Out of ALL the cars on my side in the apartment complex I live in, my car is the ONLY one that gets towed AGAIN while additional cars with expired tags are here parked right by mine. Its at least 5 to 10 vehicles with expired tags on my side. Its one RIGHT in front of the building with expired tags and they skipped right over that one and they still managed to take only mine once again. We are still in the middle of a pandemic and yall towing cars to get ya rocks off. Not to mention the fee to get ya car out is RIDICULOUS!

This company should be SHUT DOWN! They are money hungry and will do anything to get money! I am going to contact Action 9 and have them to investigate this company! Any business that doesn’t take credit cards should not be apart of the BBB. They are LIARS and PREY on people innocent people for money! I called this company numerous times and I received three different stories!There is nothing professional about this company and all they do is ride around and find cars that they can tow and make up lies to justify their actions! As they have in my case! They haven’t heard the last of me! Upon looking at the reviews I see that this company has done alot of unethical things. Right is Right and Wrong is Wrong but, VICK your company was very WRONG in this case. You were very rude and I will not stop until this company is investigated thoroughly. They did not have any receipts and the only options to pay was using cash, which I feel is very shady and probably dont pay taxes either. Everybody that wrote a review need to report this company, so that they cant be in BUSINESS anymore for making unauthorized towing pick ups.I really appreciate all the reviews that were posted about this company, because this is definitely going to help me build my case against this company. My ultimate goal is to make sure that they do not take any advantages of anyone else!!!This company is not apart of BBB and if you had an issue with this company please report to BBB. This should be done so that they can review the complaints and start the investigation process.Not only will they be being reported to the BBB but also the IRS - who accepts cash only? Hmmmm

THIS TOWING COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS!!! I RECORDED THEM IN MY COMPLEX TOWING A VAN AND PULLED IT TO THE SIDE AND WENT INSIDE OF THEIR CAR!!!! I CALLED THEM AFTER THE INCIDENT AND ASKED DO THEY GO INSIDE OF CARS WHEN THEY TOW AND THEY CLEARLY TOLD ME NO. WELL I HAVE VIDEO PROOF OF THEM DOING JUST THAT. Janky company!! They scout around snatching up peoples cars. They don’t accept Debit Cards and won’t give you any change. Told me to come in the morning to pickup my change???! Showed up at my door at 4am demanding $200!!!No type of identification on them or the truck just illegally towing without staying who they are. 2 creepy looking old guys. I’m calling Channel 9 in the morning... What a ripoff. It’s the crack headed look to get high for meeeeee!!

Towed my car while visiting a friend and couldn’t accept card payment. The tow mans response was quick and the process was simple.

Had a warning sticker on my car from this towing company while parked in a resident space at an apartment complex I live in. The car had a current tag and resident parking sticker in a visible place. The warning had “other” as the reason. The company said it was because the car hadn’t been moved “in a while.” In this case that was 5 days. I’m working from home in the middle of a pandemic and I’m at risk. I could see if it had been weeks, but 5 days? The apartment manager will be talking with this company. This is a predatory towing company and should be avoided at all costs.

My car broke down and we left a note in the window- the car was there for maybe two hours when it was towed by Xpress. We called the company and asked how much- a man answered and told us it would be $225 if we picked it up today (and it had to be all cash) or $250 if we couldn’t get it until tomorrow. We called around 5:20 pm and they were closing at 6. The man on the phone told us he would wait for us until 6:15. We got there at 6:10 and all of a sudden the price was $250 (he asked my husband where he worked, he told him and the man said “no a black man owns that business” which is my husbands uncle, from then the price increased). The man continued to be rude and unprofessional. He refused a card, didn’t charge any tax and didn’t give us a receipt. Wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone I know.

This place is the worse towing company in Charlotte they illegally towing cars. There were at least 6 cars with bad tag but tow me car for no reason. My car should not have been towed, had my baby car seat in the car. Reporting to channel nine news and bad business immediately.

I brought someone to pick up a car and this is what I observed, These people will do and say anything to get money sadly they even try to go up on the price once we there but of course that didnt happen but he tried it Bob was his name but the funny thing is he also answered to the name James but he said he wasnt James which is the owner it also appears that Bob likes younger women from what me and the lady that I brought observed he took a lot of time to chat and kiss a much younger woman I guess he was her sugar daddy, nevertheless who ever the young lady was it was so unprofessional on his part

The worst towing company ever. It shows a lot about your apartment complex if they use this janky company. What towing company makes you set appointment to pick up your own car?!? Then don’t show up on time waited almost 2 hours to get my car. Then Top that off only take cash then you don’t have ZERO change ?!?

It seems like we always find ourselves being towed but it is what it is when you’re in the wrong.Call and ask for their address, they answer pretty quick and they’ll text you so be on the lookout for that. They take cash only so be prepared (in my experience it’s always best to have exact change regardless of which towing company you’re working with).Also be aware that the owner of the vehicle has to be there with ID to pick up the car. I know, it’s pretty inconvenient but that’s how it goes.They stay open pretty late (till 6pm) which is nice considering work hours but I was advised to call beforehand to make sure someone is there.Besides losing money again, it was a pretty painless process. They’re friendly people, we were in and out.

Wish I could give NO stars. 1) Towed my car from in front of my own apartment because I forgot to put my sticker on it. Ok, Ill own that part, BUT 2) Phone number was disconnected so I could not make arrangements to get information about where and how and how much it would be to get my car. 3) Refused credit card - CASH only, very sketchy.... 4) Damaged my car when they pulled it out backward and at an angle - I could tell it was off when driving it so I immediately took it to my mechanic and had to have the alignment redone which was just done 2 weeks ago. I would recommend any apartment complex that contracts with them to cancel and go with a decent professional towing company but THIS AINT IT

Although my vehicle was towed after being in handicapped. I’ve been parking there almost 3 years and my car has never been towed. Service was fast in recovering my vehicle. Also BRING CASH ONLY. They are not working in a new millennium.

This a great company was efficient and on time when I needed him very courteous.

They pick my car just for a flat tire!! Ridiculous!!I was parking in the apartments parking lot where a live.I have a shoulder injury and this is why I don’t change the wheel.Somebody said affordable price ? Hahaha mad mood, they charge me $200 just for take out my car from there for one day only stay in his yard.We sad because I have to left my car there!!!I don’t know if this under the law, they can do whatever with the price!!!Mfks

Terrible businesses like these need to be shut down. Im sure the towing service is great but the customer service and their attitude along with towing peoples cars from where they live is why Im giving this a bad review.

This company took care of all my towing needs at affordable prices if you ever need a tow or road side assist call xpress towing & recovery great people great company!!!!

This business is shady and the owner is a fraud. He quoted us on price and then charged us a higher price. Deceptive business practices. Towed our daughters car at Circle K when she was at orientation.

Complete scum bags. Had me wait outside in the cold for 15 minutes as they had to go get ink. Refused to take any money off for having me wait. Even tho they are open from 7am-3pm today.

I had a bad experience with them they took my car from a place that they are authorized to enter to pick up cars that have a warning that there is a problem but mine had no warning and even so they took it they could not give a reasonable explanation for which I would not use your company for my towing needs

This towing company preys on college students in the Charlotte area. He is rude and disrespectful to the kids. Ramping up charges! This man need to be dealt with. I will wait for the news report on that incident!
