The GM Nachele was extremely personable and helpful. She was either working or helping, but she was always assisting. She took every question serious and was just amazing. She said she was just filling in for that location but man, she’s doing great.
BELIEVE THE STARS!!!!!! This staff is highly uninformed and uneducated to perform their job properly.I used this location to do a one way move to Atlanta. I rented out a truck and a tow dolly for my vehicle.I was told to load my truck and come back for them to assist me putting my vehicle on the tow dolly once my truck was loaded.I did just that.When I returned to have my vehicle strapped to the tow dolly the two employees (I do not know their names) switched my dolly out FOUR times for multiple malfunctions with the dolly. When they finally found one that they thought functioned properly they “strapped my car down” this process took about 45mins.When I arrived to Atlanta the next day the representative at that location said my car was not even strapped at all and I am lucky my car did not come off. This was very unsettling because my elderly mother was following me the entire time and this mishap could have severely injured or killed her.When I drove my car off the dolly I noticed that my brake lights and traction light was on and my brakes were going all the way to the floor. My car did not have these issues prior.I am now having to file a claim with their insurance and they are giving me the run around and U-haul is not taking responsibility for their lazy miseducation employers. I have been without a car for a month because they have yet to reimburse me. Do yourself a favor go the extra mile to a u-haul location with more stars that takes pride in their work.
I have no idea why this place is rated above a 3. This was my first experience renting a U-Haul and the experience was terrible. The manager was very rude when they were the ones that caused issues with my reservation (not being able to open the lock of a reserved U-Haul, forcing me to rent a smaller one). Kept getting interrupted during the check-in process. From reading the other responses, it seems like this is a frequent issue. Customer Service was severely lacking. DO NOT GO HERE.
If you need Propane dont waste your time coming here... You will be waiting for days... corporate you need to hire /train personnel.. You also need to pay adequate wages... until then you always get bad reviews

Lester was very helpful! I went to purchase a few boxes and packing materials (which I’ve done at several locations) and he ensured my time spent at this location was fast, painless and accurate! He even loaded my car up for me so I didn’t have to lift the bundle of boxes I purchased. They have a wide selection and is easily accessible right off of I85.
100% worst customer service. You would think if someone was coming into your establishment you would have a more concern and thankfulness for business. I walked in and being greeted by my name and with a laugh is ridiculous and so unprofessional in so many aspects. Your company will never get any business from nor any of my family. It’s sad as a company you allow your customers to be subjected to such horrible customer service and sad you allow your company to be represented by such customer service. It’s clear knowing how to hire correct Team members is something as a company you need to revisit
Please do not! I repeat do not ever ever return or get your U-Haul or do any business with these crooks. My husband and I used U-Haul numerous times, but the last time made me not ever want to do business again with U-Haul. My husband return the truck back a day earlier. He put gas in when returning to Charlotte and even put gas in before we return it. The gas suppose to be at 1/4. We return it where they said they had to put $6 in it. Then charged us $13.50 for gas service fee. Then they charged us another $30 for another service on top of that fee. I called and called to try to get it resolve. The U-Haul reps told me the manager on statesville rd had to take it off because that $30 fee is totally optional. I called him and finally got in touch with him which he said he would call me back and never did. Against my better judgement I did not follow up and a day after Christmas got $85 taken from my husband’s account because they charged another $30 for not resolving within 7 days. Mine you Robert the manager never and I repeat never called me back to resolve like he said. We are in the process of a dispute and a fraud charged because that is exactly what Robert is a Big Fraud. But best believe I will be going to his office ASAP like I should have went the very first time.

Customer service might not be the best; however they are fast, easy and affordable.I rented a 15” it got me from point A to point B without a problem & it was clean.
U-Haul in Charlotte has seriously exceeded my expectations. Thank you for all of your help post-Hurricane Florence. The staff coordinating Charlotte has been kind, fast, and friendly. The staff at the Statesville Road location was the same. My family absolutely appreciates your assistance. Thank you!

When I made my reservation to rent a truck. I experienced wonderful customer service by Alex. He helped me get the right size truck for our move. Alex was so professional over the phone and in person. The 10ft. truck was clean and very easy to drive. Whenever I need another rental I plan use their services again.
The inventory is great as they have a very large fleet of trucks. The management was also very nice but the service at the desk could use some work. Very slow but gets the job done
Such a waste of time. Made an appointment for hitch installation & took time off from work, only to get there & have the employee (no mask) tell us they couldn’t do it until 2 days from now. Now we have to scramble to get a hitch somewhere else. All the front desk person said was ‘Sorry I’m only part time’.
Horrible place! Young lady keeps answering the phone and saying hold on. Had me on hold or two hours never follow up with me. Keeps hanging up which is very rude and I only had one question.
I wouldn’t recommend any stars worst place you can rent from .manager is horrible she just sits in the office and won’t do anything, there was nobody to help me also I will be contacting corporate
The entire staff provided me with excellent customer service. They were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this uhaul location. Clint is a wonderful manager!

My experience at this storage was awesome Rebecca was very helpful meeting all of my needs. She wasnt able to get us the rate we were promised but Im sure that not her fault. The unit was clean and I felt my belongings are very secure.
Very unprofessional, client service coordinator was very rude. She looked a hot mess. There was a man there who wasn’t even a employee and she kept talking to him and not us. She kept texting on her phone. It was such a terrible experience. Guy just sat there as if it was okay. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL.
This is the place to go. The staff, especially Matt, is very professional and helpful. Uhaul Statesville has fair and accurate estimates and is very quick with returns. A pleasant experience all around !
I came, waited in line for over 20 minutes just for them to tell me that there was no truck available and send me to another location. This is after I did the online self check in.
Everytime we visit this location it’s a issue. The man that works there name Quinton stayed if you 15mins late picking up your reservation than they bump your reservation. He also stated that online was not accurate. I think wrong to a customer to no have this information available. Customer service was not great at all. Told me as the customer let me talk. I have wrote several reviews to cooperate has yet got a response. Please don’t rent at this location unless you want to be talked to like a kid and being told to go to another location for a truck. I’m soSick of dealing with this company as a Whole
Call before you go. They open whenever they feel like. Here at 7 am. Doors weren’t open until 7:45😡
DO NOT GO HERE—this was not only my worst experience with Uhaul, but one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Despite having a reservation, it still took me more than two hours to get out of the store and the employees were rude.

The building is going through some issues apparently and check in is set up out of a uhaul storage container. He tried to be high tech and get me to do all the paperwork online and it failed so it wasted time I didnt have but I was happy he was still open after 5pm.
Had a mechanical issue with a uhaul, they quickly arranged for a new one and gave us a discount, manager is very nice

They are not located where the address says they are. What kind of BS is this? I called the bimbo and she said were on Statesville and they ARE NOT. They are on BOXMEER Not on statesville. Where do they hire these people? I wasted gas and time riding up and down statesville rd. They should give me a discount!
I made a reservation here and the officer booked for 11 hrs instead of one day. When I called the location for resolution he hanged up the phone on me. It was a different person from the person I met. When I called the line again someone else picked up at that location and just couldnt wait to get off the line. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Ive used u haul many times but I will never use this location again. They blantenly lied and said I was a quarter of a tank short in gas and charges me for it. Went in to tell them THEIR mistake said I couldnt prove it. Im going to corporate for this with my receipts!!!
I sent a lot of U-box to U-hual in various places. This is the worst I have ever met. I even refused to move the van on the road, so I could not back in the dock. I wont be here again in the future.
