulde massage is hugely disappointing. They are like robots and act is if they are forced to do it.

I took my 8 year old son a while back. Just looking for a basic trim. Terrible. We were in and out in 8 minutes and it looked like a lawnmower cut his hair. Also the stylist wasnt very welcoming.

Huge thanks to stylist Zoe at Sport Clips that was able to fix a botched haircut that I got from the local Supercuts. She was able to take an uneven mess of a cut and turn it around, leaving me looking clean and professional. Would definitely recommend Sport Clips of C-Ville and Zoe. 👍

My husband and my son both get their hair cut here. It’s very clean and organized from what I can see. The women are all very nice and very easy to talk to. They do a great job and I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Arrived 5min before 8PM for a shave and they closed early apparently and I asked if I could get a quick beard trim since it wasnt 8PM yet and was denied. Poor Service. Never going there just on principle alone.

The staff was friendly and my haircut was well done. The thing that stands out the most and makes it more than 4 stars for me is the cleanliness. This place is quite possibly the cleanest barber shop Ive ever been to. I thought perhaps it was new or has recently been remodeled because it was so clean. Instead, its vacuums used after each cut and a staff that actually cares about keeping it tidy. I will definitely return to this place. Theres also plenty of parking. Google Maps shows the location in a group of buildings and may make it a little confusing to find. The shop is in the building closest to Rio and nearest 29. The doors face east.

I get a good haircut every time, with friendly staff. I can just drop in without an appointment which is how I prefer it. They offer a Senior discount and I like their MVP special.

After my first visit to Sports Clips I became a regular. I was very impressed with the staff and how friendly they are. I always request their signature MVP experience with includes a fresh hair cut, shampoo, and shoulder massage. Haircuts no longer have to be a errand, but are now and experience!

Walked in, said I had 40 or so minutes. I waited a half an hour and the screen still said 30 minutes. Watched two people walk in the door and go ahead of me bumping up the time. The few times I had been before it was always about a 45 minute wait in total. Its always been only two barbers in the shop and ten empty chairs. Left and went to Hair Cuttery on Barracks and was out of there with an outstanding hair cut before that 30 minutes was up.

Quick, inexpensive haircuts. They keep a record of how you like your hair cut, so next haircut will be just like the last haircut. Plentiful parking.

I have been going to Sports Clips around the country for years and the customer service at this location was the worst I’ve ever seen.

Ive been to 5+ different sport clips and this was the worst experience. They are always listed as 60 minutes out online and 3 times being in there they are empty at appointment time. Haircut was straight up bad still after a few times asking to correct the the mistakes. Provided a picture and the last cut to her and she was still clueless. Poorly run and poorly staffed, spend an extra 5 on someone who actually knows how to cut hair and run a business.

First time visit, great experience. They have interesting decor, and the massage chairs/hot towel while washing your hair are nice touches.

If I could could rate it negative I would. Worst haircut I’ve ever received. The stylist took 6 total minutes on my hair when I asked for a fade and she just shaved the whole head. Ridiculous. You couldn’t pay me to go back there.

Normally is ok. Don’t try to go within an hour of close because you will be turned away even if the lobby is empty due to there waitlist being full.

The lady cutting my hair gave me several gnarly scars on the back of my neck from the trimmer, one of them was actually pretty deep, but I cant lie I got a pretty good haircut out of it so Im chillin

Did u know u get hot towels on your face while you’re sitting in a vibrating chair while getting a head massage...and then u get percussion shoulder massage?! Cuz I didn’t! Ive had stella and jessica and they were great!

Today I went in for a haircut before my family Christmas photo and got the worst haircut Ive ever had. Ive been coming here for years with no problems but this one time when it was very important they failed me.

I actually went in to get a simple trim of mustache and beard and left with a horrible experience and lack of passion from stylist.

Treat seasoned hairdressers poorly. Someone with experience could have taught the young ones a lot! Manager is rude!

One of my friends told me about this place I was excited but what a big disappointment they forgot to trim my hairline and she don’t even offered me the MVP service I was as expecting a better job. I will tell my friends to avoid this place

They have a lot of amateurs that work there so its a 50/50 chance of getting a good cut for $17 thats not the best choice

Stylist in too much of a hurry (cut took 10 minutes) and did not come very close to the style we asked for.

Extremely disappointed in Lisas work. I even showed her a picture that hangs in the store! Way to short! I wouldnt go back if someone paid for it!
