I was on vacation in Charlotte NC when on my way back home, my car would not crank! Everyone at the hotel was trying their best to be helpful, but it wasn’t successful. I made the decision to call Reid’s and they came quickly and towed my vehicle to their lot. Once I got their, I was there for less than an hour and they had already replaced my battery and had us back on the road! Everyone was so helpful and kind! Thank you all again for such excellent, affordable service!

Reid was so awesome. My 29 foot class C RV broke down on the side of I485. I googled towing near me and just went down the list. I was told no 10+ times that no one in Charlotte could tow it that I would need a road side Mechanic. WRONG!! I spoke to Reid who said they could defiantly tow it for me AND they have a repair shop to work on whatever was wrong with it. The RV was on the side of 485 at 3pm on a Sunday and was towed, diagnosed, repaired and ready to drive off his lot by 12pm the next day. To all my fellow travelers who have any issues, CALL REIDS!!!!

I needed a tow for my 79’ Corvette yesterday. The guy who answered was friendly and helpful. Tried to get me the tow as soon as he could. He said he has the perfect guy to come grab my Vette. We saw our Oil Pressure light come on our 2015 Canyon and knew better than to drive it anywhere. I saw that Reids offers towing and repair and saw the multiple positive reviews on Google Maps so I gave them a chance. They were slammed, but still able to tow the truck from my home to the shop that morning. I was asked to text my address which I did, but didnt get a confirmation that the text had been received - so my one suggestion for improvement would be to prioritize more communication with the customer. Also - I had to call later in the day to check in as I had not heard anything and it was only then was I informed the part would arrive the next day. Anyway - they ran a diagnostic and ordered/installed a sensor but it didnt fix the problem. They then offered to tow the truck to the dealer for a more advanced diagnostic at no further cost to me. So all I paid was the initial tow and the wholesale part cost. I would have paid more to have it towed to the dealer anyway so I am happy to leave a good review for Reids.___Update:So the dealer spent 3 hours on the phone with GMC support and after running more advanced diagnostics realized that the crew at Reids had correctly installed the oil pressure switch BUT incorrectly hooked the electrical wiring up afterwards. So the switch was reporting incorrect pressure as it was hooked to the AC unit. I am not an expert so probably am not explaining this correctly - but suffice it to say that Reids may be better suited to smaller jobs. I still appreciate the tow so I will only ding one star - but at this point we would have been better off just going to the dealer directly.

It was a great experience at first. But my next visit was a disaster. There was nothing wrong with my vehicle, just took it in to have my radiator switched out & brakes changed. Now my engine light is on, brakes grinding and squeaking, 3 other lights on. Vehicle wont accelerate & constantly cutting off. Definitely wont b going back.

This was by far the greatest shop I have ever dealt with. Friendly, kind, fast and affordable. We had a very big issues to deal with in a very short amount of time. The owner, employees and his Son worked together and put in extra time to make sure the car was ready when we needed it and it was actually done early. I can’t say enough great things about them! Call then for any needs from tires to repairs to detailing!

I called this company after having a blowout on my front tire. I waited over 2 hours on another towing service through my insurance and they still didnt show up. I decided I waited long enough. Reids towing was the first place I called and I explained my problem to them. They looked to see if they had my tire size but they didnt and told me when they could get them in which was the next day. They immediately offered me a tow and a very reasonable price for the tow to the nearest tire shop. I accepted and they were there within 3 minutes and hooking my car up. The driver for this tow was so nice and very pleasant to talk to. Im very appreciative for this company and the way they treat their customers. I highly recommend them and if I ever need another tow they will be my very first call. Thank you all at Reids Towing so much!

I am new to the area and was fully stranded with no one to call with a dead battery right before a severe thunderstorm hit this afternoon. Reid himself was at my aid within 15 minutes and had my car running in what seemed like seconds! Better than AAA! I highly recommend and will use his service again if needed!

My family and I were in Charlotte on vacation and on our way to Myrtle Beach for a wedding. Our van would not start on Friday morning and the wedding was the next day. We called Reid Towing and Mr. Reid came right away to our hotel. He told us he’d have our van ready by 5 pm so we could still make it to the wedding. Not only did he have the van fixed before 5 pm, he even gave us a ride to his shop! Great price...not just good!!! And its not the usual where service is supplemented or takes a hit cause the cost. Dont know Mr. Reed personally. But from my interaction with him can only say stand up guy...and his driver as well. He quoted me a price, even after getting the quote calling around and calling him back. He treated more than a simple he wanted my business though his actions showed that. He made me feel almost like we were folk, he called twice back to make sure everything was Luv!!! ... The driver obviously knew what he was doing. He pulled my tractor trailer out the mud in boot 10-15 min... Was supposed to leave the review that night cause they deserved it...but Ive got around to it.

Christmas Eve, I was on my way home to my 4 and 5 year old and everything went wrong with my car in Charlotte. I called several closed towing companies before I got Reid. He personally came to check on me before his driver made it to tow my car. After he looked at the car, he drove around Charlotte and found a great shop that was open and could get me in without waiting, so that I could make it back to Florida in time to give my kids their Christmas pajamas! Such kindness! Christmas saved!

We found this service online last night. Words do not give true definition of how professional Mr. Reid and his tow guy Mr. Pat was. They saved the day. First they answered after hours on a Saturday evening and I didnt have to speak to a machine for services. Next Mr. Reid was very understanding of the situation. Mr. Pat was timely and proficient. The cost of the service was very reasonable and I know without any doubt we would highly recommend this towing company over any of the others we have ever used. After a long day of calling around, Im glad God presented them to us(all through a Google search) Keep up the excellent work Mr. Reid and Mr. Pat!!!!!!

My beater (kids have labelled it The Turd) had clutch issue on way to work one morning. Managed to get it there without too much drama, but there it sat for almost two weeks while I was out of town on business. Finally got around to doing something about it. Luckily my office is not far from Reids. I googled towing nearby and decided on Reids because of positive reviews. Good choice. Called for tow ~8am, gotta call when truck was 5 mins out, vehicle gone by 9am. Reids called with very reasonable estimate. The Turd was back on road by 4pm. Outstanding.

This has to be the best place in the world to go. I take my son to school literally a couple blocks up the street. Well yesterday my tire blew out otw to pick up my son from school n as I rolled in his school (on my rim with 10% air left) I remembered stopping at Reids on time before to ask about a thump in my car. I managed to make it to them n unfortunately my tire could not be plugged n they did not have my size. They called around for me to find me a tire that wasnt to far from their location and I could ride with someone to get the tire picked up n they would put it on for me since my car was now stuck here. They even offered to give me a somewhat bigger tire just to get me there n back (but I already had my mother otw) I didnt realize the place closed at 5 n we where already at this point close to 5:45pm. Not only did they find me a great tire for only 50 dollars they stayed open later for me to put it on so I could get my 2 year old around. Sooooooo, when I went to pay he told me ( you keep your $) I honestly wanted to cry because I was already short on cash n honestly was having a bad week. Me and my mother also left with a great laugh from their Towing guy ( he was awesome as well lol) best customer service iv ever gotten. It honestly felt like home... I dont think I will go anywhere else EVER!!!!! Thank you Reids for getting this single mother rolling again.

I called because I had a flat tire an was unable to change with the tools I had. Was offered a tow for 90$ When I explained my situation Reids offered to come change to tire to my spare for me. Reids was helpful and quick was able to come and change tire, my car was not far from the shop and the whole service took less than 30 mins from the call. I was disappointed when I was still charged 90$ fee same as a tow for just having my tire switched out.

A complete Blessing! I got myself stranded at a Wal-Mart on a hot and sunny day. I tried 2 dealerships, the auto center at walmart and my personal mechanic and finally had to Google a towing company. Reids Towing was one of the closest that popped up and I figured they were the best shot an a Saturday evening because they are listed as 24 hrs a day. The man who answered listened to me as I talked in circles trying to explain my problem.*He offered a possible solution, to try on my own*Yes, he was trying to help me, even though it meant he wouldnt get paid!!!His solution worked and my car was running in less than a minute.Reids Towing, thank you so much!

I called Reids for a tow? He was 1mi from me. I said thats fine can you please tow my unit in? He asked if i had ins? I said yes sir. He said be there in 5 min and his driver was leaving finally we were almost ready to leave. He proceeded to get into his truck and he threw his hand up at me and told me wait one minute finally he opened my door and told me to get in and lets go well when I stepped into that old truck the smell of marijuana about knock me back out. I started coughing and he looked at me and laughed and ask me am i okay?? I said sure then he said if not that he had some medicine for me I said oh no sir thank you but I have my own medication at home and he said well I bet you dont have this kind of medication at home and I said what kind of medications and he said ( broccoli) I said sir are you okay because thats a vegetable and he said yep it sure is. He said but they kind of vegetables that you can smoke and come from Cali.. I said no sir i played around in college that was 20 years ago thank you but no thank you. We get to his shop which is a little bitty metal shed. It was Young girls with almost nothing on!! Running around smoking ( broccoli) Then Reid asked if I had insurance. I said yes why? He said we can file ur ins and you only pay the 500 deductible I say sir will it cost that much to fix? He has not open my hood yet! He then said well I will wave 250 and I should have the car running by Monday. And dont worry about the insurance i deal with them every day and that it should not cost no more than $2,000 to fix. I said WOW!! Then CARLOS FROM C-A COMES DOWN AND SAYS Hes the mechanic. But he could barely hold his eyes open and was standing up passing in and out. WOW!! Needless to say I called another towing company and they towed me home. Reid charge me$ 285.00for a 3 min 1mi tow! I would not recommend Reids Towing or CARLOS from there other garage. They are ins scam artist and back yard so called mechanic.
